Which way Nigeria....
why should our youths be used against their will?
why should our blood be spilled for a nation that doesn't believe in us!
why should we carry arms to fight fellow men because we assume we are fighting for a just course!
I have only one advise for the youths of this generation: let's unite ourselves and herald a revolution from all nukes of this great nation and do only one thing for now!!! MATCH TO ASO ROCK AND DEMAND FOR THE 3,000,000 JOBS. we don't mind if it would be provided in 4 years but the youths need job simple

Career5 Tricks For Your Next Salary Negotiation by stingbreed(op): 1:05pm On May 14, 2016
You’ve spent long months on an exhaustive job search, sending out resumes and dutifully attending networking events. You finally got an offer for a job you wanted. Victory, right? Hold on, your work isn’t quite done. Before accepting the new gig, you still have an important task: salary negotiation.

The fear of losing the offer and the stress of haggling are common roadblocks to asking for more. In fact, 59% of American employees accepted the salary they were first offered, according to a recent Glassdoor study. And as study after study shows, women are much less likely to negotiate than their male counterparts.

“Money is emotional, but following a well-disciplined strategy can help take the emotion out of it,” says career coach Connie Thanasoulis-Cerrachio of SixFigureStart. Here are five her of negotiation tips to get you to market value.

Don’t lie about what you’re currently earning

When job applications or recruiters ask for your salary history, don’t pad the truth. “While you may be tempted to fudge because you know you’re being paid below market value, don’t,” says Thanasoulis-Cerrachio. Your salary history can be checked once you receive an offer and recruiters may know each other at various firms and check.

Instead what you can do is make them want you during the interview process, giving you more leverage when compensation talks begin. And remember you can add any bonuses you’ve earned to your base salary in your response.

Don’t lowball

Resist the temptation to seal the deal quickly by accepting the first offer. You’ll be leaving a lot of money on the table if you lowball your own salary, says Thanasoulis-Cerrachio. Again, include total compensation versus just your base salary. This can include vacation, 401(k) match, stocks, education/training, commuting or moving expenses, and more.

Use objective numbers

Present a business case for the salary you should be paid. Prepare multiple data points that include salary websites like Glassdoor.com, Wetfeet.com and Salary.com, and compare like roles in similar companies within your industry.

“Calculate what you expect to bring to the bottom line and bring that into the discussion,” advises Thanasoulis-Cerrachio. And if they don’t budge on the salary, ask for a review in 3 to 6 months.

Use the right language

Take out words that charge emotion – don’t use words like “feel” or “worth” or even “deserve” in your discussions and stay away from powerful phrases like “I’m disappointed,” because it might sound like you’re scolding them, says Thanasoulis-Cerrachio.

Lead the conversation with positive words that support the offer they’ve just given you. Expressing gratitude and excitement will help build on what you do agree with -- and will hopefully land you and your potential employer at a realistic number that’ll make you both happy.

Practice

This is one conversation you certainly should not be winging. Even if you’re trying your best to take the emotion out of it, negotiation is nerve-racking no matter how you slice it. The best thing you can do for yourself is to practice with someone you’re comfortable with -- someone who will give you honest feedback.

“Practicing with someone who will say ‘no’ and ‘maybe’ will build your negotiating muscle,” says Thanasoulis-Cerrachio. And don’t just do it once, practice until you look and feel confident.

And remember, you may not always get the number you want right now, but it’s not just your salary you can negotiate. Think about what will really make you happy to take on this job and then revisit the money question in another three months.

HealthThe Side Of Your Face That Will Always Look Older by stingbreed(op): 12:56pm On May 14, 2016
Whether you realize it or not, every time you get in your car, you’re fielding ultraviolet A (UV-A) radiation through the windows and windshield. The sun’s UV-A rays are responsible for premature aging and wrinkles, as well as skin cancer and cataracts. Although all the windows in your car offer some protection, not all the windows are created equal — which may result in skin damage you’ve never even thought about, according to a new study published in JAMA Ophthalmology.
According to lead researcher and ophthalmologist Brian Boxer Wachler, MD, he noticed something interesting in one of his patients, which spawned the idea for his study. “I was evaluating a patient with keratoconus and I noticed her age spots on her left cheek,” he tells Yahoo Beauty. “I found many studies that found more skin cancer on the left side of the face compared to the right side of the face. In Australia, where people drive on the left side of the road, it’s just the opposite — there is more skin cancer on the right side of the face.”

