Ok it was 2009 , a friend from yankee informed me he sent a 2001 Honda accord ( baby boy ) , when he sent the photos of the car , it was super clean , I happen to be close friend with his best friend in Lagos so he asked me to pay his friend who was also my friend/boss 1.190m , as my first car I quickly transferred the money to my friend/boss , car was to land in 3 weeks ,
I waited for 4 week before I got it , and when i got it , and used it for a week , my yankee friend got in town and asked to use the car for run around, ( he didnt return the car for 4 days) when I reached out to him , he said my boss which was his friend only gave him 400k , I had to go get the then deposit slip I used to send his money and informed him it was none of my business since we both agreed i pay my boss the said amount , was after many talks the seller asked that I pay extra 200k which I refused , I was young ( 25) and my friends were 36 ( my boss ) and 37 the seller , I was angry cuz it seems they want to take advantage , but was advised to pay the 200k , I did and got my car , but I was surprised how my boss spent the money , I found out that he camped his girlfriend in a hotel , like she was living in an hotel , and he paid her lodge for over 9 months , he got broke and used the money I gave him to pay , he goes to the hotel from work then go home very late , and he was married 2 kids , pretty woman ooo , u need to see the monkey he was lodging , I was disappointed , I wanted to resign but he pleaded and I forgave him , his marriage didnt last tho , but I stop giving friends my car , used the car for about 1 year and half and sold it 870k on nairaland ......
