A brand that is so committed to elevating talents and putting them on the next necessary levels. A brand that so much appreciate talents with multiple rewards. A brand that constantly gives talent platforms to showcase what they've got. Please applause for TECNO, they sure deserves some Accolades. |
Despite having a long lasting 6000mah battery, the weight is still very light. And you know what! You don't have to wait till forever for it to charge fully because it comes with a fast charge technology (18 Watts). TECNO very much on point with the Pouvoir 4. |
feejay70:My guy, what we have refused to understand is that all phones are either manufactured or assembled in China. And that some are specifically manufactured for Africa doesn't mean they ain't worth it. Everyone will just choose their preferred brand. For me! It's TECNO!!! |
The more they make noise and bash TECNO the more the brand keeps making Hugh sales to the point they became the 5th most admired (and preferred) brand in Africa. Is not by noisemaking but by strategic marketing, intentional awareness circulation and customer satisfaction.
|
What a statistic!!! For people who can understand it, it shows the best network to hang on to and also the best service provider. |
The reason why am not even concern again about the bashing and abuse over Tecno phones is because "the street of internet" is different from "the street of reality", I can boldly say that more people are aware of tecno phones and more people are using Tecno phones than other brands. What their competitors can do is to create more awareness and improve their marketing strategy than always attacking them with negativity. |
Every country's market around the world are localized and for you to have an upper hand in terms of gaining entry into the market and making Hugh sales, you must study the market well and most especially the nature of people within the market, understand them and their specific needs and also understand their buying capacity and do your products to their taste but of standard. For me, I think Tecno has done their research well and they have passed their assignment and that's why they are currently dominating the African markets (Tecno is the fifth desired brand in Africa right now, and number one mobile brand) The only thing their competitors can do is to also do their research about the Nigerian Market (especially studying consumers behavior towards mobile brands) and strategies how to penetrate the market than always demarketing other brands. |
SpecialAgent:TECNO is from 'Chinco' no doubt, so also is hauwei p9!!! Go and do your research well. |
I carry my money I buy what I like, some people are crying as if its their money. I like what I buy, at least it's serving the purpose I bought it for, and not wasting time playing games. TECNO ALL THE WAY JOO!!! |
TECNO Mobile keeps doing the unthinkable, unbelievable and unfathomable. Tecno always lending a helping hand when necessary and at the right time. TECNO, YOU ARE DOING WELL!!! |
From other research and findings I did about the Sparkling Spark 5, it answers all the questions asked within this article which are these: - Can I afford it? - How good is the camera? - I hope I will not have to spend a lot to fix the screen if screen is broken. - Is the selfie camera very amazing? - Does it have a good storage? And these questions are mostly the main concern of Tecno customers nationwide, and I think that's why tecno had to put all these into consideration with the release of the Spark 5. |
We have become a smartphone society. In NAIJA, around two-thirds of people own smartphones, and many of those people consider their phones an essential device for getting online. Smartphones aren’t cheap either, While the average price of an Android phone goes for 35,000 - 45,000, though there are many phones that cost even more. Believe it or not, if you have the funds, you can pay thousands or even millions of dollars for a smartphone. Most people take a deep breath when it’s time to replace their phones because they know it’s going to hurt their wallet. But you can put off that painful experience by keeping your phone in good health. Here’s a checklist of ways to protect your smartphone. Let’s start with external threats. 1. GET A CASE: There’s nothing worse than dropping your phone and shattering the screen. It happens a lot, and there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to get it fixed. The answer is to protect your phone with a case. There are dozens to choose from for every model. If you know you often drop your phone, then get a case that will protect your phone against anything (even driving a truck over it!). It will make it heavier, but it’s worth it. Otherwise, a slimmer case or simple sleeve will do. One tip: if you’re using a clip-on case, make sure it’s got a decent-sized lip all around so if the phone does drop, it doesn’t land directly on the screen. 2. PROTECT YOUR SCREEN: Speaking of screens, consider a screen protector. Some screens are made of tough material and may not need them. However, a protector may keep your screen together if you drop the phone. It also means it's harder to scratch your screen, which can affect its responsiveness. Get protector that’s easy to apply and is right for your phone. 3. BE CAREFUL HOW YOU PUT IT AWAY: Unless you’re using a super-effective case or screen protector, ladies, avoid putting keys in the same section of your handbag as your phone. Gents – keys and phones don’t belong in the same pocket. If you’ve ever had a scratch that is right in the middle of the area you need to swipe, you’ll know that key scratches (and other scratches) can seriously ruin the touchscreen experience. While you’re at it, don’t put the phone in dangerous places, like on a balcony railing, for example. That’s just asking for the phone to fall and get smashed to pieces. When you put your phone down, keep it away from hazards so it will survive till you’re ready to upgrade. 4. AVOID WATER AND EXTREME TEMPERATURES: Most people don’t put their phones in water deliberately, but lots of people forget they have a phone in their pocket when heading to the beach or pool. One dip later, and the phone is toast (unless you manage to dry it out with rice ). 