Nwanyiogwashi: You know nothing about Delta state urhobo is the largest when you add isoko as part of urhobo or you add warri as part of urhobo, many people mistake warri as solely own by urhobo with that they add their population to urhobo. A lot of people from Delta state I have met often say Urhobo are the largest ethic group in Delta state, while Anioma have the largest chuck of Land. |

Nwanyiogwashi: [/b] 1. Isoko is not urhobo land
2.voting strength? And you people voted APC in governorship election and still fail
3.some of the urhobo local government are co owned by other ethnic group unlike Anioma land that is owe solely by Anioma people.
4.Warri are own by other ethnic group too
5.Tell me a place in urhobo land that is more developed than Anioma land.
6.we beat urhobo in education
7.we beat urhobo in most influential people.
8. We beat urhobo in sports.
9.In formal Midwest who dey hear about urhobo people. Urhobo were largely seen as part of bini groups in the old western and mid western region. Everyone just called them Bendel |

From my observation as an outsider
Urhobo is by far the largest ethic group in Delta state
And I believe Anioma should follow
isoko should be third but historically Isoko are just Eastern Urhobo if I am not mistaken
Ijaw and Ishekiri should be similar in numbers |

Nwanyiogwashi: Even the ishekiris you're talking about are not more than 5% in Delta state and you're talking about Yoruba people Ha Ishekiri are than 5% oh, They may not have huge land like the rest but have close to a million people in Delta state. Those that see themselves among them as pure Yorubas shouldn't be more than 100,000. |

Politics › Re: Thread Closed. Thanks for your submissions by Sunshineg5(m): 2:36pm On May 18, 2020 |
Nwanyiogwashi: Stop this nonsense nah Yoruba is not an ethnic group in Delta state or language There are Yorubas but they are less than 5% of the population but grouped as Ishekiris. Their communities are near the ocean and very remote (far away from big towns) Those Yorubas gladly accept being recognized as Isekiris because they are too small to stand on their own. And partly because they share similar language and orgin with the Ishekiris. |

Psalmy2cute: opc amongst itsekiri go tell them itseke guys that one first and you'll see that kind of response you'll get.. itsekiri tribe are like children to edo people.. we were taught this in school.. just because itsekiri language sounds similar to yoruba doesn't make them yoruba.. even some parts of ijaw language is similar to yoruba and igbo.. but that doesn't make them yoruba nor igbo..
egun language in lagos and orhobo language is very similar and sounds alike.. but that doesn't make egun languages as urhobo Go to school, they won't Read news, they won't They would only listen to Radio Biafra all through. Read Article below http://saharareporters.com/2013/12/20/bloody-clash-averted-opc-inaugurates-itsekiri-chapter-deltaIshekiri are not Edo oh, it's only their Monarch that came from Bini like Oba of Lagos. And Egun are Aja language group, it has no bearing with urobo language. Unlike Ishekiri language which is Yorubiod. |

Psalmy2cute: Bleep off with this nonsense write up.. the ilajes you're talking about migrated to itsekiri land.. you'll even see them amongst the ijaws.. that doesn't mean they're indigenous.. they dont even own 0.0001% of land nor population in delta state.. Continue typing nonsense Which one is Ishekiri land ? Why do you think Ilaje and Ishekiri language are similar if not same. Don't you know Isekiri and Ilaje are close neighbors By the way, those Ilaje and Ishekiri communities contribute a significant portion of Delta oil being exported. |

Even though we have 36 state governors, why is Fayemi the Chairman of NGF? If all the governor's have the same status, then having a Chairman amongst them shouldn't be right?
Or? Bruv, shame dey catch me for you So does that mean Fayemi can tell Makinde what to do in Oyo state with its independent house of Assembly? or can Fayemi tell Ganduje what to do? |

There will always be political recognition/status amongst the Obas.. Bruv, stop shooting yourself in the foot

helinues: I clearly stated they are both first class King but when it comes to state affairs coupled with the location of Ogun State government house and Alake palace, any Governor will first consult Alake before approaching Awujale.
That's political status which you also know except if you want to mischievous So Olubadan is ranked higher than Alafin and Soun of Ogbomosho is ranked higher than Oni of ife going by your silly logic. Those kings are also in the capital of their states and Government should consult with them first before consulting with others You have been driven into a corner my friend. |

helinues: Is it only Alake the Only Oba in Egbaland? Can other Obas in Egba be compared to Alake in terms of ranking?
Can you compare the ranking of Awujale with any Yewa king? You are putting yourself in a corner Is Alake and Awujale not in a single state, Are they not first class kings? Meanwhile, we also have 19 first class kings in Kwara state. In Kwara state, we have three Yoruba groups like we have in Ogun in Ogun, We have Yewa(Egbado), Ijebu and Remo, Egba In Kwara state we have the the Ekitis, Ibbilo or Ilorins, Igbomina Ekitis have their own First class kings Ignomina has their own first class kings with Olofa of ofa being the most powerful Ibillo or whatever can serve the Emir for five more century if they like. Hope you understand |
