AfonjaConehead:Is there a law that empowers a Nigerian party to prevent Nigerians from joining its fold? When one realises he cannot get what he wants in the party he joined, he will move on to where his type are are already calling the shots. That is the case of Atiku and his return to PDP where he can buy party primaries that he had failed to accomplish in APC. You are the hypocrite who set out to term others as zombies, when indeed you are the grand zombie that Atiku and his friends are relying on to access public funds for their own benefit. |
Ayorinwolemi:But you have been shown historical fact of how Atiku enriched himself and his friends in a corrupt manner while he was in office as Vice President, and you are still saying he will not be corrupt this time but he will ensure to enrich his friends by abusing his public office that should not be partial to any friend? Are you not a grand zombie? |
chiangwar:You mean Otunba Fasawe represents all Nigerians? How much of PTDF funds that Atiku and his friends used for their own personal business did all Nigerians receive? I did not receive my own share then from Atiku, yet I am a Nigerian. |

I don't know! Tell me more. Tell me how much revenue this Buhari regime has made in less than 4yrs such that $30b has been misappropriated, and how it happened. I am waiting to be educated and enlightened. |
Very true! Even Atiku still cannot believe that his hands are seriously tied. While Atiku support groups are still earnestly waiting to chop Atiku's money with reckless abandon. We remember Jonathan and PDP election largesse.
|
AfonjaConehead:Was he a presidential candidate of APC? Did he make the same promise to enrich his friends with the public purse while in APC? Your zombiism is a hopeless case. |
Shikini:That is why Atiku has promised to do same again. It is a must that he will enrich his friends with public funds like he did when he was Vice President. If you did nothing to him before, he knows you are too insignificant to do anything now. |
Skseries:You mean Sahara Reporters had an ulterior motive in February 2007 when the post was published? Why are you not bothered about the motive of a Vice-President who abused his office to enrich himself and his friends, and has even promised to do same again if elected President? |
Atiku's logic is that he has helped friends before with public funds and his political office, and it did not result to his conviction. So if Nigerians still choose to vote for him, he will do what he did before and ensure that privatization of public assets must benefit his friends, and public funds must be made available for his friends to do business for personal profit at the expense of Nigeria. The request for the release of the $20 million, was predicated on the issue of the ongoing projects being executed by the Fund, whereas it was not so. The funds were released again by the VP and were sent straight to the same placement in TIB. This second release according to reports was done without the knowledge and approval of the President and the FEC, even though the President’s own pattern of management of the Petroleum Resources ministry pointed to the fact that both the VP and the President might have shared. As these funds were hitting the two preferred banks, “loans” were packaged by TIB, even without adequate collateral, for his long time friend and business associate, Otunba Oluwole Johnson Haliru Fasawe through NDTV and Mofas. In Mofas, one of the directors is Alhaji Adamu Abubakar, a son of the VP. Through the VP’s name was not stated as a director of Marine Float, evidence abounds that the account is controlled by him. First, the VP admitted he paid N30million for the property from that account; secondly, most of the beneficiaries from the account are his friends, associates. |
Atiku Abubakar who recently promised to use his position if elected as President, to continue enriching his friends even if he cannot enrich his family, is really a man of his words The below excerpts from a Sahara Reporters article in February 2007, reminds us all of how Atiku Abubakar used his position as Vice President to enrich himself and his friends, to the detriment of the public purse A thief who evades justice will always have the opportunity to steal again. A leopard can never change its spots. In the course of his eight years stewardship, Mr. Abukakar has managed to corner controlling shares in Bank PHB, controlling shares in Intel, an oil services company with operates in Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Sao Tome and Principe; controlling shares in AP Petroleum, which he was forced to divest recently in a hail of controversy regarding the ethics of his management of the country’s privatization program. Added to all these assets must be included the control of huge assets in real estate in Yola where today he has 146 houses; the largest print press in Northern Nigeria; and the control of the Faro private water business.http://saharareporters.com/2007/02/20/vice-president-atikus-burden-corruption |
One of my many disappointments with the Buhari regime is how he has handled the corruption allegations levelled against his own presidency officials. Also the lack of ruthlessness in dealing with the corruption cases that stem from the Jonathan regime of waste and failure. |
As for the CJN, I expect him to report himself at the CCT by morning. He should be ashamed of himself for not knowing and obeying the law as a senior Jurist who has passed judgement in many lawsuits. He who lives by the law, must die by the law. I rise! |
Lets hear from Ozekhome and SS Govs. The problem with Mike Ozekhome is that in his delusion he still considers himself a social and democratic activist, like when he was still under the tutelage of Gani Fawehinmi. Meanwhile the same Ozekhome is the most prolific defense attorney in most of the cases of corruption and theft that we have experienced since the return to democracy. Every corrupt public officer continues with their crime knowing that Mike Ozekhome will be willing to offer his services, as long as he gets a good share of the proceeds. They milk Nigeria, Ozekhome milks them. Then he wakes up when idle and becomes an activist once again, cleverly baiting the next customer who has just raped Nigeria. If I was a young lawyer looking for a job, my patriotic leanings will never allow me a clear conscience if I applied to work at Mike Ozekhome's law firm. I would rather apply to join the Police. |
Wiseandtrue:Do you mean the below picture is desperation by PDP in 2015, which still resulted in a sacking from power?