5. KEEP IT CLEAN: You might not be able to see dust particles, but they get into your smartphone, even if you’re using a case or screen protector. Too much dust and your phone’s performance takes a hit. Use a soft screen-cleaning cloth with an appropriate screen cleaner to wipe your screen gently. Open the case every now and then to give the phone a wipe and get rid of the dust. The five tips above help you provide external smartphone maintenance and protection, but safeguarding your phone is also about keeping it running smoothly. Here are some tips for doing that. 6. STREAMLINE AND UPDATE YOUR APPS: Most smartphones include a bunch of apps that the manufacturer has installed. Chances are, you don’t need all of them. Since the more apps you run, the shorter your battery life, disable, or uninstall any apps you don’t need. For the apps, you do use, make sure you’re always running the latest version. App developers update apps regularly, add new functionality, cut down on resource usage, and guard against malware and security threats. Tip: Either set your apps to update automatically, or update them manually at least once a week. 7. CLEAR THE CACHE: When you install apps or when they run, they may leave junk files behind in the cache. Those take up memory you could use for things you really want to do. Clear these files out from time to time. Both Android and iOS allow you to do this. 8. USE TRUSTED SOURCES: Sometimes you want to download and install a new app, but where should you get it from? With the rise of malware on phones, the best advice is to use the app store for your device or another trusted app store, such as Amazon’s. 9. EXPAND YOUR STORAGE : If your phone allows it, install an external SD card to increase the available storage, then run any apps you can from this storage. You can also use it to store media files. This frees up the phone’s internal memory, resulting in better performance. 10. LOOK AFTER THE BATTERY: Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for looking after your battery. Depending on the age of your phone and the battery it’s using, this might include: charging your phone before it runs down completely letting it run down fully once in a while restarting your phone from time to time turning off services you don’t need (like mobile data when you can use Wi-Fi and live wallpaper) keeping the battery cool (and turning off the phone to let it cool down if it overheats) There’s plenty of advice online about the best practices for your particular smartphone model. Finally, you also need to ensure you can find your phone if someone steals it. Use the security features built into your device to help with this: Lock your phone with a pin, password, or pattern. Don’t share your password. Install a security app to help you find your phone if it goes walkabout. Feel free to share more ways to maintaining our phones or you can even share your personal experience in comment section. Thank you. They Studied and understand the people, their market and their buying abilities, so they did all their products specifically for them(Africans) that's a marketing strategy that has put them above the others. |
The Camon 15 isn't bad as they are painting it to be. Then the people kicking against it have not touched it talk more of using it. If after you have read the specifications online and you ain't okay with it, please I recommend Samsung for you. That's another good product. |
Very good tips: I am specifically taking home number 3,4 and 5, If I adhere strictly to them, my phone will last longer. Thanks greatly!!! |
I still don't understand why some brand can't market their products without bringing Tecno into the picture, that's bad marketing skills. They claimed they ain't marketers or paid, but they continued to buy data with their money and be shouting tecno up and down. Like someone said "Tecno has done their assignment and they are reaping the profits" Well, from experience the more you cruxify a thing the more it gets stronger. Tecno all the way. Take note: I don't care about your abuse. |
World’s largest social media company, Facebook is designing a massive underwater cable around Nigeria and other African countries, bringing high-speed connectivity to the continent’s 1.3 billion inhabitants. Facebook has partnered with the likes of South Africa’s MTN, Britain’s Vodafone, France’s Orange, and China Mobile, and other Africa based operators called 2Africa to build the laudable project, which worth about $1 billion. According to Bloomberg, Facebook has assigned Nokia-owned cable systems providers and others to build the subsea cable. At 37,000 km, Facebook claims the internet cable will equal the total distance covered round earth. The main object of this massive project, Facebook says, is to bring efficient and high-speed internet connectivity to citizens of Africa. Africa is “currently the least connected” in the world, Facebook wrote in a blog post yesterday with just 25% of its population having access to the internet The submerged cable will interconnect 23 countries in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. In addition, Facebook said it will “provide nearly three times the total network capacity of all the subsea cables serving Africa today.” Facebook explained that the 2Africa project will be made more efficient and durable using aluminium rather than copper, as these could help enhance network capacity. You will surely get some TECNO phones at that price and even have balance left. You can try Camon12 or the Camon12 Air. |
For me, both phones are very good, but ur budget will determine which one to get. They are already asking you to go for another phone but please don't forget your budget which is base on your pocket. And those phones are budget friendly. That's Tecno Pouvior 3 Plus and Camon12. |
It's very pathetic that people can't really communicate sense without being abusive and using derogatory words all because they want to make points. In as much as i will like to learn from this thread, just sighting all the insult just put me off. Some people just exhibiting thuggery attitude and cyberspace bullying. And a lot claimed they ain't marketers, but their utterance and behaviour on this platform shows they have collected money but in the end they ain't doing marketing but de marketing. At least you can enlighten people without abusive statements which bring you to your low ebb. |
Thelucifer666:I hope you are in Nigeria because the Federal Government have asked people to open their business within a particular time each for Lagos especially, so if they adhere strictly to the laid down rules and regulations especially that of social distancing, then I see no issues with TECNO opening their stores. |
