Midnight is a safe haven for those who are different, but with the presence of outsiders, the residents band together and form a strong and unlikely family. https://cdn-static.denofgeek.com/sites/denofgeek/files/2017/06/496189f76c8115e683e7fc9a69077ccd.jpg

Lana1:What did you want him to do fight and die? Euron already had Yara, any wrong move by Theon he would have slit her throat. He had two options fight and definitely condemn Yara to death with himself dieing as well or being captured. OR living to fight another day. There was nothing he could do, all his men were dead. If na you which choice you for make abeg cut the guy some slack ni. |

A pro-democracy group, under the aegis of Concerned Nigerians, has threatened to begin a daily sit-in at the National Assembly if the legislators fail to begin the process of removing President Muhammadu Buhari. THEWILL recalls that Buhari left the country for the London on May 7 to continue medical treatment for an undisclosed ailment and has not been seen in public since then. In a statement issued on Wednesday and signed by Deji Adeyanju, convener of Concerned Nigerians, the group asked the National Assembly to invoke section 144 sub section 4 of the Nigerian constitution and direct the setting up of a medical panel to ascertain whether the President is incapacitated. “Today – July 19th, 2017 marks 72 days of President Muhammadu Buhari’s absence from his office as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and from the country as a whole on a medical vacation to the United Kingdom,” it said. “During this period, he has not made any public appearances either in London or in Nigeria and has only allegedly clandestinely communicated with very few people and an infamous voice note spoken in Hausa language wishing Nigerians happy Eid. “Furthermore, details of President Buhari’s health status have been kept away from the generality of Nigerians while his media team and other members of his cabinet/party make conflicting comments regarding his health. “As at the time of this statement, no one including members of his party as admitted by Bolaji Abdullahi the spokesperson of his party knows the true medical condition of the president’s health. “We acknowledge that during this period, President Buhari has satisfied constitutional requirements by transmitting letters to the national assembly handing power over to his Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, on an acting capacity. “The Acting President has not been able to exert political will and is being continuously subdued by the antics of the cabal around the ailing president. The same cabal that has kept the president away from the country without any explanation. “We also recognise the failure of the Leadership of the national assembly in launching an investigation or setting up a panel to look into the true status of the President’s health as we believe that they have been compromised and working with the cabal against the Nigerian people. “The Leadership of the National Assembly must choose between the Nigerian people and the cabal. 72 days is too long for a commander-in-chief to be away from his country without any explanation to the people that voted him. “If the President has become incapacitated, he should do the honourable thing and resign. President Buhari cannot continue to hold the country to ransom. Nigeria must move forward with or without him. “We hereby demand that the National Assembly invoke section 144 sub section 4 of the Nigerian constitution and direct the setting up of a medical panel in conjunction with the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo to ascertain whether the President is incapacitated. “This medical panel will be a team of five doctors from which one of them will be the personal physician of the president while the other four will be appointed by the Senate President. “If the president is found with any infirmity that renders him incapable of discharging his duties, the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives shall officially declare him incapable of discharging his duties and declare his office vacant as prescribed in subsection 2 of section 143. “To this end, if the Legislature fails to act, we will commence a daily sit-in at the national assembly on from the 90th day of President Buhari’s absence from the country.” [url=http://allnews.uodoo.com/en-ng/detail/3693601795814190?app=browser_card&uc_param_str=dnfrpfbivesscpgimibtbmntnijblauputoggdnw&opt=list_auto&uc_biz_str=action%3Abase.openwindow%7Cparam%3AS.object%3Dinfoflow%3BS.token%3D1002%3BS.scene%3D1002%3Bl.channel%3D10069901%3Bend&entry=browser&entry1=card&entry2=list&reco_id=72a35c13-bec4-4657-a35e-b35d6a05974f] Source [/url] |
Santino1:At the Battle of blackwater, did Stannis take his family with him? Nope because he wasn't relocating he was attacking. But when he headed north, he relocated taking everything and everyone with him hence him trying to set up shop north. Concerning retreating, he had the wall to retreat to. The men of the nights watch would have definitely harbor him thats why Davos adviced him to leave his daughter there before going to attack Ramsey. Besides looking at the map Dragonstone is very far from the north and hence not a feasible location for a retreat. You can't expect him and his weakened army to make such a long journey back in dangerous roads. Unlike the battle of blackwater where all he needed was to turn his ships around and head back into safe waters. As you said Stannis was a fine strategist, he saw all this factors and decided its best to abandon Dragonstone. |
Santino1:I believe Stannis wanted to set up shop north so there wasn't really any reason to leave a garrison at dragonstone since he needed every man he could spare. He didn't plan on returning there for a while so I see no reason to protect it and it didn't seem anyone else was particularly interested in taking it. |
gj22:My thoughts exactly ![]() |
Seun:Dragonstone wasn't abandoned it was occupied by Stannis. So the fact that its still in good condition is because it was only just vacated recently when Stannis took all his forces and headed north. Dany's guards did walked with her although they gave her space at times they were there non the less. On why their stupidity was not punished well you have to ask the Lannisters. They knew she was coming, they(at least Jaime) knew where she would hit land when she arrived. So why didn't they send assassins? |
GagaBoy:U have a point no doubt. Yes potential traitors will definitely think twice if it were normal times. But this ain't normal times, Jon needs everyone to band together against the white walkers. He can't afford a weak link because he will surely call on the Kastarks and co when the white walkers comes. He needs them wanting to fight not being forced into it making them a wildcard. And in battles it just takes a few soldiers not doing their jobs to turn the tide. The key point here is unity. If it were normal times without the looming threat of the White walkers. I would definitely 100% agree with you. Remember almost all houses betrayed the starks, it wasn't until Jon went begging or should I say demanding that they return back. |
GagaBoy:I feel Jon made the right decision and those Kastark and whatever will be even more loyal than than before. Sansa's opinion was basically what Cercei would have done. But that would have created a faction against Jon, however small. Jon needs a united north and this decision just cemented that. |

megrimor:The solution is simple let her introduce you to her mom shikena. Matter closed |

This is really ridiculous. Imagine for over a week when those who received theirs 3 to 4 days after were visibly troubled compared to these ones. JAMB use sense abeg cc: Lalasticlala, olawalebabs, Fynestboi, Richiez |
Tenim47:U didn't read the part where JAMB boss said although not all of them may be culpable. How can every single person in a center(centers like Benchill in Warri, Mapoly in Abeokuta and Kemade in Ile Ife) from 13 to 20 be engaged in malpractice. Lets be a little less pessimistic in our thoughts please. At least give your fellow brothers, sisters, sons, daughter the benefit of the doubt. |
