I lost my last book so I'm writing the next one in a book.

After I saw my account balance, I was determined to follow my method religiously. Although, I didn't waste the money I earned — it was well spent, I got a laptop to focus on writing and Amazon kdp. This week, I managed to get N4,500 and this is the naughty thing I'm gonna do: 50% will go to my UBA account 20% will go to my GTB account The rest will kept for groceries and I'll be sending N200 MTN airtime to my mother — it's been a while I did that. Things are getting worst everyday which is I believe earning in dollars will set my life on track. I do this for the family. Hopefully, I get to pay my rent due by September before I get thrown to the street .Loading... |
About two days ago, I came across this thread and a lot of them keep talking about this book and how it has helped them make good decisions. I was at work but I typed "download the richest man in Babylon PDF" and luckily I downloaded it from a site. One of the commenters on that thread also shared a link and I clicked it, the book downloaded immediately. Also, when I remembered ilegendd's BAYUBARR method (something like that); I got angry with myself for failing to follow my own method. So Loading... |
ikeno: At least, you're using a phone that allows you post pictures on nairaland. ![]() |
Way before I came across "the richest man in Babylon", I created two bank account — I planned to create more and assign all of them with a specific purpose. But I was just starting life and was broke but had vision. Life happened and those accounts hadn't been receiving money, in fact, one of the banks sent me an email reminding it's been months since I last rang the bell. Loading... |
Don't tell me, it's for card maintenance ✋ ![]() Are they aware of the situation in this country? They better pay me back or I do that naughty thing! |
I came back home tired, sleepy and frustrated yesterday after working overnight for almost 20 hours. After bathing, thinking and eating, I slept off, I was so tired I left data connection on. I woke up to see that UBA debited my account that has only 1k — I was like "WTF, have you no shame?" That 1,000 meant the world to me, look at what they said to me: Txn: Debit Ac:2XX..Bleep Amt:NGN 53.75 Des:CARD MAINT. QTR3 2023 Date:24-07-2023 05:39 Bal:NGN 943.71 Transfer with *919# Loading... |
azikiweironsi: How many Nigerians can afford 50k or have such amount in their bank account? People like Mr Reno don't even bother to come down to the ghetto and see what's going on here. $65 or 50k is a lot of money to an average Nigerian like me, as far back as 2018, despite being an intelligent kid I had no choice but to give up my dream of going to college. Look, the only reason I'm commenting is to tell the world that amount is a lot to an average Nigerian and we'd have to work our as$ out to make that amount. |
I come from a family that can't afford that 50k, do average poor Nigerians have more than that amount in their bank account? $65 might seem very small to you but not to people like us. I have to work for months like a donkey to get that amount of money... Anyway, I'm not even in school right now — just commenting Mr Reno sees $65 as a "chicken change" but a lot of Nigerians don't. |
Good idea but people like us who have never watched this type of sh_t but let's see how it goes. |
HacheNoire: Kai, I don't care if you think I wrote a novel or poem but the message has been passed — if you Christians and Moslems wanna take us back to the middle age, please do, I love adventures. I will protect the Christians and Moslems that mean a lot to me, y'all can do whatever the f_ck you want to! At least, I'd get a story to write and publish on Amazon and become a bestseller! I'm out of here! |
I don't even know what this is all about but before thinking you own the monopoly to violence, have you ever heard of the 1. Christian crusades that took place in the 11th, 12th and 13th century 2. The numerous bloody wars in Europe 3. The world war 1 and 2 These wars were mostly fought by Christians, the some Europeans you view as cowards due to their liberal nature today. I don't wanna talk about the Nigeria—Biafra war but what I'm trying to say is: in demanding for the right thing to be done, avoid pushing for violence. These Christians are peaceful because of the new testament, go to the old testament and see how the Israelites destroy everything once they captured a city. Religious folks, don't take us back to the middle age! |
HacheNoire: I wanted to ignore your comments and other religious folks here but I think it's better I say it out so it will live forever on the internet. I'm not supporting what Davido did but bear in mind that nobody has the monopoly of violence — your comments are painting Moslems bad. The most powerful countries in the world today are Christians but they're not screaming about how "Christianity dominates the world". You religious folks should better understand and respect others religion. As for Christians, I don't understand the constant attack on Islam — I understand that a lot of our Arewa Moslems are intolerant but learn to respect other people's belief. Do y'all wanna take us back to the middle age for Christ's sake?! I don't know anything about this because I mainly use only nairaland but Davido deleting the video shows he knows that the controversy could turn bloody. Funny enough, the signed artiste might even be a Moslem. |
