TV/MoviesBest Movie Or Comedy Series To Download On Youtube by Sunflawa(op): 6:29pm On Jun 17, 2021
Hello nairalanders, of no doubt, the MTN 4GB YouTube NIGHT Plan has been a blessing in disguise for some of us who're YouTube lovers, this 4GB YouTube TUBE NIGHT Plan which can be accessed from 11pm-5am is usually given when users Make data plans of #1200 for 2GB and above. (Depends on eligibility though).
I've used this night plan to download series upon series, e.g. The Professor Johnbull series, Ben cash TV, denilson igwe comedy, Mark Angel comedy/TV, yawa skits, mumuskits comedy and lot more. But I've watched them all as most are usually uploaded at weekly intervals.
Suggestions on more best of comedy series and even funny rib-cracking soap-operas(Professor Johnbull) will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance as I'll be in the comment section anticipating your comments and replying the repliables

EducationASUU President Ogunyemi Bows Out by Sunflawa(op): 10:45pm On May 28, 2021
The President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, on Friday, delivered his valedictory speech at the conference of the union held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State.

In the speech marking the end of his three-year tenure as the leader of the academic body, Ogunyemi thanked the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, the Nigeria Labour Congress and others.

He also noted that 30 ASUU members died of COVID-19 and other issues during the period under review.

He said, “In line with the provisions of our constitution, we are here to review our activities in the last three years with a view to charting a new course at this critical juncture of our national life.

“As a point of departure, we must place on record that COVID-19 did not spare our campuses. Many of our infected members had had to combat the COVID attack with resources from colleagues and other people of goodwill because their salaries and emoluments, as well as the union’s check-off deductions, were either withheld by the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation over the rejection of the discredited Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System.

“Our other comrades suffered the same fate in the hands of overzealous State University Vice-Chancellors and Visitors. As a matter of fact, we lost at least 30.

“In the last three years, ASUU has enjoyed tremendous goodwill from quarters too numerous to mention.

“Despite being a government official, the Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund has never denied his training in ASUU and the role played by the Union in midwifing the intervention agency.

“The Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission is also another rare breed who projects his clear understanding of ASUU’s mission at every meeting with the government. May their race multiply!

“We equally appreciate the intervention efforts of the Hon. Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu as well as his Labour and Employment counterpart, Sen (Dr) Chris Ngige when it mattered.

“We cannot thank them enough. Our profound appreciation equally goes to the Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, who has continued to play significant roles in getting our matters resolved in the last one year.

“The NLC President and Global President of the International Trade Union Congress, Comrade Ayuba Wabba, has stood by us all the way. His strategic intervention, on behalf of the Congress to which we are an affiliate, always made the difference. Comrade Global President, may your shadow never grow less.

Ogunyemi added,” For us, the ASUU struggle has become a lifetime project. We therefore appreciate the privilege to serve you and pledge our continued loyalty and support for this great union of intellectuals. So, as we say, the struggle continues.”

Ogunyemi’s successor is expected to emerge on Sunday at the Awka conference.

The conference’s lecture titled: “State Terrorism and Nigeria’s Development” which was delivered by Prof Akin Oyeboye of Faculty of Law, University of Lagos, summed that Nigeria was at a crossroads, ” caught in the vortex of verible contradictions, hopelessness and self-doubt.

The Vice UNIZIK Vice Chancellor , Prof Charles Esimone, described ASUU as the sole and conscience of the Nigerian University system.

EducationSHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE AS A STUDENT-TEACHER by Sunflawa(op):
It is no news that as a student in nigeria studying an educational course., you can't miss out on the Teaching Practice Exercises.
A Teaching Practice Exercise is a period of six weeks for some and some others it is 3 months where a student usually called a "Student-Teacher" is made to go teach students of primary or secondary schools subject relevant to his/her (Student-Teacher) course of study... It involves the student teachers to be posted to schools and they await approval from the school management for them to begin the exercise..
I'm a 300l educational student of OOU, Ago-iwoye posted to a school in ijebuode, ogun state. The teaching practice exercise started on the 26th of April, but I resumed at the school the next day (27th). On arrival which was quite early, I met and got acquainted to my fellow Student-Teachers mostly from my school(OOU) and TASUED.. Teaching didn't took place as we were new to the environment and moreover it was the first week of resumption.
Our cooperating teacher and subjects to teach were allocated to us, thorough Orientation from the school principal was given to us also and we were wished GOODLUCK.
From the first day of resumption till Friday. Teaching haven't taken place except scheme of work given.. So, this is my experience so far. I believe we'll get teaching this coming weeks. Wish me good luck fellas.
Let's share our experiences with each other for learning purposes..
Let's keep it coming and I'll be in the background to answer questions that nairalanders will like to ask as it relates to my teaching practice.. THANKS

Mine was in the village
My Dad took my bro, cousin and I to a bush precisely a river in the bush. First time of going there, I don't know whether he wanted to test us on something, we were very young then. He was the first to get into the river and had his bath. After bathing, he dressed up and said we should meet him at home. He left us there, as per bad guys, it didn't mean anything to us as we thought we knew the way. As we finished bathing, we left the river and heading to the bush path. We walked round that bush for hours without finding the right way. We started to panick that we had lost way. Mehn! it wasn't funny, we started running and shouting round the bush back to the original spot we started. grin
We came across a dark bush where a Native doctor stays with different types of red and white clothes and some strange things. This made us panicked more. We ran back shouting and crying for helpgrin
We later met an old man that asked what we were doing here, we explained everything to him and he agreed to take us to the major road. We followed him while scared thoughgrin
We later found ourselves at the major road. We thanked him, we looked back within few secs and we couldn't see the man again. I was too young to even think he disappeared.
We narrated our ordeal to my Dad and he was just laughing grin
