Built2last:The above is a perfect example of the toxic combination of what illiteracy, Ignorance and deliberate misinformation can cause in the general public, when you realise that this faulty analysis was liked by over 200 similar illiterates who have even ironically poked fun at Buhari for not passing Mathematics at O'levels. WAEC was established in 1952, so now in 2018 it is 66yrs. Buhari was born in 1942, so now in 2018 he is 75yrs but will be 76yrs as at December. The difference in age between Buhari and WAEC is 76 - 66 = 10yrs. This means Buhari that was born in 1942 is 10yrs older than WAEC, and not that he was 10yrs (9yrs) when he sat for WAEC. So Buhari being 10yrs in 1952 when WAEC was created, then wrote the O'level exams in 1961 as a 19yr old. This was a deliberate conclusion by the above quoted fellow who sought to misinform many who were actually hoping to be misinformed because they need a reason to continue being miserable, and the fact that many liked the outcome of the mathematical analysis without verifying it is testament to this. It is a deliberately dubious mathematics because even the originator has already stated that Buhari was born in 1942 and that WAEC was established in 1952. Such similar dubious mathematical analysis is a favourite staple of those who oppose the President, including the political party PDP is guilty of this mathematical rubbish, which arrives at an arithmetic value and then ascribe it to the false conclusion and misinformation that was intended. People only want to see and read what would make them justified in their criticism of the president, and they love this particular result propaganda that has now been killed but which they are trying their futile best to resurrect. |
sean1000x:Musiliu smith is a Yoruba from Lagos, and an IG of police when Okiro was yet to even become Police Commissioner of Lagos. What the news will deliberately not tell us, is if Okiro's tenure had already legally expired and he was only being duly replaced as mandatory. |
MaziOmenuko:You have made immense sense. |
aribisala0:The day the Yorubas start to blame Igbos for their problems, that is the day I will begin to worry about my Yoruba tribe. What the Igbos communicate inadvertently with their persecution complex and the "Yoruba are wicked" mindset, is pure inferiority complex. |
mapet:People who reason like him need to be reminded of the past experience they now suggest as a better alternative. |
CAPSLOCKED:You couldn't have made a better reminder to Xander85 and others who suffer both a low self esteem, and a short memory. |
NATIONALPASTOR:The great Yorubas caused the problems of the inferior Igbos. Persecution complex! Admission of failure and defeat. |
Why is a man who claims to be the one wronged, avoiding the court? Where else can he find justice? |
The government and military hierarchy need to investigate these allegations and prosecute those indicted. Nothing seems to ever be structured in Nigeria. Why are we so useless as a people and as a government? |
Even those that cheer FFK know he is a crackhead. |
That is my grouse with the anti-corruption fight. While focussing on the big wigs who have stashed dollars in septic tanks or abandoned houses in ghettos, or sold off government assets to their cronies, we should never forget the corruption perpetrated by the steadfastly unrepentant civil servants in the MDAs. Anyone with the contact details of the ministry of Aviation, Information or EFCC? I mean email address or like a contact phone number? We need to stop complaining alone, but reach out to those who should take action. Lai Mohammed has failed terribly in his role of national re-orientation that should articulate the Buhari regime's drive to fight corruption. Posters should be conspicuously located at the airports to campaign against any form of extortion by airport personnel. |
nevilbot:I understand tracking of a civilian plane by every Tom, Dick and Harry, but a presidential plane? I understand aviation officials in each country tracking even Presidential planes entering into the national airspace, but for a regular Joe to just use his mobile device to have such access, shows the little knowledge we have about intelligent security as opposed to gra gra security. The presidency is thoughtless to its own self. |
JONNYSPUTE:Boko haram cells stationed in Abuja could also track it and actually know when it enters Nigerian airspace and know which plane to shoot down with a missile once it starts to descend into visible sky. |
