For the likes of Chris Nwaokobia who remain ignorant. However, the organization confirmed that according to the Regulations for 1961, African Language papers, including those for Hausa were set for the West African School Certificate while examination results were classed in grades by 1 to 9. “1,2,3,4,5 & 6 indicate a Pass with Credit; 7 & 8 indicate a Pass; 9 indicates a Failure. To pass the School Certificate, candidates had to pass examinations in a variety of groups. |
Jessewizy:Need I remind you that the Cambridge WASC exam of 1961 was conducted in collaboration with West African Examination Council, and original certificates issued then bore both Cambridge and WAEC. So yes, WAEC has every right to issue documents for exams it has been collaborating on and for which it had been involved in the certificates, before it later became exclusive to WAEC alone. Cambridge Master Sheet already shows you in the top left corner that WAEC was involved then in 1961, and certificates from that era clearly bore both Cambridge and WAEC. See the Cambridge Master sheet attached. See also a sample Certificate (Not Buhari's own) from a distant time.

asuustrike1:Mr Chris raised an ignorant point that has been addressed since 2015, so WAEC has no business replying people who have refused to be saved from ignorance. Cambridge set the 1961 WASC exam in collaboration with WAEC. Cambridge has replied those who enquired as to the truth behind the claims that there was no Hausa Language in 1961. They have informed those who are willing to be educated, that there was Hausa in 1961 and even gave the actual number of 152 candidates who sat for it, therefore it is not an error to have candidates from 1961 with certificates or statement of result or attestation showing Hausa Language. The link to the Cambridge Assessment official statement on this matter is there for all who are not determined to remain ignorant and peddle falsehoods. http://www.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/news/statement-in-response-to-nigerian-presidential-election-enquiries/ The Cambridge Result Master Sheet already shows the subjects and grades, and it shows clearly that there are grades for Hausa for many of the students in Buhari's school, if not all of them. Learn to move on when the main source has told you the facts. |
Johnnyessence:Just accept your embarrassing big folly and move on. |
asuustrike1:Who did this to you? Cambridge is telling you that they offered the subject in 1961 and that 152 candidates sat for Hausa, yet you are still enmeshed in ignorance? Or is it Chris Nwaokobia that set the Cambridge exams to have more knowledge than Cambridge? Did you open the web link of Cambridge Assessment, yet you were not educated? What manner of idiocy has slowly overshadowed Nigerians? |
Jokerman:Since you want to be educated. See below attachment of the Cambridge Result Master Sheet, from which the exam scores on any certificate from Cambridge or WAEC would be obtain from. This master sheet from Cambridge clearly shows in the top left corner, "in collaboration with West African Examination Council" I can also show you an original certificate from that era that clearly shows both Cambridge and WAEC written boldly. So WAEC has every authority to issue what it has always been part of since 1952, while Buhari sat for the exam in 1961.

At least, an aspect of your ignorance has been educated today. Where you encounter such ignorance around you, you would be the one to educate them with the truth. |
Johnnyessence:You just love to embarrass yourself. Shame on you! This lie has long been addressed since 2015 as evident by the attached screenshot Till today, the information remains available on the official website of Cambridge Assessment. http://www.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/news/statement-in-response-to-nigerian-presidential-election-enquiries/
|

I know the truth offends you. Just apologize for your big folly, and be on your way. |
seunmsg:I think a biological weapon has been used on Nigerians. Despite all the raw evidences from the most relevant of sources as those who conducted the exams, people would rather swim in ignorance. It is official, we are nationally daft. |
magoo10:Who is the Zombie now? You and Chris Nwaokobia or Cambridge who set the exams with Hausa in 1961? The attachment from 2015 still remains on this official website link till today. http://www.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/news/statement-in-response-to-nigerian-presidential-election-enquiries/
|
chisco82:I have addressed it, but I am certain you do not want to be educated or enlightened. You cannot bear to know the truth, so you would rather hold on to ignorance. All that I attached had been available since 2015, but many of you had your head way deep into Jonathan/PDP ass, to give yourselves a chance to be informed. The link below has even been updated, but the central information remains the same. Cambridge offered Hausa in 1961. http://www.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/news/statement-in-response-to-nigerian-presidential-election-enquiries/ |
chisco82:You are one of many arrogant illiterates who have been educated with the facts from Cambridge, but still refuse to accept knowledge. One thing remains true, a man who is pretending to be asleep, cannot be awakened. I have attached proof from Cambridge that Hausa Language was available as a paper in 1961, now show me your own proof from the same Cambridge that it was not available. Maybe all those who wrote the Hausa Paper as indicated on the attached Cambridge Result Master Sheet, were in a trance when they thought they wrote the paper, and Cambridge examiners mistook English for Hausa? Please stop embarrassing yourself. Show me proof that Buhari has a younger sister who is older. Proof that she is the younger, then proof that her age is older. You belong to the beer parlour educational institute, where fables from drunk men are parroted with the conviction of Socrates.
