This is a very sensitive issue so lets not blaspheme!
Those of us that call ourselves Christians should be careful of what we say or post on Nairaland so that we don't mislead others. I don't no what to say again than to advice that we leave judgment for God.
Christianity EtcRe: Bishop Oyedepo Is Evil by StRichy(m): 11:27am On Jun 21, 2010
Every successful man of God in nigeria is often accused of being a false servant of God.
Those of us that call ourselves Christians should be careful of what we say or post on Nairaland so that we don't mislead others. I don't no what to say again than to advice that we leave judgment for God.

@poster and @Missy
u av both succeeded in forcing the tears that refused to drop from my eyes when i got my new year gift (heartbreak) from my fiance in Jan.
what made me emotional is the fact that i refused to let go until things became this bad. i used the Bishop Jakes's guide and by the grace of God, i didn't regret but thanked God that it Happened especially the way it did.

Bros u almost told the world my life history. Please i will like to get your permission to tell your story to millions of people that are not on nairaland. Mail full story to osarich4love@yahoo.co.uk if u consent.
HAPPY MARRIED LIFE!

PoliticsRe: Police Rifle Found At Akure Robbery Scene by StRichy(m): 10:08pm On Jun 19, 2010
kech:
Guys check this out. True story.
A friend's uncle was driving home very late when his car broke down on a bridge in Lagos (can't remember the name of the bridge) It was very late and no one was in sight so he decided to spend the night in his car till morning. He leaned back his drivers seat and slept off. He woke up about 30mins later when a police truck passed by and  parked in front of his car. The police men got out of the car and left. He didn't make anything of it until about another 30mins later, another car drove by and stopped; Some men got out of the car, went to the police truck, opened it, took out guns and drove off in the car they came with. After they left the poor man couldn't sleep again cos he was trying to figure out what was going on. He kept on thinking about the incident until about 2 hrs later, he heard a car coming. The people who came to pick up the guns came back to return the guns to the police truck and left. Some minutes later, the police men came back and drove off in their truck. It then dawned on him that these policemen had loaned their guns out for probably a robbery operation. Once it was dawn, my friends uncle left the scene immediately and went back later to get his car
just like what happened opposite my house earlier this years.

He is a graduate means that there is hope. In as much as he is seeking for employment, why not encourage him to look for a job even with a small salary rather than leave him. If he makes it big tomorrow, do you think he will run away (some men can do that but not all men are heartless). He may start with a teaching job since i know that there are many schools especially the private ones that are employing.
When will naija babes learn to sow on fertile grounds?
Besides if u desert him now, i bet a gal like u will fix him up and when u see him again u wish u never did.

RomanceRe: *our Young Wemen These Days Are So Tempramental--why?* by StRichy(m): 1:55pm On Jun 19, 2010
what else do u expect from pretty YOUNG girl that is being wooed by guys at her level and older ones as well as men that are as old as her father? isn't the disturbances and the physical depreciation in the worth of a man in their sight enough to arouse their temper?
And
what do you also expect from a girl (especially an ugly one) that spent time trying to look good yet all are efforts seem to be wasted wit no guy showing interest in her except in her younger sister or her best friend? isn't the frustration also enough to arouse their temper?
BESIDES THERE ARE TOO MANY CASES OF HEARTBREAK IN TOWN AS WELL AS LOVERS DAT WON'T STICK TO ONE GAL.
The reason is simple. EMOTIONAL STRESS!

i was at the robbery scene yesterday. i saw blood! as at yesterday people still clustered around the scene all in great surprise.
As for the police rifle, its true that some policemen "lease" their arms out. I ran into them earlier this year in such transaction. i was so shocked that i didn't know what measure to use in getting them apprehended because of the short time frame. May God Help the NPForce!

RomanceHELP! I'M IN A DILEMMA by StRichy(op): 5:18pm On Jun 18, 2010
As an only son in the midst of 4 girls, i was instructed by my mum not to marry a non native of my tribe during my undergraduate days. This made me to "tie" myself to a girl from a neighboring village and my family accepted her. I loved her so much that i did not give room to any side attraction all d years we spent together. Trouble broke in december when i went to see her parents on my intention to take her to the alter and they accepted. Unknown to me she had a different plan and she suddenly broke our engagement (she returned the ring and a letter to my neighbour  when i traveled out of town). Although we didn't quarrel, she concluded the letter asking me not to ever call her number for any reason.
I thought i won't be able to love someone else as i loved her until i met this lady. She said that I'm very caring and romantic. She treats me the way i have actually dreamt of that i gave in. I announced to my family to expect a wife from the East and they accepted (including my mother).
The problem now is that despite the QUALITY and MAGNITUDE of Love that we have for each other, our genotype,  is AS. Recently I ASKED HER AND INSISTED WE GO FOR LAB. TEST.  How do we part in the midst of this kind of love? And what do i do to make myself Happy ONCE AGAIN?
Please help with your good counsel.
RomanceRe: At What Age Should A Guy Be Independent by StRichy(m): 9:26am On Jun 15, 2010
axeman85:
It all depends on the individual. i personally left home at a tender age of i think 18 or so and i practically became independent from there coupled with the fact i went to a boarding school, but i would say as soon as the guy, is emotionally, financially, and spiritually matured enough then thats fine, for me i was properly independent at the 21.

NOte: living in your fathers boys quarters or buying a car whilst still living in your folks house doesnt make you independent.
i support ur points. being independent takes more than just being financially stable.

CultureRe: Why Aren't Women Allowed To Build Houses Or Own Property? by StRichy(m): 8:23pm On May 19, 2010
In benin, many women ar property owners against this dreaded tradition. In yr 2008 my mum opted 2 own a house of her own. She didn't tell my dad untill after buying d plot of land.
She called me and said she had a suprise 4me. When i returned, she showed the documents and i was upset and traveled back 2my base. My dad felt bad and it took God's intervention 2 restore peace in the family.
Wen i later interogated her she said she did it for my sake as her only son since i av a step broda older than i am. Up till now i delibrately refused to visit its location.
CultureRe: What Is So Wrong With Being Left Handed by StRichy(m): 7:19pm On May 19, 2010
If i must sound professional, it is not wise for someone residing in nigeria to be left handed. This is because d ERGONOMIC Considerations employed in the design of machines, equipments as well as systems available 4 use in nigeria ar easily manipulated by a right handed operator. How can a left handed person work conviniently in a mechanical or in a production engr.g workshop?
Observably is the fact that left handed people work wit the principle of slow and steady.
CultureRe: What Is So Wrong With Being Left Handed by StRichy(m): 6:15pm On May 19, 2010
Wen i was a child, my father ensured dat i stop d use of left hand wen performing essential tasks and i did d same 2 my younger sisters. I discovered dat litle children always prefer using dier left hand. For me, i am yet 2 access tangeable traditional fact(s) condemning using left hand.
I am right handed yet i typed dis msg wit my left hand.
