OK, I'm not in support or against the girl or Jamb, but however Jamb could have handled the matter better than they did, I feel they shouldn't have been accusing the girl directly of forging her result, the moment they started doing that they whipped up emotions of people who came to support her, like how how would old and matured men be accusing a young girl who they were not sure if she was involved in any forgery at all.

They should have simply said they did not know where she got the result from and that they sympathize with whatever trauma she has experienced getting a fake result, that they have investigated it and the error did not come from their end....

But to come on live TV and be accusing a small child of forgery without concrete evidence of her involvement is harsh

JAMB has been around since 1978 and I think the board need to change certain things.

1. Exams should be conducted more than once in a year. At least 4 times in a year. This will afford people with low scores the opportunity to rewrite the exam without having to wait for one year.

2. The results should be valid for a minimum of 4 years, which is the average duration of a degree course in Nigeria.

3. The exam should be standardized and percentile rankings of candidates should be displayed. This will ensure that the performance of a candidate relative to others who sat for the exam is known.

4. Admission into University, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, and Colleges of Education should be based on the percentile rankings.
75th percentile should be the minimum requirement for University admission;
60th for Colleges of Education that run 3-year programmes;
50th for Polytechnics and Monotechnics.

5. No 4 will ensure that only relatively intelligent people are trained as University students.
It will also ensure that creative, crafty and technically minded people, an ability which is not tested in JAMB exams, are admitted into Polytechnics.
Teachers are in between.

This are the changes I hope to see. They are what I will effect if I ever become the JAMB Registrar, Minister of education or President of Nigeria.

There are so much fraud in Nigerian exam systems. Even waec. Many exams in Nigeria are compromised.

And the girl is obviously lying in this case.
The cheating is one thing, it’s another thing to do cover ups and trying to manipulate the public in defending your fraud. Only grand master manipulators do that.

Rather than flogging the issue, they should better keep quiet and let it die down. The more attention they draw to the fraud, the more eyes on it and it will jeopardize her future

I think this is the way to go in order to unravel the circumstances behind the alleged score inflation. Questions should be asked and answered viz: did the girl physically or remotely manipulated JAMB's system/server?, was it a case of external scores manipulation?, is there insider job? or can system glitch cause the error. A holistic approach has to be taken in order to fathom what actually transpired. All these fire brigade "quasi-investigation" will not be efficacious. Jamb has to recuse themselves while a thorough-bred professional investigative body takes over the investigation. Thus, emotions should be held back while discreet investigation hinged on professional backing is deployed to find the puzzle once and for all.

Here’s what really played out
1. Mmesoma Ejikeme Doctored her result (through illegal means like photoshop or editing app)
2.theres no evidence she printed the results from jamb site and nobody hacked jamb site to doctor the results.
3.her fake result is not valid anywhere because she can’t use it to gain admission; all original jamb results are sent to individual schools picked by the candidate.

For people saying JAMB should have known or something

Jamb can’t know what one Mr. Adekunle or Emeka is typing on a plain sheet of paper in his cyber cafe to give to his customer
