In a free and fair election, I don't see Aketi returning elected. Please tell me precisely the area he has performed excellently well. We have to be sincere with ourselves if his first term could be like this, I can't imagine how the second term would be, if he mistakenly emerge.

I built mine with about that amount.
3 bedrooms,1 living room, 1 kitchen , 1 toilet/bath, 1 dining room. I used less than 1500 blocks. All plastered and tiled. Electrical wiring done. No fence.

No well or running water yet

It's small though. The whole house is 33 by 22. I used 9 bundles of roofing sheets. I used Louvre windows.

If you really mean it, you can do it.
It could be better but I trusted the wrong person..

Do a lot of homework. I got plenty of info on Nairaland.. like how to calculate no. of blocks. Foundation, window, lintel and roof levels.

Ajayi will return to PDP after winning under ZLP.
How can someone who could not win ordinary primary election under a popular party have such hope of winning a general election in a party that isn't known at all?
Last last everything na fun and game to these guys.
The man would have been the best candidate for PDP. I see him as the only one who can challenge the sitting governor. He tried in the primary, joining the party in less than a month and coming second and being unable to be impeached by the State house of assembly almost 2months after decamping says much about him. I don't see him winning the election though but the man is a force and shouldn't been joking with

Very matured and humble statement from chief Oke . Mean why is either Chief Oke or Chief Abraham can win Ondo State for APC again . If they feed Akeredolu I can assure you that he will only get his vote from Nairaland because Ondo State are tired of his corrupt government . Don’t ask me why ? I’m from Ondo State so I know what am talking about
Ondo state cannot afford to have this man at helms of affair sir in the second term. Mimiko can't be compared with this governor in any means. His utterances alone coupled with wife's bad utterances and disregard for the citizenry isn't palatable. The second term would witness who the man is truly

The familiotocracy being practiced in the State is not palatable. Do we talk about appointments and employment of other states indigenes where the state indigene has become a second fiddle in their own state or his son and croonies in every Committee being set up? The only problem they have with him is that Aketi has changed Ondo State politics from sharing the state's resources by doing stomach infrastructures to bettering the lives of the people of the State and moving the state forward.

Largely speaking, Politicians who don’t see things that way are the ones who don’t share the same page with him.

Ask anyone among them why they don't like him, they'll have no tangible reason to give you.
That's not the fact bro. Did u listen to him speak during his third year anniversary where he overrated his son saying he worked more than politicians for his emergence and saying the son deserves being appointed his chief of staff? Do we talk about the unpaid deductions from salary of workers since February? Or how the wife has been insulting the states citizenry?. This government of the father by the mother and for the son mustn't continue

You can ask any civil servant in the state maybe the February deduction to their cooperatives have been paid. I am telling you nothing but fact bro. And to be sincere with you, the deductions into cooperatives is more than take home of nearly all the civil servants.
This deductions is being deducted from their salaries to pay children fees, do their projects and others. It is not that it is different from their salaries

Anyone outside Aketi will do. We have never had it this bad. The government is solely run by the wife and son. And the way he brags with the son all about amazes me. He displays the family for everyone to see. How will you tell politicians that worked for your emergence that your son who wasn't known in political space of the state worked than them and he deserves being appointed your chief of staff. That's what he'll definitely do in his second term. The wife wields so much influence and power, she talks to the people of the state anyhow. You are the number one maga and mugu combined. You live, I presume in a rented apartment and had the gut to pay 400k for a girl's house rent. Not your parents or siblings, even if you live in your own house, it's high sense of irresponsibility on you to pay 400k house rent for a girlfriend when there are so many motherless home or needy people all around.I just wish I could see you and call you names if this your story is really true though and not a fiction.

Pls lock down the entire country since Nigerians are too stubborn to obey simple instructions. Covid-19 infection rate is on d increase since the lockdown was relaxed. People must come to terms that this virus has come to stay. It will take at least 2 years for normalcy to be restored. Argue with your cerebrum.
Countries that have provisions for their citizenry are relaxing due to the adverse effects on the economy. You keep people at home for weeks without food and you encourage them to continue the lock down. I pray you don't witness hunger .We must be sincere with ourselves, people are hungry, let's feel the pain of others. it's not affecting me so much though cos I keep getting my salary but how about people whose livelihoods depend on their daily struggle. Corona is real but I tell you to die of hunger is what one won't pray for his worst enemy. Should they now continue to lockdown till your projected time for normalcy? The country and set of leaders we have make us stubborn. See how they are utilizing resources (financial and material) given to them.

That is because the salaries are small. Truth be told shall i ones did my I.T In one of the SSG'S office under DFA some time ago,the salaries of this people are not big compared to the nature of the work dey do. I think they should be thinking of slashing their allowances cos that is where the excesses are from. The PS then earns around 200k smtn there about.
A PS earns more than that

You are an aboki right, you can put a call across to the miyetti Allah president in Ondo State and ask him about the night of ijare in terms of protecting it's indigene and resources.

And please do advise him to tell them to reprise. That will be the end of Aboki's in ijare if not Ondo State. We are peace loving people and I know slot of hausa/ Fulani in Ijare the ones who even speak our dialect. But when you take our accommodating for granted and decides fighting us that will be the end.

Pls don't forget to tell them to reprise

Why bother chasing them away and risking physical conflict when you could have easily resolved the problem by obliterating their cows by remote control with lightning - instead of resorting to self help and now have to be sleeping with one eye open in case of reprisal?
who is sleeping with one eye closed. They should have waited instead of running away. Why didn't they revenged their struck dead cows. Aboki go and read about Ijare and you would realize this is not a community where u can destroy their farms and go Scot free. Let them think of attacking the town and Ijare will show you the stuff we are made of. Mind you this is not chest beating

NaMeAboki:
While not condoning the destruction of farmlands; at the same time two wrongs cannot make a right:
You warned them and the they heeded and went to a distant place to resettle.
You still traced them and chased them away (even though no longer a threat to your
farms).
After they ran away, you took their cattle (over 100 in number) to your ruler's palace.

Questions:
Now that you have their cows as hostage, what do you expect to do with them should
their owners want them back?
What do you expect would happen should anything happen to their cows?
Is confiscating/retention of their cows consistent with existing laws?
If the community was as organised as they seemed, what stopped them from inviting the
police arrest/prosecute the culprits amongst them?
Is chasing them away consistent with their constitutional right to freedom of movement
and association?

There is always the right way and the wrong way of doing what is right; unfortunately resorting to to self help is not one of the rights ways.
It is an easy route to escalation and potential violence with attendant loss of blood/life. - I foresee reprisals if those cows are not returned.

You are truly aboki. They've been warned severally, they didn't listen, remember part of the warning was thunderstorm against 36 cows in the community last year. These people have destroyed many peoples source of livelihood.

In this same community, my dad's farm was eaten up last year, another of his farm was eaten up last week. This is his only source of livehood. What do you expect him to be eating when years, months, weeks, hours of labour was destroyed in a day. It might interest you to know that the king is even helpless as he has gotten several warning from military base in the State. When one seems to be helpless, u resort to self help. That was part of the lightling last year.

We are peace loving people but are not fools nor cowards You may not have heard of ijare but I tell you let them even think of reprisal or make attempt. They would suffer more. We don't make mouth.

As regards your question, I may not be able to speak for the community, but paying for the damages they caused should be the condition for the release of their cows.