JONNYSPUTE:I can just imagine everybody with access to the internet tracking the flight of the US Airforce One. Many missiles would just be flying into the air. The Presidents of Rwanda and Burundi were both killed by a surface to air missile that struck the airplane conveying both. The death of the Rwandan president precipitated the Rwandan genocide between the Tutsi and the Hutu that populate both countries. |
Buhari should have notified about his departure some days earlier. Many protesters have just wasted their Pounds Sterling to organize a protest that is now fruitless. |
B737NG:You did your bit. Thanks! However, I can understand why such tracking would now have been disabled. That you were even able to track it to begin with, suggests how lackadaisical we are about security in this country. Even the presidency has failed to provide top notch security for its principal. |
Mynd44, truly those seats are not empty. I can see heads slightly, and the fact that a conductor is there interacting with passengers suggest that those seats are not empty. |
menstrualpad:Some mothers do have 'em. |
Some Africans have been so broken that they do not even know their identity or tribe. They now have to do DNA but were still rejected. |
menstrualpad:So you have been tamed and you now know how to bless? You are a joke. Next time, make your comments without threats of superstitious layings. |
lordkush:I think OBJ saying 2007 election is a do or die affair for PDP is the earliest hate speech in this political dispensation. Yar Adua who was a beneficiary of that election also confirmed that the election was rigged. FFK was a member of that OBJ government. So any politician warning the PDP not to rig elections again, know why they are making their own threats. |
I fail to see where the Yoruba man claimed Ilorin is not ethnically Yoruba land? Is it politically and geographically in the current North of Nigeria? Yes! |
Okoroawusa:Truly, some of their stories have come out false. Investigative journalism is to reveal the event before it occurs, hence the event could have been postponed or altered having been already outed. Also, sources are only as credible as the position they hold within the organization the news concerns. There is no telling how true the information is. But you can never fault Sahara Reporters on obtaining hard facts before reporting a story. They don't just tell the the results of their investigations, they also display the evidences obtained during the investigation. |
Whether illustration or not, it is good we have Sahara Reporters doing the only investigative journalism for which some Nigerians will still hate them for. |
Funny thing is even FFK called president Jonathan names, until he was given food to sing a new tune. It is also obvious to those with common sense that FFK deliberately mentioned some of those insults/accusations because he believed in them and wanted us to remember. For instance, the Omisore own who was a notorious suspect arrested for the murder of Bola Ige. The cutlass wielding Wike. Even his opinion on Fayose was not hidden. His own opinion on Igbos was a topic of national discussion for weeks. |

unohbethel:Trash or not, you have been enlightened. So when next you intend to debate from a position of ignorance, you will remember what you read today. |
I weep for Nigeria. Newly independent Southern Sudan is exporting over a million refugees to her neighbour after independent from Sudan, will Ndi-Igbo put a leach on its Frankenstein Monster? Or are they pleased they finally have a mad man who can face that imaginary enemy? War is not a tea party, those who survived Biafra 1 should know better, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu also bragged, told his people they have all the weapons, at least Ojukwu did have some weapons, he deployed the resources of his wealthy father Sir Louis Odumegwu Ojukwu, KBE.Ojukwu deployed propaganda, his people bought it, they had a reason to, they had legitimate grievances, they had just faced a horrible pogrom, Ojukwu gave them hope, but hope does not win wars, preparation and a long standing strategy does, when the dream failed, Ojukwu had a plan B, a plane to take him away from the war zone, he did not forget to go with his Mercedes benz car, his immediate family and enough foreign currency to give him a comfortable life in exile, he lived in a mansion facing the sea side, his people are still traumatised till today. He came back from exile, joined the party of the so-called enemy, he joined National Party of Nigeria a party perceived to be ‘Northern’. He died a Nigerian, buried with the green white green flag wrapped around his casket. Hundreds of wounded Biafra soldiers still litter Enugu-Anambra roads till today begging for alms to at least have one food a day.Let the ignorant be informed. |
