slevin1: Vewy vewy funny indeed. Soon you'll meet a gal who seems so different. You'll test her to ascertain her commitment and loyalty and she'll excell, leaving no doubts in ur mind that she's different. Then u learn to love again....... But she's not gonna break ur heart.
She's gonna smash it up, take it to the highway and leave it in the middle of the road for a trailer to run it over.
Bro, you'll find the heart to love again. She just is not the one. Bleep as much as u want and drink as much as u want, it won't change the fact that loneliness knows u by name and one day it's gonna call it out in a loud voice. Bro, your post might as well be about the guys. |

junnyjake: Buhari, no send una o.
he's gonna do whatever he wants to do and what's more unfortunate is the fact that all we can do talk about it till God decides to visit his case.
And all of you shouting Northern appointments should be aware of the fact that Buhari is only concerned about those his brothers in the far north - the Hausa Fulani, while those at the north-central are totally left out.
Or how could you explain why people from Taraba, Benue, Kogi, nassarrawa, plateau States are less literate than those from the far north. The most obvious reason should be the dominant religion in their region.
Even in the north, his bigotry champions, let alone his opinions about other zones of the country. lol.. you mean more literate |

Wow. Such a shame that someone who's educated enough to type and to use twitter would make such a comment. And such a young, normal-looking guy sef. Sometimes I fear my Northern brothers and sisters. I love to visit because the North is my home, but, with people like this roaming about, I have to admit that I feel much safer in good ol' Lagos, where I don't get persecuted for my Christian beliefs |

Romance › Re: Guys: Do U Still Find Black-skinned Ladies Attractive?? by sunnywinter(f): 10:45am On Jul 11, 2016 |
Chrisrare: .......Most guys i know of confessed to me that they find light-skinned ladies very attractive and beautiful and would love to date them. I for one dont find black-skinned ladies attractive, cos there is nothing beautiful or attractive about black colour. Black colour connotes someone who's suffering and who spends much time toiling under the sun. Reason why many ladies have resort to bleaching. Though i dont support bleaching, but using a good cream that will bring out the yellow colour in you is advisable, and u'll look very beautiful, attractive and confident. I just asked a lady recently on whatsapp why she diddnt upload her dp with her pix, she said she is getting dark cos she is now using a cheaper cream due to economy and doesn't want pple having her pix in their phones. Similar thing has happened to many ladies, when they start getting dark due to one reason or the other, they'll stop uploading thier pics on social media.
......I think by the year 2050, there will be very few black-skinned ladies, cos most ladies would have learnt how to tone there skin as they start growing up, without causing any harm to their body. Okay.. you have the right to an opinion anyway I, for one, will never try to change my skin tone, since I've grown to genuinely love it. I have nothing against other women lightening their skin if they'd like to though. |

Culture › Re: 10 Signs You Are A Josite by sunnywinter(f): 3:35pm On Jul 01, 2016 |
ebubey: Here are 10 signs that prove you are proudly born and raised in Jos, Nigeria. The city of Jos, Nigeria, though small and often forgotten, is one of the most diversely populated cities in the country. The residents of Jos range from the indigenous tribes of Plateau State in north central Nigeria to tribes from many eastern, western and southern states in Nigeria. Regardless of this great diversity in the cultural heritage of the residents, there are certain characteristics that one will find common in anyone who was born and raised in Jos. Listed below are ten signs that will prove accurate in identifying a person who is from Jos.
1. People get confused during a fast-paced conversation in English with you because most of what you are saying starts with "Kai..." and ends with "Toh... You are set by default to begin and end your statements with “Kai..” and “Toh…” respectively. And it has never occurred to you that these two words are not even English words. Clearly this is a normal way of speaking for you.
2. Even though you do not understand or speak Hausa language, you know that “An fara!” (translated in English to mean “It has begun!”) means you need to start running in whatever direction everyone else is running. By instinct, as soon as you hear, “An fara! An fara!,” you run away. You do not need to know why you are running. You just run.
3. You roll your eyes in frustration every time that people from the western, southern and eastern parts of Nigeria refer to the indigenes of Plateau State as "Hausa people." First, you laugh. And then you start a lecture on The Various Indigenous Tribes Existing Within Plateau State.
4. Market and terminus are synonymous to you. You understand that when someone says, “I’m going to Terminus,” they mean they’re going to the terminus market, aka the main market.
5. You became friends with the soldiers near your house or school. You figured it was probably a good idea to be friendly with soldiers who would be around for a long time and were already frustrated from living such difficult uncertain lives.
6. Ice blocks falling as rain is perfectly normal to you. You can still feel the blocks of ices hitting against your head as you run for cover. You still enjoy the look of surprise on people’s faces when you tell them, “We don’t have snow, but it rains blocks of ice.”
7. During every major holiday celebration, you wanted to go to one of four places — Jos Wild Life Park, Old Zoo, Rayfield Resort and Solomon Lar Amusement Park. It was a cool thing to visit one or more of these venues during holiday celebrations including Eid celebrations, Christmas, New Year celebrations and Easter.
8. You still call every fast food restaurant Mr Biggs. Mr Biggs was once the most special place anyone could take you.
9. NASCO biscuits played an important part in your childhood. Through all the birthday parties, end of school year class parties and other childhood celebrations, NASCO biscuits never failed to be present among your goodies.
10. Despite all the negative publicity, Jos is getting from the media today, you still remain a proud Josite. You’re quick to defend the city you’ve grown to truly love and appreciate, especially when people judge it based only on all of the recent chaos.

Mods please move this to the right section Cc: lalasticlala farano Rocktation I'm a Plateau girl, only been to Jos less than ten times but i can relate |