As the matter relates to declaration of assets to the CCB, and not a matter of judicial corruption or professional indiscretion, how is it then the purview of the NJC to investigate because the dramatis personae is a judge? When did asset declaration become a matter for the NJC? The matter as far as I am concerned is already being handled by the appropriate institution which is the CCB who have already investigated, and relayed their findings to the CCT. More so, the accused has already tendered a confession alleging that he mysteriously forgot to update his declaration when it expired, and assumed that his much later declaration would suffice for the past indiscretion for bank accounts with contents that summed up to over $700k. Fortunately, haven risen to the top of the Judiciary, he must already know that ignorance is not tenable before the law. |
I believe it will stop when we stop having criminal lawyers like Ricky Tarfa who bribe judges, and when we stop having judges whose judgement is for the highest bidder. Every layman in Nigeria knows that our legal system is rotten. Starting from the Police to the Judiciary who both make up this legal system. We should not also forget the legislature who also make these laws yet they resist police arrest and jump out of moving vehicles taking them to court, and hide on the tree to evade justice. Both groups do not believe in any law, yet they daily make laws and employ the law to arrest, prosecute and pass judgement on fellow citizens in a republic where all have the same rights. So they are themselves the assault on our legal system, and should be flushed away. |
madridguy:PDP sycophants think everyone must be stupid and lacking a memory, to even fancy their chances at ruling Nigeria again just 4yrs after they were sacked for 16yrs of untiring failure and theft. We will always remind them of the past failures we are all suffering now, and we must always remind them that Atiku was indicted of corruption by his own PDP government. |
There is a video trending online where some Yoruba Traditional Rulers were seen on camera collecting brown envelopes at the background while Tinubu was being interviewed. You rightly assert that nobody knows what is in the brown envelope. Sharing like this picture below? At least we can see what is inside of this envelope, compared to a file envelope that could have contained any document. With the below proof of how Nigeria was run bankrupt by PDP and the subsequent revelation of the Dasuki-moni initiative where over $2b security funds was shared among the already rich, some people still have the effrontery to canvass for a return to the days of PDP in power with a PDP indicted Vice-President who turned public funds to his personal wealth. Yet the same people without a memory love to call others Zombies? What an irony.

