Iwobi needs to be absolved of defensive responsibilities, what has Iheanacho done so far

Benin score with a home advantage, there's no way that game continues if we are at home

Inheanacho can as well play from there too. I believe they are trying to exploit Iheanacho's wing since they know all eyes will be on Lookman. Iheanacho can assist from there, he can pull out a screamer, he can as well interchange positions with iwobi , when it's a counter for us.
It's not like he's been doing it for Sevilla, but let's see

Starting XI according to owngoalnigeria

Stanley Nwabali
Osho + Ekong + Bassey
Aina + Ndidi + Iwobi + Onyemaechi
Iheanacho + Osimhen + Lookman
I don’t see the use of Iheanacho if Iwobi will play in a two man midfield, Moses Simon can atleast fill up the space left by Iwobi if he is drawn towards the 18 yard box, Iheanacho is just useless

Before our match, let's all do this quiz about Victor Osimhen, no cheating, no Google, no Wikipedia, just try your best... Quote this post with the screenshot of your result 😎

They're all the same questions, so no spoiling of the answers here 😁 Just screenshot 😏

That's my result below. The last two questions caught me off guard.

Not bad, I thought Osimhen has played more games with Dries Mertens and I thought he had won more than one career trophy

I like the second one too, and truly it disadvantages Lookman a bit, but not totally because I've watched him and Retegui play together at the front and he delivered his polling unit, Osimhen too has played with Icardi in front and he delivers his polling unit steadily.

Lastly, Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen have good chemistry and will trouble defences if they pair, with an Iwobi behind them giving those sexy penetrating passes, I believe goals should rain 🌧️🌧️
Exactly, Lookman can then feed off Osimhen's battles with defenders, I'm not against it at all

I like the second one better, though it disadvantages Lookman but Iwobi must always be in the middle

With Victor Osimhen's brace yesterday, he became the first player in history to be involved in nine goals in his first six games in the Turkish league.

Additionally, Osimhen set a new milestone by becoming the first player to score the most headed goals in his first six appearances in the Turkish league [3 HGs, 1 LFG, 2 RFGs]

Built different 👑🦁🇳🇬

I was not my making a comparison of f Turkish league Vs Scottish league.

Just saying that the Turkish retirement league has now all of a sudden become too quality because VO is there
Why were you calling the Turkish league the retirement league if you weren't comparing them, I'm sure you would have pulled out excel sheet if Scottish league was one point above the Turkish league hypocrite

Recently, Scottish teams are doing well than the Turkish team in Europe.

In fact, Ranger is ranked higher than any Turkish team though Turkish league is ranked higher
So Rangers is a big team in a small league?

It's not entirely about Maja, Tolu, it's about the callup of Sodiq Umar, cos he had not be playing compare to Dessers
I agree that Sadiq should not be invited but Maja and Tolu have more case for that vacant spot

Sir you remember we do have then Balogun,Aribo and Bassey from Scottish league in our starting eleven.

Are you saying Sadiq,Awoniyi and Iheanacho do deserves eagles call ups than Dessers at the moment
I'm not saying Dessers shouldn't be called up but the numbers he is putting up in comparison to his league is not outstanding, Maja, Tolu have more impressive numbers in better leagues

But VO stats in the Turkish retirement league have now become the benchmark for quality football ⚽.

The hypocrisy and double standard here are limitless.
Turkish league is far more competitive than the Scottish league and VO still has better stats there, imagine calling Turkish league the retirement league and the league you are defending is the Scottish league

Overlooking his past performances in the GWG Sadiq Umar is a Real Sociedad striker so his invite is not out of place

I see some of our influencers and celebrities are starting to create a private league called 'Lagos Liga' I think that would be one of the best things to happen to Nigerian football because all private sectors go further than our government sectors

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that proposition, better players tend up in better club's it's that simple.

Poor quality player's end up in lower level clubs.

Football ⚽ is not just statistics alone and in this regard Doku is better than Moses Simon IMO.
I know if I search your posts I will see were you are using statistics to disparage one of our home grown players

Doku was never world class, apart from one v one dribbling, I struggle to see where he is better than Moses Simon