Since the UV-A protection of cars in the United States differs across models, Boxer Wachler decided to measure the radiation entering vehicles through the windshield and the driver-side windows in 29 automobiles from 15 automobile manufacturers. The cars dated from 1990 to 2014, with an average make year of 2010.
Related: This High-Tech ‘Second Skin’ Breakthrough May Make Wrinkles a Thing of the Past
As it turns out, a car’s windshield seems to block roughly 96 percent of the UV-A radiation while you’re driving, whereas the car’s side windows block only around 71 percent of those damaging rays. Only 14 percent of cars (four out of 29) had side windows that shielded more than 90 percent of UV-A radiation.
Boxer Wachler says that side-window protection was super variable. “There was no relationship between high-end cars and low-end cars for side-window UV protection — in other words, many more-expensive cars had just as poor side-window UV protection as more-affordable cars,” he explains. “We also found tinted windows do not guarantee full UV protection, since a number of tinted windows had low UV protection.”
Boxer Wachler says he hopes this study will “fill in the blank” as to why doctors see more skin cancer and cataracts on the left side of the face in the United States, because of lower UV protection on average in driver-side windows. Interestingly, doctors and researchers have long been noticing that more skin cancers and cataracts tend to appear on the left side of the face — right where a car’s driver would be exposed to more UV-A radiation.
Related: 14 Sunscreens That Actually Make Your Skin Look Better
Dermatologist Orit Markowitz, MD, director of Skin Cancer and Pigmented Lesions at Mount Sinai Hospital, has also noticed the trend in left-side skin issues. “Cars are better equipped today than they were years ago to block some of the harmful rays,” she tells Yahoo Beauty. “But there is a clear history of driver versus passenger [skin damage] for many patients, affecting the location of their skin cancers and photo damage.”
We know that UV-A damage is extremely harmful. “These are the rays used in tanning beds, and they’re more linked to aging, wrinkling of the skin, and skin cancer than UV-B,” Markowitz says. “Hence, why medical light therapy is mostly limited to narrow band UV-B. When UV-A rays come in contact with the skin, they start altering DNA, and this alteration can continue years after exposure.”
Boxer Wachler says he hopes automakers recognize UV-A protection as a “potential public safety issue for millions of drivers” in the United States and would recommend better blocking of those harmful rays.

What does this mean for you? Don’t forget that you’re still exposed to dangerous UV-A light through windows — and even ones with UV protection are not catchalls. “It would be prudent to consider having an aftermarket fully UV-blocking clear film put on your car’s side windows to protect you and children in the back seats.” If you want to check your car or home’s UV protection, Boxer Wachler says you can contact his office for a free UV tester.
Lastly, just think of this study as another friendly reminder to always apply sunscreen each morning — well before you hit the road.

FamilyRe: 6 ways women can avoid domestic violence. by stingbreed(m): 7:01pm On May 09, 2016
Wealthgang:
People who usually rant "never lay hands on a woman no matter what" are those who end up doing it. Its not just by ranting it, u have to understand d real principle behind that statement. I know this from experience.

So why should u generally not lay hands on a woman? Simple! Cos women are generally perceived as weaker (physically) than men, hence are defenseless.
In order words, d real quip should be "never lay hands on a defenseless person (male or female)" instead of "never lay hands on a woman". The latter is by no means a moral absolute.

Saying that it is never justifiable under any circumstance whatsoever, to "lay hands on a woman" is d stupidest thing anyone can say.
As a martial arts student, I wouldn't fight with a lady (non-martial arts) any more than I wouldn't fight a 12yr-old boy or a disabled person. They're defenseless.

In d case where a lady is not defenseless n tries anything physical with u, by all means defend urself.
If d lady is defenseless but provokes u, by all means control urself no matter what.
If she's defenseless but still attacks u, by all means give her a dirty slap. It shud end dere, punches n kicks n headbutts not allowed.

I remember an incident that happnd in UBA bank uniport (which is usually crowded). A girl was shouting n cursing in d bank over her 5k which was wrongly deducted n d staff were trying 2 calm her down. Then a boy sitting elsewhere told her 2 calm down, that d money was just 5k na and would be refunded. This didn't go well with d gal cos b4 we knew it, she walked up to 2 boy & slapped him hard. As if that wasn't enough, she took off her slippers n slapped d boy again with it, to d dismay of evry1. She wanted 2 hit him again b4 a guy drew her away. D customers inside d bank were so angry n some were prompting d boy 2 give d gal a dirty slap n were swearing d gal would have died if it was them. The boy didn't react but just walkd outside.

What happnd afta, I dnt know.

If u were in his shoes, what wud u do?
If it was me, I won't hesitate 2 slap her back n front. Y have d guts 2 slap me in public? "Never lay hands on a woman" my ass. Wud also do same if it was a guy.
Some women don't hesitate 2 slap n attack men because they have that mentality an absolute law is guiding dem n they kw how 2 cry a river when a finger touches them. Bullshit!

As for wife-beating, men who do dat are goats n I wonder how women still go ahead 2 marry such men. One big cause of it is poverty n blockheadedness. U hardly c wealthy/enlightnd pple pummeling their wives.
Where I blame women 4 it is y they allow themselvs 2 be beaten continuously all in d name of luv or i-want-to-save-my-marriage
Correct guy cool

Useless...

No matter what. You have no right to hit a woman. A man abuse you would you punch him? NO. But a woman you will.

*Pulls out dick and start masturbation on threaD*
seems u haven't been with a lot of ladies, most women are really aggressive & in an argument they usually get physical first..
I would never hit a woman but that doesn't mean i should watch her hit me... Shey u get.. ? huh huh