If Justice Walter Onnoghen is guilty of the charges about to be preferred against him, let his guilt be determined by a competent court of law and not by the Buhari administration. The executive cannot usurp the role of the judiciary. Nigeria is still a democracy and not a fascist dictatorship as President Buhari may wish.Atiku should not worry as the constitution is being clearly followed in this case so far. If Atiku really loved to defend our constitution, he would not have corruptly enriched himself with public funds laundered to the USA as Vice-President. hucienda:How is it dangerous that the most senior judicial officer is being afforded the judicial processes in explaining why he does not follow the constitution of the country he adjudicates over? The CJN lives by the law, and he should be ready to die by the law. |
breakeven:That is the legacy that PDP bequeathed to Nigeria after 16yrs in power. As at 1999 before PDP, what we had in Nigeria were refugee camps for our fellow West Africans (Liberia, Sierra Leone). As at 2015 on PDP's sacking, we had IDP camps all over Nigeria. |
henryhemon:So you mean it is evil for a CJN to be accountable before the law, despite the valid allegations made? But it is not evil for the same CJN to pass judgement in the many cases he adjudicated over the span of his career? The cases of Tinubu and Saraki were even cited, yet you claim evil will befall a citizen because he chose to be objective rather than partisan? You are part of the disease that is plaguing this country. Let those who live by the law, also die by the law. |
When did Obiano become a member of PDP? When did APGA agree to ally with PDP? PDP should rather be worried about their Northern party leaders who are daily decamping to APC, instead of disturbing Obiano who has no business with PDP. |
So those concerned do not have mouth to speak for themselves? |
b0rn2fuck:Oya start crying so that we will gift it to you even in the Amala and Ewedu APC that Igbos don't support. |
This man below knows the truth. Igbos’re lukewarm- AmaechiThe Igbo elder has advised his tribesmen to work hard like the Yorubas are already doing. The time they are spending lamenting and attacking Tinubu, Fashola, Osinbajo and Yorubas generally, they could have spent it traversing the country and engaging other tribes and their trado-political leaders. Instead the Igboman thinks that such lobbying is beneath him who by delusion is the most qualified to lead Nigeria. While still making out time to mock those politicians from other regions who are already doing the lobbying. The Igbo man calls those politicians as slaves, yet his answer to the political affront posed by his adversaries is to be a deputy to a Northerner. When a Northerner, even an Almajiri, promises an Igbo man the deputy position beneath a Northern principal, the Igbo man feels loved and overjoyed like an orphan who never experienced the warm embrace of a loving parent. To him, it is like a fantasy come true, like Pinocchio searching and finding the Blue fairy so he could become a real boy. See below what an Igbo elder did when he learnt that a Fulani gworo-chewing Muslim Atiku will chose an Igbo boy to be his deputy. He totally lost his composure and hugged Atiku like the Messiah his dying generation had been waiting to see. He even said it was his dying wish that his tribe must continue to serve under their Muslim Fulani Northern masters, rather than aspire to the prime position themselves. What a shame!

Why are Ohaneze concerned with what Osinbajo or Tinubu are doing in their Amala and ewedu janjawee.d APC party? Why not face their party PDP or APGA that they have laboured for, while Tinubu is facing his own party that he has laboured for? Even in PDP, the Yoruba politicians will certainly contest for the 2023 presidential ticket there, just as Ekwueme contested against the victorious Obasanjo in 1998 and 2002 primaries of the PDP when the ticket was last zoned to the entire South. Don Etiebet, Alabo Graham Douglas, and a host of other Southerners contested the 1998 PDP primaries that Obasanjo won without any entitlements. The entire North of PDP have had their turn in 2018, with Atiku from NorthEast defeating Tambuwal of NorthWest and Saraki of NorthCentral. As per PDP rule, the 2023 presidential ticket will be zoned to the entire South, and the SouthWest and SouthSouth will compete for it, since the SouthEast have chickened out of it and have rather shown interest in being deputy to a Northern candidate in continuation of the legacy of mental slavery and inferiority that their ancestors passed on to them. As for APC, it will do whatever is good for APC without any regard for Ohaneze or PDP that are irrelevant to the party. |
Modarun:What are the consequences of Peter Obi that was then of APGA, having a cordial relationship with PDP and Jonathan that were in power at the federal government, despite the President and his party being daily criticised by Nigerians as a clueless retarded failure, and eventually being sacked from office? |
But they are relegated to helping you launder money, while you maintain mistresses in very expensive hotels, using looted public funds. A kleptomaniac like Atiku must not be handed the keys to the federal purse.

Yet she was mocking Purity the daughter of Mercy Johnson, not knowing her own case will be worse with a single parent status. |
According to Moshood, all the police personnel attached to the person of the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki, his office and family are intact and all the statutory security protection on his person are also accorded him all the time and there was no complaint from him before now to the Police on this.So with all the above mentioned security details, Saraki is still afraid for his life? Truly, there is no peace for the wicked. |
“The fact is that it was the Police that brought him to the DSS facility after obtaining a 14-day detention warrant with effect from 9th January, 2019. The aim of bringing him to the Service’s facility is to complement Police efforts in giving the Senator a deserved medical attention. Our quack journalists in Nigeria just love using captivating headlines to sell their junk news. |
If only the violence in Lagos was a mirage. Nigerian politics has always been violent because of politicians like you and the rest across all parties. |
