Fashion / Re: Mass Production of Skimpy Clothes: Sisters How Have You Been Coping? by sunnywinter(f): 11:02am On Apr 13, 2021
Honestly, this has been quite an issue for me, at this point, I'm always checking out for IG thrift vendors... I know a thrift store, "The Ornate Thrift", they still have really reasonable prices, they even focus on personal service like buy what you specifically ask for.

Family / Re: Is Marriage An Achievement? by sunnywinter(f): 10:08am On Jun 26, 2018
Finding someone who you can confidently say you love... And are willing to spend the rest of your life with; while they are also willing to spend their life with you??
Personally, I think it's a beautiful milestone that one should be proud of and grateful for. An achievement? Definitely.
Politics / Re: U.S. Condemns Plateau Killings by sunnywinter(f): 10:02am On Jun 26, 2018
Throwback:
A special condemnation should be worded against the Buhari presidency for being deliberately and irresponsibly impotent against the terrorism that even the Fulani herdsmen have taken responsibility for.

Yes!!! Thank you

Have you been to the farm before bro? Do you know how many palmtree and palm wine tapper die annually? How haven't you seen a mechanized farming before?
Lol I misunderstood. I assumed he meant village farmers who don't use lots of heavy machinery; and about the palmwine tappers death? That's new to me. I thought the mortality rate was low because they all gained experience in tapping.. Plus I'm not a bro lol

Romance / Re: Can’t Get Over The Pain by sunnywinter(f): 11:54pm On Jun 07, 2018
I feel real bad for you. You'll get over it. Please don't allow this turn you into a bitter person. Get some new hobbies (especially those that let you channel and release anger, such as Taekwondo or other combat sports). Focus on your baby, get in shape (revenge body ish lol) get into a healthy lifestyle and don't binge eat due to sorrow ohhh.
Try finding new friends who you can strictly have fun with... Be happy you dodged a bullet by not marrying a cheating, irresponsible bastard... Focus on God in this tough time, not “God, why?" but “God help me know you better".... Take time to get to know your true self again... Allow the hurt and don't supress it.... I know it doesn't feel like it, but you're learning a lot from this, and will come out stronger and wiser.
Stay strong, girl. And motivate and train your child to grow up so great and as such an achiever that this his dad will forever regret abandoning him.
Don't cry. There's so much love around you. Look at your fam, your friends, and even me a stranger on the internet. Tap into it and forget your ex's toxic, poisonous love'. He never did deserve a responsible, steadfast, expressive woman like you seem to be.
You go girl!

Education / Re: Hafsat Jalila Adamu Graduates With First Class From American University, Nigeria by sunnywinter(f): 11:25pm On Jun 07, 2018

On behalf of the Nairaland Association Of Advocates Of Private Universities(NAAPU) whose Chairman, Board of Directors is OBVIOUSLY CodeTemplar with HigherEd as Our Company Secretary and TheVictorious asuustrike2009 and Gerrard59 as executive directors we hereby state clearly that the report of the Minister's child graduating from AUN is a welcome development.

This is an endorsement of the private higher education system and proof that our haters couldn't be more wrong in attributing our desire for private education as product of our inability to enter Public Universities.

The minister who though enrolled his child a year prior to his appointment is evidence enough that we were simply running away from something which the minister too was running away from.

Henceforth, any attempt to denigrate and assassinate the character of individuals who attended private universities would be met with a proportional offensive e-response.

Ngas/Angas

Seems it's a dialect meant and spoken only in Plateau state? Just browsed about it.

Both spellings are correct. Angas is mostly said by outsiders though.

Yeah. I spent a year there despite the fact that the place wasn't connected to the nation's power grid.

Very nice and serene place. Used to go to FRSC in Langtang for CDS.

The period I spent there counts as one of the most memorable moments I've ever spent.

Thought I'd settle down in Jos after service but...
Aww yeah. Almost everyone who served there has such beautiful memories, yunno. It's so terribly sad, all the destruction that terrorists brought to Plateau