Yankee101: Someone like me wouldn't mind doing that, in fact, I love it but the problem is money — the capital! I'm all alone, starting life without a father or having to stay away from your family for years because of nwaboi apprenticeship (which only caused me pain with no gain). Last year, after I sent my mom N30k to get a goat — the plan was to buy more once it starts producing a child and get a laptop to start Amazon kdp (I couldn't delve into freelancing because I didn't have a skill except writing and I had never owned my own laptop, that nwaboi apprenticeship did a number on me) That money was 98% everything I was worth, I literally started from the bottom — the goats died earlier this year. Anyway, I got a laptop this year (a generous nairalander equally made that possible quickly). I'm still writing my first book and I don't care how long it takes but I will surely earn online while battling poverty offline. I do this for my family. |
2015. N1.5M to be exact, and since then there have been no turning back. Between 2015 and now I have made over N180 million. Ten years ago if anyone had said I'll ever see a million I would have laughed that person off. 15 years ago I was walking round Festac Town, sometimes barefooted selling vegetables (shokor) and okra. When the season comes I sell corn..With a trey over my head walking round Festac shouting "BUY SHOKOR". It's the most humiliating thing that can ever befall any on in secondary school as I get to see most of my classmates..girls included. I once saw a classmate and nearly ran for cover, unfortunately the trey fell on the road, and right there I had to stop and picking back the items one by one lol. This hits me hard... Dear God, I'm alone — help me so my family can breathe 😭🤲 |
ZUBY77: I was frustrated out of there, it even showed that I was banned. |
Congratulations @Evb2000, I'm so proud of you ! I feel inspired, encouraged and hopeful — thank you for your diary thread and please, don't deactivate. I go back to your thread to gain motivation because I strongly believe in this biz.1. Please how do you conduct keywords research without using any paid software? I also bought a course but I'm hoping to learn from you. 2. Do you advise I write my book as a series — that is, the first book explaining everything about the topic and the rest focusing on things related to it? It's nonfiction... 3. How long did your first book take you? Did you focus on one niche at first? 4. I lost my book when my hard disk crashed and currently writing another one, how kept you motivated when you started at first except for your Japa plan? I don't wanna disturb you with too much questions, I wish you the best of the best and please, keep us updated. Thank you. |
javaRookie: Hello brotha. Please I'm a newbie on Amazon kdp and currently writing my first book, please and please, if I can get that book it will change a lot in my life. I had to type "ilegend" on Google because I was hoping to see some topic of kdp and this thread was the second or third that popped out — please don't ignore. Thanks. |
Purvan: Son, how's 23 underage? ![]() Anyway, she's only doing that because of her own insecurities which she's transferring her aggression on you because you're better than she'd ever be! I know her type, crushing and wondering how a guy can be so goodlooking — I've seen a lot of this type of people who try to make you feel insecure because that's exactly what they are! It's crazy, man! Always let your confidence and high self esteem pour like water whenever she comes around to start acting stupid. Silence and composure is a strong weapon. |
ambitiouschap17: May God bless you, brother. You're a real one! Your reply has just joined hundreds of other screenshots in my gallery. Thank you once again. |
Rathoreng: Thanks brotha, will check it out. |
ambitiouschap17: Bro. I'm a newbie on Amazon kdp and I've been writing my first book since March — it got lost when my hard disk crashed. I'm writing another book and I'm asking if I can get some inspiration from you — I bought a course and went through old threads about kdp (mk82, Bros1234, ilegendd, Helioshay, Hamlak, eliok etc). I also saw your posts when you first started and I could relate (even your now deactivated account), please give me some inspiration. Thanks. |
Ay, what's good Akwesenana. I was banned by the anti$pam. |
Omoawoke: That's the mistake most of our parents made, it hurts me to see young people suffering because they got parents who believed in "it's God that gives children, he's gonna provide". It's heartwrenching. |
Lord by 2026, hopefully I'm alive, wealthy and would get to watch the world cup live. |