|
SarkinYarki:I have attached the pictures so that you can always learn to restrain yourself before you end up embarrassing yourself, because you love fake news and misinformation that is beneficial to your propaganda. Maybe Cambridge who set the exam is unaware of its own records. And all the students who wrote the exam in 1961 as evident on the Cambridge Result Master sheet, are imaginary Nigerians who also want to be President like Buhari? This attachment from 2015, still remains on this official Cambridge website link till today. http://www.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/news/statement-in-response-to-nigerian-presidential-election-enquiries/
|
onatisi:So who are these classmates who wrote Hausa Language with him? Has Cambridge not already clarified the lies emanating from Nigeria? You just love to be happy over fake news that aligns with your prejudices.
|
chinjo:So Cambridge is lying? Why do you like embarrassing yourselves because you cannot control your happiness over fake news?
|
Channels or Chris Nwaokobia who gave his own ignorant opinion is not Cambridge. Cambridge has since replied to this lie since 2015. And till this very day, the same information is still available on the official website of Cambridge Assessment given in the link below. Besides the Cambridge result master sheet shows that Hausa was offered, and many besides Buhari wrote the paper. Maybe your ignorant Channels source is telling us they all wrote an imaginary exam, or Cambridge is unaware of its own exam records? What is evident is that many are ignorant and those who peddle this propaganda are unrelenting, and are determined to exploit the mental handicap of the educated illiterates of Nigeria. http://www.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/news/statement-in-response-to-nigerian-presidential-election-enquiries/ Also attached below is a sample of 1961 WASC certificate (not for Buhari) from Cambridge and WAEC, guess what, it has no certificate number. It only has an Index No. Which is the center number/Candidate number. On the certificate is written clearly that this index number is 8390/152, while for Buhari we know it is 8280/002 for the center No (8280) and the candidate No (002). So WAEC is right to have issued an attestation with a registration number but Original Certificate Number is N/A for 1961.
|
She can try. |
TheDevilIsALai:Can WAEC forge it's own document that it has authority to issue, and for which a record exist of the scores from the 1961 certificate exams by University of Cambridge and awarded in collaboration with WAEC?
|
Wisebird22:The same way Jonathan won election in 2011. |
Deepthoughts:There's conflicting information on whether it was 1961 or 1962. Many different sources online reference either one. But none references an earlier time of 1960 when we are certain he had not written his exams. |
wideawaken01:What if the Original certificate as at 1961 did not have a number, and only had the candidate registration number? Would a fake number be imputed just to please you? Is the candidate registration number which identifies the candidate in the exam and the scores in the records, not on the attestation? Why not show us an attestation of a candidate from 1961 or earlier who has also lost his certificate, then let us see if the old original certificate number that is N/A in buhari's attestation would also be N/A for such a similar candidate or it would be otherwise? Why are you comparing 1961 candidate to a 1984 candidate? To further show you that they are too distant to compare and certainly do not have the same conditions and considerations, the attestation of 1961 exams of Buhari did not state the month because it was never recorded on certificates awarded in 1961, while the attestation of 1984 exams of your comparison clearly states it was June because such information was imputed on certificates as at 1984. You cannot expect an attestation to manufacture information that was never applicable to exam certificates as far back as 1961. So "Not Applicable" remains valid where there was no application of such entry. |
That is great goal but a very uphill task, especially in an academic field. Since Wole Soyinka became the first African to be awarded the Nobel prize for an academic field (Literature: for his Drama and Poetry), and the 2nd black man in the whole world in an academic field after the Afro-Caribbean Economist, W Arthur Lewis (1979), there exist only 4 black Nobel Laureates in the whole world till date in an academic field, and Wole Soyinka remains the only black African till date in an academic field. However, a couple of non-black Africans have since won in an academic field, 2 being in Literature after Wole Soyinka (1986), and they are the Arab Egyptian, Naguib Mahfouz (1988), and White South African, Nadine Gordimer (1991). Ahmed Zewail also an Arab Egyptian, won it in the scientific field of Chemistry (1999). Many Africans, whether black, Arab, or White, have won in the Peace category. |
