Nchabuomo: If the husband is on a ban then perhaps he shouldn't apply as he will most likely be refused.
They can wait for him to serve out the ban. Thanks for the response as this is actually what I think too. However, if there’s an alternative opinion, I am open to it too. God bless you for your time! |

Success2011: Greetings all. I need to confirm something. A lady wants to apply for MSc in the UK and she wants to add her husband and 2 kids as dependents. However, the said husband is on a-10 year ban that will expire in 2 years. Will this said ban pose a problem for their applications? Thank you gurus in the house. Please, someone should respond. |

What about other supporting documents I might need for the application? I don’t seem to know the documents you’ve already gathered. |

IamDavidJames: So I should put the budget to be around £1,500 right? As far as you’ve accommodation and feeding, your budget should not be more than £800! Try to work around a budget of £800. |

Greetings my good people.
My friend in the UK wants to invite the mom to the UK. At the moment, her residence permit has expired though she has paid and applied for residence permit renewal but it’s been months and the authorities have not issued the requested document. Can she still invite the mom over given the above situation?
Gurus, please respond |

Please someone should respond. Thank you Success2011: Greetings to everyone in this wonderful family.
My cousin alongside her kids did their biometrics on the 9th of December, 2020 and UKVI sent acknowledgment emails that applications have been received.
14th December 2020: An email came in from Sheffield that IHS payment is needed for the kids, as the system seemingly exempted them(kids) during the process of completing and submitting the visa forms. IHS payments were made same day and acknowledgment emails received.
19th January, 2021: This email came up: “ Thank you for your online application which has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer”.
Up till now, no further information and the tracking still show that the applications are still with DMC.
Please, gurus what’s the best step we should take? Thanks in advance |

My cousin just paid her Settlement Visa Fee but when directed to the TLS APPOINTMENT BOOKING PORTAL SHE COULDNOT FIND THE OPTION FOR ASSISTED SETTLEMENT SERVICE. THE PLAN IS TO PAY THE £75 SERVICE CHARGE SO THAT HER SPOUSE CAN SEND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS TO THE UK SCANNING HUB. BUT THE WHOLE THING HAS BEEN FRUSTRATING HER SINCE YESTERDAY. PLEASE, SOMEONE SHOULD KINDLY HELP OUT. |

Do you fund the Paga account or the app can be linked to to your personal commercial bank account? dubaiprince: I will strongly recommend paga. I paid my IHS and visa fee yesterday using it. By my calculation, the exchange rate used was 383 naira to 1 dollar. This is the cheapest around. When you get to the payment page, just select visa and click the back button, you will see paga verve, you would also see paga, select paga you will then login with your paga credentials (I would advice you open a paga account, it operates just like a normal savings account) and simply use a click to pay. |
