Hi everyone it’s been 5 weeks since I went for my AD, so last week I emailed this address zzVISABVA@bva.bund.de and got this reply
“Dear Madam, dear Sir,

at immigration office (Ausländerbehörde) the processing of your visa-application is completed.

The Embassy/Consulate has to make the final decision.

For further information please contact the Embassy/Consulate.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Yours sincerely”
Please has anyone one received this reply before or does anyone know if it means the visa processing is done?
5weeks? Calm down, you will get your AM. My husband waited for 13weeks before he got his last Friday.
Don’t worry yourself, just make preparations

12th week no AM….still waiting
Travel / Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by stripes16(f): 9:14am On Aug 09, 2023
If you are in Cat B and you have not applied for visa, to be honest you will need to defer your admission. Going to Germany is not feasible this year at all. Getting AD takes up to 18months now. I will advise you apply for AD now then reach out to the school to defer your admission
myrealjay:
Please I just got admission in Germany and I have not applied for visa. From what I see I should be in category B. What should I do? The letter said I should have completed in person enrollment by 30th Nov and it’s Chemnitz university.

My hubby booked Feb 20 2022, got AD for June 1, 2023. He is waiting for AM since then.
What could be the reason for this delay? Winter semester starts in October
Travel / Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by stripes16(f): 9:18am On May 06, 2023
He booked on 14th. Which Private Universities offer admission fast
John854:
He can try contacting the school that sent him the last admission letter and explain things to them, they may be understanding and send a new admission letter. Or try out private universities they respond faster. If you want to reschedule your appointment do it on time. Please which date in February last year did he book ?
Travel / Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by stripes16(f): 1:58am On May 06, 2023
My husband applied for Student's visa appointment since February 2022, He got a date for 1st of June but no admission. We dont know what to do at this point. The admission he got last year had no option for deferral. We have applied to several schools for Winter session but no response yet. If he cancels the appointment and reschedules we dont know how long it will take to get another date. Is there a University in Germany that is fast with admissions process? Any ideas please

Guys please I'm still unable to schedule an interview appointment. Now I can't even login to CGI portal, it keeps giving me an error message that my login attempt has failed. Make sure the username and password are correct. I'm very sure I used the right one. Infact I tried changing password and it failed us. Please guys what do I do, time is running out

Kay100:
Good morning, pls will dates open up for "previously refused" at Lagos consulate today?

Thank you

grin grin

Get your Visa first before you travel

Like I said, pick a date .. Other dates will open up for July and August most likely.

You can always request for Extension from your school or do emergency request for an earlier interview.

Hi, please I plan to travel second week in August and the earliest date I can see for Lagos is 23rd of August, school starts on the 12th.

Pick any date you see for Lagos.

Dates will open up.

We are just in June.

Please guys I'm unable to get an available date in July for a visa interview in Lagos. What can I do? I've been checking since yesterday. It's just Abuja that is available and I don't have anywhere to stay

I really appreciate you guys. Here goes my transcript

Vo: Good morning
Res: Good morning sir
Vo: Pass me your passport and I-20 pls
Vo: Have you traveled on another passport before?
Res: no sir
Vo: can I have the passport
Res: I said no sir
Vo: oh sorry I didn't hear that clearly. Why are you going to Austin Peay?
Res: Am going for my masters in computer science and quantitative methods with a concentration in information assurance and security but on my l-20 it was written there as Data modeling...(he didn't allow me to finish the statement)
Vo: that's ok. How do you want to pay for the cost?
Res: I was offered a graduate assistantship that waived my entire tuition with monthly stipend the rest of the cost will be taking care by my uncle who's into importation trading and distribution of LG brand both home appliances and electronics. I have his statement here with me
Vo: that's OK... I won't be needing the statement. The assistantship has covered everything. Where did you finish your undergraduate (I guess he asked that because I couldn't enter my educational history on my ds 160 when I was filling it. I don't know why the part is not coming up on my system.)
Res: Osun State University.

Vo: Why do you choose Austin Peay State University?
Res: I chose Austin Peay State University because they offered broad courses in information assurance and security. Their program incorporate field work with basic course. For example.. (he stopped me here)
Vo:thats OK. How did you get this assistantship?
Res: I applied then I was scheduled for a Skype interview, a week after the interview I received an email from the department that based on my performance during the interview, my gre scores, my undergraduate cgpa and recommendations, the department was willing to offer me the assistantship.
Vo: what do u intend to do after your study?
Res : ( but I thought he asked what the degree will do for me, so responded with this with the look of things in Nigeria cyber crime and attacks are becoming common place, sophisticated and damaging. Every organisation has (he stopped me and asked again)
Vo: what do you intend to do after your study?
Res: I'll be coming back to Nigeria to enforce whatever have learnt because there's a huge demand for cybersecurity experts here in Nigeria. A lot of organization outsource for this skill because its professional expertise... (he stopped me here, thats OK)

After this he started typing non stop and said the word *your visa has been approved, you will need your l-20 at the port of entry bla bla.
I collected my passport today.
Guy please I need your advise. I helped a friend verify his WAEC result and paid for posting to WES through UPS. 3weeks later, I visited ups website to check the status with the tracking number I was given by the agent but it was still saying last activity was in Ontario Canada pending. I contacted the agent and she told me to contact WES if the package was delivered to them. I sent a mail to WES with the tracking number I was given, still not gotten a response for over a week now. I don't have a number I can contact WES with. All other documents sent after then through another courier service has been verified except the WAEC result. Please what do I do
