do4luv14: that's cause no cohesion, and coordination,
the first girl was going for the ball, before that, number 22, fly's in, therefore giving the southie chance to score, Exactly. I absolutely concur.
coach should revamp the frontline and back four, this second half |

South Africa beating Nigeria 2-0. Our players look too big, old, overweight and slow. Those small Southie girls in oversized jerseys are giving us a big problem. |

12large1: To be fair to insigne, he is Napoli all time top scorer even ahead of Maradona, hamsik and osimehn is a new signing. So, it will be difficult for him to pass the torch to osimehn considering that he is used to being the star man Insigne all time scorer ? |

If not that alot of us feel that Osimhen should always start, i feel a terem Moffi and taiwo Awoniyi combo will be totally disastrous against the opposition. |

chrisooblog: For now under Rohr his preferred setup is to use a lone striker which has served us well during his tenure. Kelechi in the beginning, Ighalo and now Osimhen have all done reasonably well under this system. But I suspect you think like I do that a system which utilizes 2 forwards will be absolutely devastating to the opposition. Personally I think God has blessed Gernot with strikers and wingers that all have different strengths and attributes so trying to come up with a good balance should be possible.
For the Liberia game I think many factors contributed to Victor's below par showing. The pitch didn't help also the supporting cast were often not on the same wavelength with him. Like Supernerd so expertly broke down their were two glaring occasions that Aina and Ndidi out to have passed to him but choose the wrong option. Anyway strikers have their off days. Aubameyang and Salah were ineffective in the Gabon vs Egypt game so it happens.
Thing is forwards like Victor not matter what kind of game they are having can always nip in to score a vital goal when it matters most. Absolutely. I totally agree with you. Exactly what I thought. |

12large1: Not really. 352 when attacking and 532 while defending is such a solid formation if your RWB and LWB understand thier position, has a powerful Fitness level and can cross the ball. True. I understand it now. Who do you feel to be the better CM. Akpoguma or Balogun? |

joelsteron: I mean Ndidi can play and act as CM as it's noticeable in his going forward in recent games just like kante does for Chelsea. Then aribo can steb back while he does and vice versa I prefer Ndidi and Onyeka partnership. What do you think? |

12large1: It depends on your opponents. For example, if we're playing a superior opponent (Fifa ranking wise) 352 will be more balanced and adequate while when playing and inferior opponent, 442, 433 can be utilized. I want kelechi and osimehn partnership to continue but it should be done in a 352 formation I understand. But don't you feel that 352 exposes our defensive weaknesses? |

Guys, do we play better with two strikers upfront or with a single striker? I wanna know y'all opinions. Osimhen was kinda off in the Liberia game. Man got me doubting his reliability. |

lusid: it seems this Ebuehi of a guy is overhyped. Cos i dont understand the noise about him For me, the best game i have seen that guy, was Iceland vs Nigeria during the world cup. After that, he hasn't really has much opportunities. We forgot he went to an injury after the world cup. Aina wasn't selected to the world cup, the injury which Ebuehi had, gave Aina opportunity to get into our team, and play in the AFCON19. |

12large1: The coach doesn't select his best players and we can clearly see it by the selection of Simon Moses and Musa ahead of onyekuru and ejuke. Ejuke first half was better than Musa and Moses last 5 games for super eagles. The same issue is occurring at RB as ebuehi is clearly better than aina I understand that he doesn't select players that we perceive to be good enough. Like the Musa and Moses selection. About Aina and Ebuehi, i don't think we can all be sure about this. There is this spark Aina brings during build ups and offensives. I can't castigate Tyronne Ebuehi, because he has few appearances, chances and starts in the Super Eagles. I support more game time for Ebuehi. P. S-i haven't really been a fan of Gernot Rohr |

Tyronne Ebuehi, isn't having enough chances to prove himself. I really like Ola Aina. I like Aina's style of play, but I'll like to see Ebuehi getting a few starts in GWG colours to prove himself. |

12large1: Onyekuru na baller. Another impressive performance again from him continuing from where he stopped vs Liberia. Unfortunately, if everyone is fit and available for selection, onyekuru and ejuke will be dropped to accommodate Simon Moses and Ahmed musa (Bad end product) our coach doesn’t even know his best players Exactly. That's what I noticed. We may say he is closer to the players, but his selections are awkward most atimes. I feel he select players based on familiarity and trust. |

Philosopher1979: Yeah forget about the club ratings. Onyekuru is highly efficient in the final third of the pitch. His stats show it. He can easily get us goals and assists. But our ejuke and nonsense coach may not see it Absolutely. |

Right now, in any important Super Eagles match, I'll always prefer Henry Onyekuru to Samuel Chukwueze. In matches, we need the end products. The dribbles and skills, are other additions. We should stop depending on the Centre Forward alone, to give us goals. We need Wingers that score. IMHO, Onyekuru is the better winger. |

samtol4: The Okoye should be replaced with Uzoho. We thank Alhaji Musa for the years of service to Nigeria; he needs to retire now and allow Ejike and Henry or Kalu to play . I concur, i like Kalu. That guy's free kicks blow my mind. He is underrated. Fun fact, Kalu is the best free kick taker in SE right now but I'm not sure about his health. |
