It can take off from major ways which will serve as runway, I nor any open space the length if it take of space, it does not necessary means airport runway.

It requires a runway to fly so it's useless.

It those not mean normal runway, at least you can take off from free way that is up to 1000 ft open with no obstruction in site.

Normal riffle is more than enough to do damage, armoured piercing round is not a cheap rounds to use, and you are not fighting bullet proof body.

And what you say you saw is amour piercing rounds its not, ak7 can tear one apart in a close range. And why would the military use armour piercing round protesters, did the protesters came with armoured body lolz.

let me just break it down for you, effective range of the weapon our army uses in terms of higher is 1300ft, and it could get to above 2700ft but not effective rage.

only anti aircraft gun can achieve such night and above (15,000ft).

Police helicopter can easily take out anyone using ak47 at 3500ft, because you bullet from down below using ak47 can never get to that height.

50Calibre can get to 11,000 and above.

I hope that helps so you will know the differences between Anti Aircraft Gun and normal Aks.

They are fired up to 15000 feet at 1500m/s. They fall back at 200m/s and can still be quite deadly, that's why people are killed by stray bullets.

The pilot I suspect must have dumped his fuel in anticipation of a crash in an urban area. No pilot will fly with inadequate fuel and if it so happens to be so, would have made an emergency landing in an open area.

Thirdly, the AIB coming out with this statement of the pilot not having a valid liscence is following the earlier NCAA's very unprofessional utterance long before AIB came out with their prelimunary report, that the helicopter in question was not approved for flight operations by them.

Then how come an aircraft that was not approved for operations was being operated within Nigerian airspace by an unqualified Pilot?

These NCAA idiots don't know they are even indicting themselves for failing to do their job.

This is not the first time the useless NCAA has been in the eye of the storm. This same NCAA came out to tell us that the black box for Bellview Airliner that mysteriously crashed somewhere around Ibadan airspace in 2005 was stolen from their office in Lagos.
