Lionbutterfly: I am sure you can deduce sarcasm when you see one. Carrying God all over your head to every thread on nairaland even to those not talking about God must be a heavy burden on your neck or whatever body or mental part of you is being tortured with it. Sorry, you say a lot of incredible things that are both nonsensical and contradictory. Poe's law does not allow me to detect sarcasm in your posts. my apologies... |
Christianity Etc › My Painful Experience With The Doctrine Of "First Fruit" by superhumanist(op): 6:51pm On Feb 08, 2018 |
I never bothered or even understood the meaning of "first fruit" until last week. It came as a surprise when a friend called asking for money. Let's assume that his name is "John". John is a man that has a high paying job in a federal government office and he has one or two side hustles- this is why I was surprised that he needed money badly.
Apparently, he gave almost all of his income in January to his church in the name of first fruit and he became a bit broke during the period. Knowing what John earns, he must have given over 1.5 million Naira to the church (I assist him in one of his side hustles and so, I know). He expected that his other side hustle will make up for his first fruit donation but it did not go as planned
This is a man with wife and children reduced to begging his junior (me) all in the name of first fruit. John is like an older brother to me. He usually pays for drinks or food whenever we go out. I am so pissed at how churches have brainwashed hardworking, educated people. It is also important to point out that as a big boy, John spends big and also borrows big.....and so, I am burdened with lending him a huge amount till he recovers from the first fruit blow to his account. |

Yeah I said witches and not witches and wizards because the ladies are so emotionally guilty of this. superstitious and misogynistic. So, witches can send facebook and whatsapp messages but your god can't use technology to prove himself to atheists/deists? |

butterflyl1on: More of your illogical award winning nonsense. *facepalm*
A conversation is not carried out due to duration but a conversation can be a singular sentence or question or even word.
Eg. Hungry? (question) Answer : yes
That is conversation.
Or
Happy? (question) Answer: perhaps
That is conversation.
I think I have had enough of your illogicalities for one day. Thanks for the time. Quite frankly, you are so shameless. So by your definition, it is possible to have a conversation with a dog? Nonsense |

butterflyl1on: LMAO you are just fooling yourself.
She REJECTED MEAT! Don't you still get it?
She did not want to have ANYTHING to do with MEAT, BONES, BLOOD right from when it was a cub. So what rubbish sayest thou?
They already said they gave a daily milk of half a gallon, eggs and cereals and she would go and eat grass in the field for an hour daily BY HERSELF.
yet she thrived without meat. She grew into a lovely specimen. Lost all her predatory instincts and lost her carnivorous ways.
If you don't like it, go back to the past, carry out a brain surgery on her, change her vegetarian ways which she chose herself and live in peace The grass part is a lie. Lions throw up grass as they can't digest it. Your lies are compounding and so is your foolishness |

butterflyl1on: LMAO. Do you know the volume of taurine a feline requires in her daily diet?
You are showing the daily requirements for a little cat. Not for a lion get your facts right.
Eggs and milk contain little amounts of taurine too small for a daily requirement for lions. To get the daily required levels for lions they need at least 500 gallons of milk daily and 4000 eggs daily. Why do you think lions eat.
Humans need about 3000 mg of daily taurine dosage and if lions are twice or thrice the weight and size of some humans, how much daily dosage of taurine would you "intelligently" think they need?
Why do you think that lions eat at least 15 kg of meat daily in the wild? What nonsense are you saying? By that pic alone, milk has similar amount of taurine as meat. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Animals That Feel Pains Of Birth, Did They Eat The Forbidden Apple Too? by superhumanist(m): 6:44pm On Feb 05, 2018 |
butterflyl1on: Recommended taurine daily intake is 400mg/ kg
A lion at full size weighs about 190 kg
400mg x 190kg = 76,000mg of taurine intake daily.
Is this figure same as what is in your image?
Tyke was given half a gallon of milk daily along with eggs.
Let me leave the eggs first and focus on the milk.
8 normal cups make half a gallon and 1 cup contains 400mg of taurine so 8 x 400
That would give you 3,200 mg of taurine .
Take 3200 from 76000 what you have is 72,800 mg remaining.
Eggs contain approximately 400mg as well so let's divide by 400mg.
72,800 / 400 would give you 182 eggs or roughly 15 dozen eggs.
She had to eat 15 dozen eggs and half gallon of milk daily to achieve this and even you and I know nobody can afford 15 dozen eggs consistently daily except you are mad rich and according to the story, this family that raised tyke were financially crippled By your daft calculations, meat too would have been too expensive to give lions. 1 cup of milk has similar amount of taurine as 1 cup of meat. Guy, stop this nonsense nah |

butterflyl1on: Like I said, read all I posted on this matter. Here is a bit of it.
She could not have been drinking 500 gallons of milk or 4000 eggs a day plus tuarine was relatively unknown in 1950 and was known in 1976. Yet she lived for 9 years and was reported as the healthiest African lion ever seen by a world famous zoo curator.
Cc budaatum See the lies you tell? why is there no link to your quote on taurine in eggs? Here is a picture for you to show you that eggs and milk contain adequate taurine
