When I applied for ATM Cards in UK (both debit and credit), I was NEVER charged a penny.
The card is given free.
And “maintenance”, if there’s any such thing, is done free.

IF we never get the chance to see how things happen in other places, we won’t know we are being cheated.

When I applied for an ATM Card in Nigeria, I was charged 1,000 naira to have one.
And I’m being charged some extra regularly in the pretence of an imaginary “Card Maintenance Fees”.

This is systemic corruption and a fundamental banking fraud aimed at impoverishing us Nigerians.

Let’s do a little maths, dear friends.

According to NIBSS, as at December 2017, there was almost 65,000 daily Electronic Fund Transfers in 2017.

At 52.50 naira per transaction, that’s over 3 million naira a day.
And about 1 billion naira a year.

Obviously, Nigerian banks is a cesspits of fraud.

The Calculated Underdevelopment of the SouthSouth and SouthEast Regions by President Buhari's APC Government.

One clear observation since the inception of this nepotic and ethnocentric APC Govt led by King of the North is the way over concentration of projects with foreign borrowed loans in the North( Hausa-fulani land) and in the West (Yoruba land), neglecting d South east and south South regions where there are over concentration of skilled manpower with the oil resources that is the life blood of this 'Shit hole' country.

Not forgetting over 90% of borrowed loans are. being funneled to projects in the Northwestern region of Nigeria while virtually all foreign Aids goes to NorthEast region leaving the rest of the regions to squabble over leftovers.

And some one will tell me President Gen(rtd) Muhammadu Buhari is not corrupt. Can we easily forget the oil supply arrangements with Niger Republic to Oil Refinery in Katsina State to be built with money from the oil coning out of Niger Delta?

Or is the railway line between Daura, Katsina State, Nigeria and Maradi, Niger Republic? Neglecting economically viable states in the Southern and eastern regions of Nigeria.

Not forgetting the series of railway lines to be built transversing Southwest states and Northwest states with money borrowed from China and to be repaid back with oil money from Niger Delta.

The Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano(AKK) Gas Pipeline Project to benefit the North Western region to revamp their industrial economy which will cost the nation $2.8b further plunging the country into avoidable and inexplicable debt that will further enslave us to China.

Is it the ports in SouthSouth and SouthEast that has been left to be redundant for lizards and cobwebs to take over which would have ease the Lagos port and also enhance economic and commercial activities in those regions. But, funds and infrastructures are being invested in the over-congested Lagos port.

And some non-performing governors in the SouthWestern will adduced their presumed good performance as evidence of good service delivery, oblivious of the over concentration of port activities which has given way to other auxiliary services that has been latched upon by residents within that region.

Now, can someone tell me what money has been borrowed either local or foreign by this APC government to revamp the economy of the SouthSouth and SouthEast regions who have the human resource capital to bring about genuine development?

The answer will obviously be in the negative. But, these regions are the regions especially the Niger Delta region that feeds this nation and at the same time their lands are left devastated, in ruins due to oil exploration activities by IOCs and government's security agencies crude and barbaric way of demobilizing presumed illegal oil refineries.

This would have been left to service other energy demands within their locality or even receive government support to indigenization of the petroleum refinery sector thereby reducing over dependence on imported refined petroleum products.

Are we saying the illegal mining of minerals in the North being carried out by people of their extraction, are they facing such acrimonious treated from the security agencies as it is being felt in the Niger Delta's presumed 'illegal' oil refinery?

A pertinent question begging for answers is how can someone from a different land come to land and tell me I don't have the right to make use of the resources found within my own land?

So what are the people of the Niger Delta getting from this contraption called Nigeria?

Certainly, there is a calculated clandestine mission by this disjunctive administration in conjunction with Southwest political cohorts to underdeveloped the South East and South South regions and some areas in the Middle-Belt region.

And true as we all know, the natural free born back stabbers and betrayers from the Southwest region of this country are obviously keeping mum.

A situation where over 1000 murdered in Southern Kaduna, over 700 lives snuffed out of defenceless indigenes of Agatu in Benue, or can we quickly forget the over 400 people of Plateau killed in the recent large scale killing spree that lasted for over seven (7) hours without any security presence in a country where the about twenty (20) security heads are from the Hausa-fulani extraction.

We need to begin right now to start telling our siblings, fathers, mothers, wards and friends the consequences of voting in this present government back to power.
