TheGoodJoe:
The intelligence of Solanke

I just want to talk about what thrilled me about Soalnke's goal last week. He scored from a follow up from a corner kick.

What I found exciting was the intelligence which I have praised him a lot for over the years was still adapted to how he approached a corner kick.

When it was time for the corner kick, most people will go battling for suitable positions to get to the ball after the cross kick.

However, Solanke stood away from the crowded area and waited. After the ball was crossed, he watched for the first contact which was fortunately from a teammate, then he pounced on the ball, slotting it in.

I hope to see other goal scoring players adopt this kind of approach and Solanke is certainly a player I will be watching a lot for the rest of the season.
Is it intelligence or goal scoring instincts, many intelligent players won't pick that position

A 17 year old, a Moroccan and a Nigerian Beast.

Most ground duels won in Europe Big 5 leagues.
What does ground duels even mean because I don't believe Yamine Lamal is that strong to win balls over his opponents more than some DMs and Center backs

he’s 27 and warming bench in Chelsea , he knows England is a closed chapter
He's not warming bench at Chelsea, they've only played 5 games and he has started one of them, this is the peak of his career and he will employ any shenanigans to get the attention of the English FA

Adarabioyo and Tammy Abraham are two fools that have used Nigeria as bait but English FA are not looking there way, don't be surprised if he's playing these tricks ahead of the International window

I'm sorry but Vic Boniface isn't really smart, yes he's a talanted player, but he just lacks that fundamental basic education and situational intelligence football players need to avoid saying dumb things on the media that could affect their careers. Does he actually have a PR media person that advices him on some of these silly rhetorics he does? He really needs to STFU and focus on his football.
Boniface and Osimhen, no matter how high you reach your education (or lack of) will still play an important part in every decision you make

Lol 2022 youth Tom Dele-Bashiru still has a higher transfer value than current Fisayo

Always thought Tom Dele-Bashiru was the more talented of the two brothers (he probably is) maybe Dele-Bashiru just had the better luck.
Tom dele is more talented no doubt but where Fisayo trumps him is hardwork, funny enough I never rated Fisayo in his youth days

It's not a case of dropping form, he doesn't have the necessary physical requirements to play at an elite level

I disagree please. You tend to expend less energy when you're sitting deep. Yesterday, Bashiru ventured forward too often (especially to the RW) leaving Ndidi to hold the middle on his own. Something Iwobi rarely do.
Frank and Iwobi held down a 2-man midfield against the likes of Ivory Coast, South Africa, Cameroun and co, these two deserve a lot of respect

I have never seen Ademola Lookman play in the manner he did yesterday.
Offensively and defensively he was everywhere.
He played the same way in the Afcons even in the Europa league final, I think over the last two years he has gained some maturity in his game

My boy is good o oga subzero….Abi you no follow him for EPL…he singlehandedly saved Forest from relegation 22/23 season but injury dealt with him seriously last season
How about the matches he played for Nigeria since then, how has he been this season, he is a decent striker but I'm picking Boniface over him anyday

You so stuck with rules

We are talking of play so far you're mentioning him for Bayern

What's our business if he plays for Bayern
We are talking of a national team match we're watching with our eyes and u are saying he should remain on the pitch because he plays for Bayern

Does that even make sense ?

AE really need to grow balls and call up players that can give him results irrespective of where they plays.
I don’t care about the rules but Boniface is better than Awoniyi, atleast Boniface offers movement

We are overloading the wings and it is not working because we don't have a central presence. We should be playing W type passes in the middle instead, that is where Boniface shines like at Leverkusen.
Exactly, Chukwueze is hugging the touchline, for what? I would suggest replacing him with Iheanacho atleast he crashes the box