Deepthoughts:Records shows he joined the army in 1962. His application to the Army was in 1961 prior to writing the exams, hence the recommendation letter from his Principal who was certain he would pass his WASC as stated in the letter. That alone is proof that there was an exam in the offing and it was understood by all parties involved that the exam would be taken. This exam was taken in 1961, for which we do not have such old record of the month. He joined the army in 1962 having already taken the WASC in 1961, for which only those who were his colleagues at that time would know what month the Army recruited in 1962. |
mandax:Dude Channels did the cropping for whatever reasons that could be to achieve a fixed print paper size. There are other available records of the same Master sheet. Buhari has never denied he used Mohamed in his younger years for which all his academic documents bear exact same spelling. That he later changed to a different style of the same name which now appears as Muhammad, is his own business, not yours. How do you know by what legal instrument he changed his name when you are not privy to his life or his decisions? Are you saying you did not receive a private copy of the legal instrument for his name change in your PO Box that you are entitled to, for you to make the conclusion that he did not effect a lawful change? How can humans be this miserable and determined to wail aimlessly? |
chisco82:It will never be well with the old woman who did this to you. Buhari is 76 in December 2018 like you claim. WAEC is 66 in 2018 just like you also claim. Hence, 76 - 66 = 10yrs, was the age of Buhari when WAEC was created in 1952 since Buhari was born in 1942. So how is that a problem and who told you Buhari wrote his WAEC in 1952 when it was just established, as opposed to the 1961 we all know he wrote it at age 19yrs? Does your own conclusion make any sense to you? Are you saying you wrote your own WAEC at the age of X - 66, where X is your current age and 66 is the age of WAEC? I repeat, it would never be well with that old woman from your father's side who used your brain to toast bread. |
kenechukwuj:Are you saying that documents issued in 2015 upon request by the candidate to substitute for a lost certificate, should then have a picture from1961 when it was just issued in 2015, for which the applicant for the document submitted his current picture? Are we this dull in Nigeria or we are just plain stupid? |
PrecisionFx:I can see that the truth is hurting your soul. |
amazon14:You are one of the dead brains dragging this country down. It is common knowledge to those whose brains are alive, that Cambridge has responded since 2015 to the false claim that there was no Hausa in 1961, by confirming Hausa was available as a subject and even stated the number (152) of candidates who sat for Hausa in 1961. You are a disgrace to your ancestors who felt your education that they never had, would give you better opportunities in life. |
immhotep:Oboy! So you are truly one of those many idiots who kept on harping and exposing their own stupidity to the public. So you are telling me that if in 2015 you approached your school in Oshogbo Osun state, that you graduated from in 1982, the principal should not sign the result sheet as the current 2015, and your result should not be indicated as that of the exam of 1982? Are you saying Osun State that was created much later should not be included in the result template that was available as at 2015, because it did not exist as a state in 1982? Are you saying that the school result template that is designed to cater for all available exams that students currently sit for, should not be used to cater for your own result because there was no NECO in 1982, so NECO should not appear in the general template to be used for a result you just applied for having lost your certificate? Are you slowly seeing how daft many Nigerians like you are? Did I also mention that you would have also preferred to supply your 1982 passport picture as opposed to the recent picture of your current 2015 when you applied for the document? Some mothers truly have 'em. |
drnoel:Please you are educated enough to know that if you go to your old school over 50yrs later to secure a lost document that now requires a passport picture, you would supply a picture of your current self. Same applies to the recently issued WAEC attestation with a recent picture. Gosh! It is not rocket science. |
