You're right.

It's the same everywhere in the world. You can't disassociate them especially the Igbos and their Southern siblings i.e. those that answer similar names with other Igbo groups. The USA can never disassociate from the British no matter how much they have tried, I have heard people refer to "London" as America. The Germans cannot disassociate from Austrians, an uninformed outsider would always see them as one.

Heck, even an average Nigerian refers to Asians as "Whites" even though Europeans and "White" American would laugh at that. Yesterday, my lil bro was watching a Filipino movie (I hate that shít) and my momma kept referring to them as "Ndi Ocha" which is a term used for white people (and also light skinned people by the way). The point is: Even if I explain why they are not "Ndi Ocha" to an average American white Caucasian, my mother wouldn't stop calling those Filipinos "Ndi Ocha."

Finally, whether we like it or not, to outsiders: Austrians would always be connected to Germans, Americans (which are already mixed up with different ethnicities), Australians, and Canadians would always be connected to the British. The South African Boers would always be connected to the Dutch, and the same thing with Igbos and their Southern siblings with similar names.

As someone who grew up with different ethnicities and in the North, I never knew there were any people different from Igbos but answered similar names. I used to look up to a man in our hood, I called him "brother." I liked that man a lot and had huge respect for him maybe because he was confident with women . His name was Onyema and all of his kids answered Igbo names. We Northerners didn't care that he said he was different from an Igbo person, we still saw him as one even though we nodded when he'd explain that he wasn't Igbo.

Funny enough, he had Igbo friends and felt safe with them when things got usually crazy in Arewa (North).

So boss, until the end of the world, people would always do that shít. I have an Igbo mother and I have never heard her talk about some "Igbo" people in the south south. I learned more about this people on NL and the internet. Lol.

An angry man (who looked homeless) has said that any man who doesn't drink alcohol is a coward and he also swore to "break into pieces" any man that drinks water in his presence. It's really sad how the Taliban are giving in to Western and African values. She's still not covered enough. A woman's voice can also turn us on, they should do something about that.

I thought of a plan yesterday night.. here it is:

I want to tell my aunt in the US to open kdp account in her name and details for me..

But I'll be writing, formatting and designing the book covers.. after which I'll send to her to publish

The only work she'd do will be to publish the books (of course, I'll guide her through)


How viable is this plan??

It's great as long as you trust her and she is reliable. But remember, even US accounts are been terminated so make sure all the details are verifiable and real.

I wish we had a private place we could say all these because I don't trust these Amazon guys.

My best advice is; Create a fresh account
Follow due process
Make all information genuine and accurate
Publish 5 solid books.

Leave the account, don't do anything on it again.

If you have an extra phone, do everything on it and put the phone back in the carton.. you will just be checking the royalties time to time..

I already created a full Nigerian account that same yesterday and every information is absolutely correct. The only issue is that I'm using a private browser on the same device. As long you're alive it is not over. Look for somebody that doesn't have anything to do with kdp like a student or a worker who has valid details use that person's details all of it to open a new account change everything let nothing relating to you be there a new email name passport everything. Basically it is somebody opening an account with his own honest details and you using it to publish your own books. Make sure this time to be as honest as possible, and work with that. If you need someone to do that for you, work something out with him.
No labour is better than kdp, so just try again. KDP are not targeting you, they are just looking out for their customers, so if you can make them money 💰, they won't reject.

Now...Nigerians and indians have taken over YouTube with AI generated videos, they are even selling courses now. I have been on YouTube since I was a kid, I would upload videos, my songs, for fun but if I eventually decide to do YouTube full-time today and they start banning Nigerian; someone would come here to tell me it's because I'm a scammer.

Time to go back to working in a factory for half the minimum wage? I hope not . I really wish I still had enough time. Too many failures in my life. Even God knows I gave my best, none of these failures were the result of laziness—that's something I have never been. I leave everything to God and remain totally emotionally detached.

The self-publishing career is quite straightforward. Notice that I referred to it as a career. Treat it like a business: create a honest, high-quality product that you can be proud of and that others will be willing to pay for. It should be a product you can display with pride anywhere.

I have never encountered any issues with my Amazon account. I use a pen name as do almost everyone. If you are going to do this, put your head down and do it well. Honestly.

At least we have a lot of success stories here to inspire us.

I wish I actually tried to game the system but I didn't... Even the second account I created was created because the first one which I have been using was terminated. I pleaded and even unpublished the book they said was similar to some other book (which they didn't even exactly tell me) but they refused.

I wasn't even spamming books, I had just 12 books and that account has been my only account since 2022. I truly regret being a Nigerian.

I don't know how to answer this question, I'd just drop the email so you see for yourself. They terminated my first account and claimed that my book cover/description/title was similar to another book. I can't even buy another device to start again, I don't have a choice but to use the same device. I truly wish I could switch to another platform.
