ah! Olenyi time is extraordinary.

olenyi: How many dishes are using. First of all, go to menu - system settings - factory reset. Enter four zero's if pin required.

Afterwards, if u are using two or more dishes, go outside and check which diseqc port number is connected to which satellite. (if u have any dish dat looks like its facing up, dats for multi tv. If dia's one dat is almost vertical, dat one is for emmanuel tv and co. So note the port numbers on the diseqc switch)

Not put on ur receiver, press menu, press ok, enter 4 zero's if required. Select dish settings if u are using more dan one dish. Scroll through the satellite names until u get to ''astra 2abd''. Go to disqc settings and set the port number for multitv first. Afterwards press exit once.

(If u're using one dish or after the above procedure)

Scroll down to manual scan. Check the satellite name for astra 2abd. Go down to frequency and press ''0''. Select edit and enter 12523 for frequency, 19531 for symbol rate and ''v'' or ''h'' for polarization depending on how ur dish was set. It should change to green now. Press ok to scan. Exit afterwards.

If u have two dishes and u were getting emmanuel tv before, now repeat above instructions but dis time look for ''intelsat 7/10 ku'' and set the diseqc port number. Go to manual scan and scan these frequencies

Echika China: Please, I need your help, I have strong decoder 4669 11, I use to watch multi tv. During the change of frequency on 27 nov, I did as they instructed by putting 12522 V 19531, .... I did manual scan and got 16 station. This is the first time I ever entered the setting area of the decoder, . I enjoyed the 16 stations for 2days and the all disappeared, all became red, after some time, I got frustrated and went to the dish setting and put the 12522 V 19531. I also did same for motorised setting, PID scan and OTA menu.
Since then, all my multi tv remained red. I am confused, I dont even know the numbers that I deleted in order to put this new one. Like I said, this is the first time that I ever entered the installation area of the decoder. l will appreciate any help. what should I do.

ota, pid scan should be left as they are and go to manual scan and input this tp12523v19531 pres exit to save nd blindscan. provided the already installed dish has not been touched.

olenyi: Rdv is on ew3c @ 16'e. Track with 11124 h 03333 fine tune to the highest % possible and blindscan. (12563 H 29999) Regards.

If u havent tracked it before, here's how.

For rdv, first get multitv on 12523 v 19531. Fine tune to the highhest %. Den input 11024 h 03333 and standing behind the dish, raise it up alittle and to ur right. Play around dia and u should hit pay dirt. Fine tune it well and blind scan. U should get not less dan 70 channels on dat location alone. Revert back here if u hit any difficulty. Regards.

olenyi: Take ur tv outside with ur decoder. Power it on. Now go to rdv and press the info button twice. Note the signal strienght. Now with ur eyes on the percentage, try pushing ur dish,first up, down, left, right, noting if theres a place where the percentage will go up a bit. Now use a screw driver and loosen the lnb holder just a bit and try rotating it, first clockwise, den anti clockwise. The place where u get the highest percentage, leave it dia and tighten it back. Den if u noticed a slight increase in the signal while u were pushing the dish, loosen the dish A BIT, and adjust to bring up the signal. Finally tighten everything back. (Now that is what is known as tweaking). Blindscan to see if the channels on amos 5 will come up. If they didn't, u'll have to do what i told u before which is;

Pidzo: Check for Astra 4A (close to W3a) in your dish setting. Usually this satellite doesnt appear as Sirius 4 in receivers. If there is no Astra 4A use any KU band satellite, input the details manually and it will work.

It means changing the software version in your receiver. Different software versions have different features and depending on your needs you may need to change.

2baga: @ all pls help i mistakenly deleted ALL channel on my JOYTV to make matters worse i'v changed the satellite settings in an attempt to correct it but thank God i neva touch the dish and lnb, pls house help restore my (joy) i use srt 69. thx
