If u check it, majority of these married men are the ones chasing the single girls, not the other way round. In any case, some girls find more security dating a married man, at least u know the deal and prepare your mind, unlike with most single/guys/playas who pretend till they get what they want.

I see ur point now. Yes, being hurt or betrayed by friends or a lover before can contribute to someone trying to avoid forming social relationships. Such people have acquaintances, colleagues etc but never keep real friends who can get too close and betray them again. It's called self-preservation, and I really can't blame you. Check it and you'll see that most girls that have a load of girlfriends arethe backstabbing kind that like to move in packs. It's not because they are extroverts but because they can never stand on their own. It just pays to keep to yourself sometimes. Go out once in a while, but noone should try and wedge themselves into your space. Maybe someday you'll find someone, friend or lover who can bring you out of your shell. Till then, enjoy the sweet solitude.

aint nuthing wrong with you having your "me" time - but it shouldn't be all the time. Like someone said, it might be a sign that something's wrong. As for me, I enjoy my own company a lot, in fact I enjoy it much more when I'm alone than when I'm surrounded by people: then I can read, write, watch TV, do chores or what ever u can't do when someone else is invading your privacy. My brother used to call me "self-absorbed" which I guess is his nice way of saying I only care about myself. Not true. I'd be happy when I'm with my husband and kids, I'll be sociable enuf to them . But please don't ask me to go visiting or surround myself with friends 'cos that aint my thing. You do what u got to do babe.

Sissy, Sasha009, biina, you guys spoke well. Oyinks, it's sad to feel unpretty due to some physical imperfections, esp in a world where there is so much stock put on looks and beauty.
