Majority of Nigerians have agreed that President Muhammadu Buhari must go, but the question we need to ask ourselves is who are we looking unto to take over come 2019?

Certainly, not Atiku, Lamido, Dankwanbo, Kwankaso or Tambuwal of which all are of Hausa-fulani extraction. Thus, any party fielding these politicians will certainly fail because President Muhammadu Buhari has projected his ethnicity beyond nationalistic goals even when there are clear cut evidences of exhibition of ethnic bigotry & jingoism, nepotism, ineptitude, complicity of silence and ibaction in the wanton killings by fulani-herdsmen, ethnicized security agencies & federal govt appointments against Federal Character Act, not forgetting INEC Chairman against the norms of appointing an INEC from a different region the president comes from to favour a particular ethnic tribe, deliberately leaving the Northern border porous to allow influx of terrorists and foreigners for murderous activities & election purposes respectively.

Let no man make any mistake of any Yoruba man becoming the President of Nigeria come 2019, the Southwest region has gotten a greater chunk of their share in the leadership of this country, so I will advice we give the South-East region a chance.

USING THE ONYEJI'S THEOREM TO DETERMINE NIGERIA'S NEXT PRESIDENT

The Onyeji's Theorem states that the determination of Nigeria's successive President, the appropriate Age and Length of Tenure(years) in office is a function of Religion, Ethnicity, Region and State in the order stated.

Using the Onyeji's Theorem, we can deduced from the graph showing "Past and Present Heads of Government Ages: When they entered office and duration in office" that the Appropriate age for a prospective presidential candidate to take up the leadership role is 50years while the tenure in office should not be more than 4years. These values are as a result of the averages of there respective total ages of past and present heads of government and duration of tenure in office.

On 25th May, 2019, President Muhammudu Buhari will be 76years, 5months 12days Old which is 26yrs, 5months and 12days above the ideal age postulated by the theory.

Based on Ethnicity, from the chart enumerated, the igbo ethnic tribe has completed 0.48 years(less than 6months) in power while the Yoruba tribe have completed 11.87 years (almost 12 years). Hausa-Nupe - 0.97 years, Hausa-Kanuri - 4.56 years, Hausa-Sefewa - 5.30 years, Hausa-Gwari - 8 years, while the Hausa-fulani tribe has completed 11.76 years currently, if President Muhammudu Buhari should complete his tenure, the Hausa-fulani tribe would have had 12.85 years in power.

In North-West region for example out of 7 states, only 3 states has lead the country. They are katsina - 8.60 years (over 64%), Sokoto - 4.25 years (less 32%) and Kano - 0.55 years (4%). Katsina State has had the opportunity to be in the helms of affairs thrice, Sokoto and Kano each had only once. In the South-West region, out of 6 states only 2 states, Ogun - 11.64 years and Lagos - 0.23 years have tested power in that region by two(2) presidents.

Going by the statistics, we need not debate where the next President come 2019 Presidential Election should come from in the spirit of fairness and equity.

The Onyeji's Theorem was statistically developed based on empirical facts and figures to help formulate an approved standards of determining the religion, ethnicity, region and state the next president peculiar to Nigeria system should be elected in the spirit of fairness and equity.
