Currently impossible. The US influence is economically driven and will remain as long as needed. Just look at the large number of US military bases currently in the Middle East.
True. I do believe this might lead to a massive increase of Chinese infrastructure investment in Afghanistan. The Chinese will take this opportunity to give loans and economic aid to the Taliban state.
A chance for China to exert its influence.

This is just the beginning of what I call the "ripple effect". These doesn't mean there would be an end to Western influence in the middle east, but there will be much balance between parties involved more than the past decades.
Education › Re: From Herdsman To Becoming A Professor Of English And Literature by Stormtrooper11(m): 2:30pm On Aug 15, 2021
Personally i got nothing against Fulanis or herdsmen. My problem is with those that break state rules and kill their fellow Nigerians all in the name of blind objectives and goals. This shows you matter how bad is your situation today, you could get over it and have a positive future. Just stay focused and be on your lane.

It's true. I live close by. The enter Jos town has been tensed since morning.
Yesterday, we saw a spoilt and dirty bus filled with Fulanis. Seems they were travelling. Their spoilt bus made a stop at British Junction . They looked dirty and rural. I don't mean to discriminate, but we were suspicious. Now, we are having this situation today. Maybe, it could be relatable.

If i was a platoon or company commander, let's say 70 terrorists surrendered to my unit.
Truth is, only 10 will make it to brigade HQ cos I'll waste you.
These terrorists are only surrendering cos their plans went south. They don't deserve to live. They've killed alot of our good troops and people. They should feel our wrath

I still wonder how most of una dey here alive and well while boatloads of people dey die daily in that disgusting wretched country (sarcasm). I wonder. I'm genuinely curious how many of you guys have actually been victimized in that same Nigeria. Have you been shot? raped? have your home burglarized etc. Most bad sh!t most ppl probably have to deal with was give bribes to cops, what else? I get that there is economic hardship, show me where same isn't true around the world.
I'm not saying Nigeria doesn't have huge issues, but so is the rest of the world, and spending your every living moment to rant on here won't solve the problems.
My parents live right there in Ondo State, 78yrs on this earth, my father has yet to experience any danger that threatened his life, got brothers and sisters all over that same country, and they are alive and well. So what threat have you experienced? pls share. Or you guys just love disseminating rumors without actually witnessing most of these things.
Nigeria bad. rest of the world good. Go to Ecuador, and these latin American countries, then perhaps you'd understand the meaning of crimes. dont tear down your own.
ranting won't make it better. trying to fix it will.
And Oga Dubai, hopefully your issues with fulanis will be resolved in ur life time, hang in there. Me go hold down this Eldorado for ya
Guy we hear bout crimes everyday.
Last week in my hood, a guy was stabbed cos he was owing someone 1000 naira. Yes. 1000 naira!. Damn. My best friend house was burgled this same last week. He was locked from outside, until neighbors came to his rescue in the morning. My ex was raped in the university by MOPOL. People get raped daily. You see underage pregnant girls around. Guy we ain't supposed to be saying everything bout ourselves. We have passed through alot. You kept asking how many times we passed through sh*t. Man, it's alot. Phone snatching broad day light. Phones cut off from people's hands, making them amputees. We have tricycles here. We call them "Keke napep". People are robbed and pushed out of moving vehicles. Wah else do you want to know? No one to respond. No police. Police claim the need money to transport themselves to crime scenes. Damn

All lies and rumours !
Since the newly appointed COAS was sworn in, he hasn't travelled outside the country.
Especially the past 2 to 3 weeks it as been one occasion or ceremony.
I'm not sure about its authenticity, but according to the article, COAS met with the Wagner group leader at Lagos. The COAS didn't travel out

Guys, How true is this ?

Here is the link from the tweet: https://www.peacefmonline.com/pages/local/travel/202107/449229.php

Thoughts on hiring PMCs ?

I know almost everyone on this thread at one point or the other advocated for STEPP to be back, But Eeben Barlow talk say he is not coming back , he is done with Nigeria.

I Know the Gov advised FG to get mercenaries to take the battle to them , does it mean the FG is taking his advise and perhaps FG advise too ?
Ha! undecided so we wanna move in circles?

Sane people are actually comparing US to naija police? For real? Like for fvking real?

Will US police tell you that bail is free and act otherwise? Or will they make your friends and family pay for pen and disinfectant when they come to bail you at the station?

Does the US police exchange people who for one reason or the other opt to pass the night in the police station with actual criminals in the cells in return for a fee and then kill them off?

Does the US police run concentration/death camps like those at Awkuzu SARS where thousands of innocents are tortured for days and murdered in the most gruesome ways possible, with their bodies vanishing for ever?

Does the US police habitually close off streets, arrest everyone they see there, charge them for robbery committed in the area weeks ago and make them bail themselves?

Is the US police in the habit of claiming accidental discharge? Yeah, they sometimes kill people for the fun of it, but do they claim accidental discharge?

Does the US police exist mainly to harass, extort, rob, kidnap and murder on a whim?

See, while the police in the US need work and reform, I would rather face an armed robbery gang or organ trafficker than most Nigerian policemen. Naija police are the stuff of nightmares and those of you who think otherwise probably because you feel you are connected will sooner or later have breakfast served to you hot hot.

As for those of you saying no massacre happened at Lekki, all I can do is forgo my atheism for a day and put you in my prayers.
Guy i don tire for them. I know understand how some lawyers work. They know they ain't defending the truth, but they keep doing it. Damn. Knowing the truth, but defending and believing lies, is the definition of STUPID

There's no evidence till date that anyone died from bullets of Nigerian army. According to the hospitals around the lekki toll gate, the wounded protesters had pellet gunshot wounds and the army doesn't use pump action rifles or Oka.
Even the US made this known a while ago that there's no evidence.
In court, you don't have a case without Evidence. After the incidence, journalists wrote articles about their life being threatened, phone been tapped. Truth is, alot of evidence have been destroyed. I didn't mention massacre. I didn't say we had a massacre. I'm not sure on a massacre, but losing at least a citizen to our Army's bullet is a violation of human rights

oga human rights, asking why was the army there, we all know since objs time till now, the police has been crippled an made ineffective, the army does stop and search, army controls traffic, the army responds to armed robbery calls, the army helps in making arrest, the army provides VIP protection, infact the army does everything now in Nigeria in regards to internal security because the police is I'll equipped, I'll trained etc so tell me why won't the army be there when the army that should be resting in barracks now do all the work, sometimes the way you guys talk with so much confidence all just to tarnish Nigeria amazes me, and ur Nigerians so annoying
Verdammt, I'm tarnishing Nigeria?? Watch your tongue. What do you know about Nigeria? Do you think you are more Nigerian than me? So because it has been happening since OBJ time, means we should continue? I thought this government said they were different? I thought they said they will recruit 10,000 policemen and expand the police? I thought they have regard for the constitution.
Nothing is right here. I'm saying what was supposed to be done. You are defending mediocrisy. You are defending this weak system that doesn't give a damn about you and i, and our generations to come. Do you think I'm happy my country is this way? Why would I derive joy in insulting my country? I'm not a bastard. I'm not a traitor. I stand for the country not its government. Why shouldn't talk about our hurtful matters? So we should just be quiet, suffering and smiling? I'm not a ZOMBIE

Really? Imagine you are a tenant. Your landlord tries to evict you without notice. He brings policemen to evict you. Does it make sense?
Same thing here. You can't carry an arrest just like that. It is unprofessional. This is why politicians will use the police on innocent Nigerians and nothing will happen cos we are oblivious of our rights. You can't carry an arrest without a warrant.