Anyday anytime, the Pourvior 3+ is the best from the Pourvior series. |
New TECNO #Spark5 with 5 Camera's 6.6' Dot-in wide screen display ☑ 5 Camera's ☑ 13mp quad rear camera with Quad flash ☑ 5000mAh ☑ #Spark5Cameras |
I personally prefer any of the Camon series (Camon Air 12) than the spark, Thou the spark is good too. |
5 sparkling sharp cameras with powerful 5000mAh battery, that's Great. |
Tecno Pourvior 3 Plus seems very strong. |
Great list. But which one is totally free and that will not start hanging on my phone. I will love to try out Rome: Total war |
TECNO doing their thing, some people are annoyed as its only tecno doing it. The knowledge TECNO give us week in week out is more than what some unknown products give us in six months. |
Take a good look around you and you will notice that the world have greatly evolved, we now live in an era where technology has made the world so advance, lets take for instance, the self driving car, wearable gadgets, smart homes with voice controls, and lots more. But today I will be sharing with you the best cloud storage services for your Android. You don't need to be tech-savvy before you own a cloud storage and it's imperative everyone who uses a smartphone own a cloud storage, because; it is far more convenient than carrying a hard drive and flash drive wherever you go, it does not take up your internal storage and it also makes file sharing easier. The Best Cloud Storage Application Services For Your Android Smartphone. >> Google Drive This so happens to be one of the most popular and sort after cloud storage app, on your first sign-up/use, you are greeted with a free 15GB cloud storage space, which can be used to make a backup of your; audio files, pictures, videos, application, and documents. Also, there is an assortment of office applications at your disposal for: note-taking, documents, slide show presentations, and spreadsheets. If you feel the 15GB cloud storage is not enough for you, it can be upgraded to 100GB cloud storage and this upgrade also goes as high as 10TB as well, but not for free, there is a fee attached to these upgrades. >> Microsoft OneDrive This is also another respected and popular cloud storage application, and one of the reasons it stands out is that it integrates directly with a vast series of windows products. As a first time user, you are greeted with 5GB of cloud storage space, also if you are using it for either personal or business use, there is dedicated OneCloud storage included in every Microsoft office 365 subscription. If you feel the 5GB cloud storage is not enough for you, it can be upgraded to 50GB cloud storage and this premium service goes as high as 5TB, it all boils down to your budget and need. >> Amazon Drive This happens to be the best option for those of you who make use of Amazon Prime. Upon signing up, you are greeted with a 5GB free cloud storage alongside unlimited backup for your photos and videos. There is an upgrade plan which costs $60 a year if you ever feel the need to opt for unlimited cloud storage via their services. >> Mega I am sure majority of you all already know about mega, seeing how popular it is and how widely it has been in use, Mega is the sequel to the now-defunct Megaupload, a cloud storage service that was taken down by the authorities a couple of years ago. At first sign-up, this cloud storage service gives you 50GB. And it's the biggest offer I have seen so far amongst others. Should you feel the need to upgrade, they have a plan of 200GB and it goes as large as 8TB, it all boils down to your budget. >> Dropbox I am sure the majority of us here know about Dropbox cloud storage application, seeing how it comes preinstalled in our Android Smartphones. This so happens to be one of the most underrated cloud storage applications, it features; easy sharing options, auto photo uploads, it supports sharing of files with others and Microsoft office support. This cloud storage services so happens to have more features than most and on users, accounts are given a free 2GB free cloud storage. If you feel you need more cloud storage with Dropbox, then you have to upgrade to the 1TB option. It's often used by individuals and business owners. >> Nextcloud Nextcloud is a different type of cloud storage. It works a lot like Resilio Sync. You create your own Nextcloud server on your own computer. The app lets you sync files between your computer and your phone. It operates exactly like your typical cloud storage, but you control where the files go and what happens when they get there. It is an excellent resource for people who like the idea of cloud storage, but don’t want their files in the servers of some other company. Plus, you get as much cloud storage as you have on your computer. It is free to use for personal use. There are enterprise options for businesses as well. >> Tresorit This so happens to be one of the newer and more expensive cloud storage options. However, it takes security very seriously. It features end-to-end encryption of every file uploaded to its service. Basic accounts get 1GB of free cloud storage. $12.50 per month earns you 200GB while $30 per month nets you 2TB. Additionally, the pro plans include far more security features than the free account. There are also additional options for businesses and enterprise use. It’s a strong option for those who don’t mind paying for it. >> Resilio Sync There is a good reason this cloud storage application falls in the last place, and that's simply because it's unsafe and lacks update, I believe the very last time it was updated was when they changed from 'BitTorrent Sync' to this. But should you feel the need to own your personal cloud storage, then this is your best bet. This app allows you to use your desktop, laptop, NAS, tablet, or even your own home-built server as a destination for your phone syncing. It operates exactly like Dropbox, Google Drive, etc, except you will be using your own machine to store everything. The only downside is that you will need to keep your receiving machine on all the time so that the syncing can be done. The app is free for basic home use with some rather expensive prices if you want to get full functionality. However, it is a single payment so it is still cheaper in the long haul. If you have been educated from this post, do comment. Source : https://spot.tecno.com/global/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=83118
