I didn't even know there was any better app than Adobe reader. This horrible app makes me cry.
Lol. how did the htc one frustrate you.
And what's your current Lumia?
yea. it was the uselessness of the app that made me look for a better one.

my htc was android. aside from the lags, the kind virus that hit the phone made me give up. there'll be full network on the phone but i couldn't make calls neither could i recieve.

i'm very happy with windows now. i don't have to boost my ram every time( it became a reflexx at some point with my former android), don't have to worry about security and i have enough apps for my daily needs.

yiu should try "videoshop". it's better than movie jax. and it's free

i use L730

l535 has poor display that cannot play high graphic games. so some games will not show in your store. only God knows how microsoft does this restrictions.

that's why they rushed to release 540. now that is a good budget phone

one downside about windows mobile is that you are limited to certain apps and heavy games when using a 512mb ram device.

i first used 630 before going for 730 after realizing this.

and if you are using a 1gig ram device, change your region to US then restart your phone.

the Nigerian store is limited also.

hope that helps

We are cowards ! South African army confesses :

= We 800 SANDF troops where afraid of 500 Sudanese troops

= We SANDF have MRAPS, but we trembled before Sudanese in Hilux Toyotas

= We SANDF have DENEL made weapons but we are ready to surrender to Sudanese men with AK-47

= We SANDF don't mind to surrender, we did same to Seleka in C.A.R, we see enemy, we surrender !

= Imagine it was Boko Haram, we will surrender in 5 minutes, that's even worse than Seleka terror

= We SANDF are now happy that we do not have to fight, we came here for the UN monthly salary

= We SANDF fear death more than a chicken fears cooking pot

= We SANDF are born cowards, it's in our blood, no matter the training and equipment ![/size]

SA troops in Sudan feared the worst

Pretoria - More than 800 terrified South African soldiers in Sudan feared the worst when their camp was surrounded by Sudanese troops.

"In order to save lives, we would have to have surrendered if they stormed us. One battalion of soldiers without proper weapons could not fight against an entire country's army," a South African soldier told Netwerk24.

It is believed that Al-Bashir was possibly allowed to leave South Africa amid fears of violence against the South African peacekeepers.

But a soldier said: "We were so scared - we were surrounded by soldiers. "

A friend of a soldier at the base said that they were surrounded by about 500 heavily-armed Sudanese soldiers in Hilux bakkies at about 10:00 on Monday. Al-Bashir's jet took off from Waterkloof air force base at about midday on Monday.

While the court bid to have him arrested continued in Pretoria, the South African soldiers were surrounded. They were placed at Level 2 readiness, which means they had to be battle ready and fully armed.

About 2/3 of Nigeria looks like perfect country for wheeled operations
In urban areas and towns.. Yes

In rural areas with less accessible roads.. BIg NO

Come to Nigeria during the rainy season and travel to the villages (like where boko haram is operating in the north). It's always terrible, you'll get stuck on wheeled vehicles.

We need both. We still have huge forests, jungles and riverine areas that a wheeled IFV has no business operating in.

Many photos have been posted already so I don't see any reason why you guys want to lecture us on what we live on.

Thats why the Americans started building Stryker Brigades and why practically all new IFV's are wheeled (Except for countries like Isreal or Germany who have unique needs)
You already know I'll tackle you on this grin grin western a5slicker grin grin

America fields what they require. Shouldn't be a yardstick for what others should do.

Environment also dictates military requirements.

Last I remember, after Vietnam, US army is not currently engaged in jungles or forest terrains with muddy/marshy roads.

This is not about patriotism. It about being objective in comparisons
Foreign AffairsRe: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by stillchris:
This is what we are trying to tell @mikeza who believes he knows stuff but knows only SA.

Different climate

Different environments

Different requirements

Please sink that in when next you want to dictate what Nigeria should be deploying.

While wheeled mobility is fast and light (only for urban terrain with okay roads), tracked vehicles is better for most places in rural areas in Nigeria. We need both

Like you stated.. Israel and Germany still deploys tracked IFV because of their unique needs. So why not Nigeria or any other country with such conditions?

You'll get stuck. Especially in the rainy seasons.

Patches, Us is shifting to wheeled mobility because most of its military's AOR in it's current engagement will be suitable for it. But it doesn't mean they'll totally replace tracked vehicles.

You build what your military requires. That's the doctrine

Tracked vehicles became popular with the US army during the Vietnam war when they had to travel along mzuddy and marshy routs on patrols

i can bet my last cent that you don't even know what it is. just the word "Tactical" amuses you south africans.

If a data link standard in order to provide communication via
radio waves or cable used the military to transmit, relay and receive tactical data is not TDL,

then tell me what Nigerian Navy uses to transmit data from the ATR to navan vessels.

Or from naval control stations to naval vessels.

Or from combat areas in maiduguri to DHQ in Abuja

Or from our surveillance platforms to commanders on ground.

I can go on and on on instances it has been used.

You south Africans are just shouting TDL as if it's a technology beyond any nation's reach.

The real fraud is SANDF. No evidence of operational usage of data link. Just on paper

dude, i seriously don't get what the fuzz is about datalink.

if NAMA, a civil authority can have an operatiinal datalink, what makes you think the government would not provide one for the military?

The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) in conjunction with SITA is deploying Controller Pilot Data Link Communication (CPDLC) facilities at Lagos and Kano Control Centres to enhance long range data communication between Air Traffic Controllers and the Pilots.
http://voiceofnigeria.org/nigeria/nama-deploys-data-link-facilities-to-boost-communication.html

We have given many proof that the Nigerian military has an operational datalink infrastructure. but being secretive, they will not let us know what type.

now the only thing i se here is south africans have never seen proof of SANDF operationak datalink. if there is, give us one instance where it's been used.

Logic?

Argument from ignorance (Latin: argumentum ad ignorantiam), also known as appeal to ignorance (in which ignorance stands for "lack of evidence to the contrary"wink, is a fallacy in informal logic. It asserts that a proposition is true because it has not yet been proven false (or vice versa).
Logic

You now have the nerve to ask "deep and reaching" questions, pretending as if you have any clew of what you're talking about. You again are deadly silent about 8 pilots in 2012, when you claimed 6.

In Nigeria the only way to get to 18 is 9 + 9? Not 12 + 6, 14 + 4, 13 + 5.....only 9 + 9?

The number 9 ONLY comes from this forum. Nowhere else in the entire universe is the number 9 linked with SAAF Gripen pilots besides THIS forum. And then you have the guts to demand proof to counter claims literally pulled out of your a.ss

60 posts). It takes seventeen months to train up a combat pilot.

In addition, 58 of 167 helicopter pilot posts (34%) are currently vacant. He adds that it takes
sixteen months to train a helicopter pilot.

Furthermore, 30% of posts for transport pilots are vacant (48 of 156 posts) "and it takes twelve
