upright2010: Can somebody pls help me. 1. I tracked daarsat with 11884v27500 and after blind scan all d expected 16e & 17e channels didnt come up but some scrambled ones. Kindly help. 2. Are there any fta channels on w3a/astra4 &33e and ar they on mpeg 2

track daarsat with mpeg4 reciever.
W3a works on mpeg2.

obnelly: If you have little knowledge about tracking with small dish up to 1.8m motorising big dish shouldnt be headache.first make sure your pole is plume @ 90 degrees .GO to satellite that is close to your latitude here in nigeria the satellites that are close to us are rascom,sirus and eutelsat w3a.among the three satellites sirus 4.8e is easy to track.

start by declining your angle adjuster at the neck of your pole mount,while doing that move your dish up and down till you have signal pop up on your screen.Make sure you have full signal.
go to the next satellite that is next i.e eutelsat w3a.get good signal there too and move to hotbird ,from this bird move to eutelsat 16e to badr and astra 28 .it means you are almost done with eastern satellite move up to your west and track western satellite from sirus4.8e move to rascom to atlantic bird 3 to nilsat to ab7 then to nss7 you may move further to hispasat and intelsat 31.5 depending on what you are looking for.While doing all these you must know how to skew your lnb to gain maximum signal strength .also you must understand how the neck of your dish behave to signal while tighten it.Do everything gradually ,dont rush at the end you will enjoy it all.

You can get Silverbird Tv, CCTV news with MPEG 2 but you need an MPEG4 receiver for CNN, TBN, Aljazeera, etc.

I said this much in my earlier post announcing the package.

Also, they are not tied to DSTV. They are only on the same bird with DSTV which is Eutelsat 36A/36B.

I have tracked amos 5 @ 17e, i want to add Badr 5 @ 26e,pls how do i easily do that on 60cm dish and the working TP.

Badr@26e requires bigger dish and not 60 or 90cm dish.

obnelly: Intelsat ban iran tv from transmitting via satellite starting from today.lovers of iran channels like presstv should move to amos or hotbird.it meand people from america wont be able to receive press tv until further notice.

the one on amos was also scrambled when i tried it in the morning before i left home but don't know how it is now untill when i get home.

Just rescan only 12523v19531 and you wil also get discovery channel in addition.

No need once u get 17e, then 16e is certain. even u can track all 3 three birds one a 90cm dish and thereafter u use ur 60cm dish for mytv.

Stv is abbreviated as "silverbird" it is on dstv@36 degree east.

are u connected to the disecq, if yes, then check ur connection the disecq port might damage. if u didn't connect to the disecq, your dish might dis-aligne.

at your own risk how? are they prone to virus than flash drive? cos i too am using card reader to upgrade. i have stayed away from flash drive. about 3 of my flash dirives got infected with virus, infact i'm tired of it.

Thank u. it was today morning i did the work. the problem was from lnb tweaking though my NTA sometime goes off(u knw half loaf is better than none). i did the work in hurry but in the evening today there will be a time for me to do it in order to get the maximum signal i think bythen, the flaw would go off.

kingmayah: @larryenob.. I dnt tik d theory is true. by my observation & deductions, amos/w3c stays on top, multitiv follows while Dstv comes third.

NO bross, hv u considered multi tv and dstv on one dish, u will notice that dstv is ontop of multi tv. and this is in contrast to your observation.

Gurus pls come to my rescue.
more than two weeks now some of my infinity packages were gone on my 4922A e.g all the ait's, enc1-10,oromia, faaji, gamzaki, france24 and press tv, since then i cannot recover them back. i hv done several blindscan but to no avail. I also retrack my dish and it is still the same. like this NTA international(11092v30000) that is working now, it is red @ my end. i got 75% on 11024h03333.
my software version is 1.19p. olenyi and all other gurus don't ignore this post.

The function & how to input it in my receiver

biss codes enable you to unscramble scramble channels.
you can input it in your reciever by pressing 8280(if nothing displayed, press 6969 twice before pressing 8280). enter the code in the firt row of the box displayed on the screen.

Am grateful, as i connectd the Ku lnb wire without dicset, i got back the channels. Am grateful to all of u.that is i can watch tomorrow match wthout fear again

remember u need di-electric plate in order to recieve irib. u this tp to track it 3964v, 30000 as symbol rate.
