PietraK:You want to believe in God - a creator god? Fine. But why not simply believe that and live your life normally without the baggage like daily kneeling, worship, exaltations and the whole shebang that comes with the Christian god. Since you're convinced the Abrahamic deity is man-made, I see no reason why you should still hang on to 'I need to serve god.' Outside the religious gods, do you know of any other god that demands to be served? Unless you want to try other religions outside Islam and Christianity. |
I'm not sure you said much in your epistle except voicing your hatred for the Abrahamic god. In the first place you said you believe in miracles but not in the Abrahamic god. This begs the question which god do you believe in that isn't another religious god? The god you described is synonymous to the Christian and Muslim deity. Correspondingly you said you really want to serve god at the concluding part of your post. This is a testament to my earlier point about you rejecting the Abrahamic god but indirectly seeking out for the same deity. Think of it this way. Which of the gods wants to be worshipped and served? Why do you feel obliged to serve a god? Why not live your life believing in some kind of creator god without feeling like you owe him/her something or he/she is in your debt? Why do you have to reject the Abrahamic god and create another similar god in your head? |
BlowBack:You're making a good case for slavery in Islamic text but the problem is there's a tinge of prejudice in your arguments - heaping the whole blame on Islam and exonerating Christianity as the spearhead of abolitionism is the height of dishonesty. Even evangelical theologian John Stott admitted “Although slavery of different kinds and degrees was universal in the ancient world, it is inexcusable that the professedly Christian nations of Europe (Spain and Portugal, Holland, France and Britain) should have used this inhuman practice to meet the labour needs of their New World colonies.” |
This gurl/guy - Op - has become a menace in this section horrifying people with her fuc`ked fanciful tales in a bid to gain cheap virtual fame. She would have created a better fiction if she knew how big a crowd of 400 people is |

hopefulLandlord:You cracked me up with this. They automatically assume the cause of the universe - if there's one - is the Jewish 'dickish' tribal god, Yahweh ![]() |
Proudgorgeousga:But Ebuka worships at chosen church and also believes in a god who interferes via miracles and whatnot. Truth is, the weasel is a nuthead Christian fundamentalist. He deceitfully argues for the deist god 'cause of the stupid and idiotic nature of the Bible god. Lol |
Dalam0n: ![]() Dude might be a doctor of pigs. |
Most Christians are aware of the bully they called a god, but they can't question because of fear - you know Yahweh got a long rap for gratuitous killings, so getting on his black book is not a good idea. Lol I should say this without equivocation, should the Bible god turned out to be real - the possibility is less than 0.1, I'd stick up my middle finger and flip him off. I'm fully aware he'd kill me afterwards, but I'd rather die than worship him for all the atrocities he committed in the Bible. One of early founding fathers while Christianity doctrines was being drafted argued for the removal of the old testament god from their religion. Sadly, he lost the argument, and that happened to be their bane today - having to defend a malevolent dick like Yahweh daily. |
superhumanist:Obviously religious gods are all man-invented - you don't need to be omniscience to know they don't exist. When I said God in my post, I was referencing a possible creator god - one who wish to be unseen. Maybe there is one, maybe there's not - we don't know this for certain, hence agnostics. We can either believe or disbelieve in its existence. So what I'm saying in essence is an atheist, just like a theist, is agnostic - though doesn't believe in god, can not know for certain there's not one. Some foolish and uninformed Christians assumes Agnosticism is on the belief spectrum. To this dunderheads, you can't be an agnostic when you're a theist or atheist. My post was to correct that misconception, because in the actual sense, everybody is agnostic to god. |
Technically everybody is agnostic - both theists and atheists. Nobody can know for certain or make conclusive claims about god existence or inexistence - not even the theist or the so-called gnostic atheists. In fact I think it's just a blatant display of arrogance to claim to know there's a god or there's not one. So we're left with belief. You either believe or you don't. Agnosticism doesn't equate to sitting on the fence - it's simply the position of every person towards God. The question that ascertain one's label - theism or atheism - is a simple one: DO YOU BELIEVE IN GOD? It's not surprising people are not asked "do you know about God existence?" because it's a useless question - we're all agnostics. Anybody tagging himself gnostic or whatever is just being plain stupid and arrogant. |
That's how it's supposed to be. Most churches in Netherlands have been converted to nightclubs. We'll get there soon. |
You'd be doing a disservice to your efforts at exposing falsehoods if none of Oladegbu (forgive my spelling) threads made the list. |
Lol. No be only archangel, na arch-leprechaun |

TheCarpenter:Better leave Darwin go read Dawkins or Neil Shubin's book. You'll enjoy newer books on evolution than Darwin's Victorian writing. Besides Darwin knoweth no DNA. |
See, this confirms you hardly - or never - see any supernatural feats when cameras are involved. The two clowns who claims to be delivering the mad woman looks like some upcoming Nollywood actors. I could feel their frustration at that point where the guy in blue pants almost crushed the loon with his knees. ![]() I expected the two clowns to pick the woman and drop her off in a mental home, instead they chose to act according to their religious whims - which I'm sure poisons everything. |
Ericsunday619: ![]() Deal with 'em yourself; you didn't seek their approval before opening the thread. Besides, Christianity has one of the silliest doctrines, you shouldn't need no help. On a side note, are you YahwehPenis? |
bennyann:You're a smart lady Ann. I bet you only say dumb s`hits whenever you defend stupid stories. In this regard, I'd suggest you stop making apologetics for nonsensical stories abounded in the Bible. On a light note, how was service today? ![]() |
bennyann:What's this hot pile of nonsense you wrote? How did it address my post in anyway? I bet you don't know the implications of omniscience. Can an omniscient god be emotional? Can he/she be extremely pleased? Why was Yahweh so surprised that Abraham passed his test if he has foreknowledge of the whole thing? I'm guessing this is the part where you'd refer me to the cosmic promiscuous guy call holey spirit ![]() |
HopefulLandlord na one smart weasel. See as he deftly avoided this thread despite the mention from OP ![]() BTW is there anyone else who thinks OP is YahwehPenis? |

Lol. You're not a misotheist. You're a kind of antitheist. A misotheist hates God(s). They accept the existence of god but hates whoever or whatever god is. You can't be arguing against the existence of Yahweh and then turn around to say you hate him. |
bennyann:More nail to your apologetic coffin. Yahweh was very pleased when Abraham passed his test. He was so surprised - which defeat the omniscient argument. The blessing he spoke of was a consequence of Abraham action which he wasn't privy to before then. Look at what your Bible has to say again. Verse 15,16,17,18 The angel of the LORD called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, “I swear by myself, declares the LORD, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.” The impromptu blessing defeats your argument. Yahweh tested Abraham to know his level of faith because he's not omniscient. He wouldn't be so joyed if he already knew Abraham was gonna obey and proceed to kill Isaac. Christians shot themselves the day they ascribed omni-qualities to their deity. |
bennyann:The boldfaced is complete nonsense by all standards. You Christians say all sorts of things - not minding how contradictory it is - to rationalize the BULLSHIT in your 'holey' book. Now let's look at what the Bible said about Abraham test. Verse 12 "Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.” From the above verse, it's so clear that Yahweh tested Abraham just to know his level of faith. If he has foreknowledge of the event - like you guys claim - he wouldn't have said "now I know" Y'all should stop all these terrible apologetics and acknowledge the fact that Yahweh is not omniscient - even when you use the Bible as a frame of reference. |
