20,000 Naira to a Random Nairalander if my Technique Fails If you know the thread below or the book The Bad Guy's 29 Laws (check my profile), then you must know that I'm one of the most insane hustlers on Nairaland. https://www.nairaland.com/8039275/no-shaving-taking-photo-everyday The same challenge in the thread above is still going on and I have done a lot more crazy challenges but a video I found on one of ilegeñdd's threads has reignited my challenge showoffs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFj6TOYpQG8 Since that challenge above, I have: 1. Stayed over a month without food and I'm currently on it again. 2. Trained my brain to do difficult things. 3. Trained my brain to reach the highest level of confidence without feeling arrogant. 4. Trained my brain to reveal the most dangerous book on Earth. and lots more... Here's my new challenges: Fast everyday 12 AM to 12PM until I grow back my company. Use a technique inspired by the book in my profile to stay away from porn and masturbation for 30 days. If I fail, I'm giving away 20,000 Naira. Practice the above breathing technique everyday Exercise daily and push myself beyond human limit. The purpose of this thread is to prove to you that our greatest asset is our brain and that we can achieve anything we push our mind into. |
iLegendd: Jesus Christ! This is unbelievably powerful! I decided to try it out because I remember promising to do (when I first came across this thread) this once I'm chanced. Saving this in my diary. Thank you. |
GeneralPula: Yeah... I mean, ain't you the same moniker with YouTube videos showing a comment of yours where you called for the annihilation of the Igbo people? |
DemonSlayer: Yes, we are saying the same thing. Regardless of what we think about colonialism, it's best we begin to see the light. It would do us more good if we stop thinking like victims and start taking advantage of the little weapons on our sleeves. And I bet that's exactly what the boss is talking about, too... Man, I have loads of things to say... If the British didn't do it, some other power hungry motherfúckers would have — I refuse to see myself as a victim. Colonialism destroyed a lot—both good and bad—but it also allowed our knowledge to grow. Sadly, we aren't making good use of this knowledge. I bet if our ancestors knew about all of these technologies and how big our world is, they would have put together this local and "imported" knowledge just like the Chinese did. Colonialism is a huge part of the human race, our ancestors have all "colonized" others one way or the other. I still believe in the kind of revolution boss ilegendd has in mind, the world is going conservative and we should do the same... It would be a long-term plan, but it would certainly work. We just need a strong propaganda, America's music and movies has impacted the world greater than their wars did. It would be slow but with a committed leadership, it would be achieved. This is why I keep saying democracy needs to go, we need a good dictatorship. Unfortunately, I don't know any Nigerian politician fit for this mission... |
iLegendd: 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Facts, boss. |
DemonSlayer: English language wouldn't be discouraged, this plan wouldn't even be that effective in our generation but in the next generations to come. This is why I have always hammered on that fact that our educational system is archaic. We can do better, it's depressing coming across ignorant opinions of how Africans can't do shít for themselves but we have great thinkers here — even here on Nairaland. Just because I was taught French as a "subject" back in high school, I still recognize a couple of French words till today. It was just 2 to 3 years in high school! Imagine if it was from elementary school! That's how powerful education can be. If I was the government, I would be using schools, movies, music, and all of these tools needed to enforce propaganda to do something like this. This is how Liberal Americans are spreading all of these beliefs like LGTV or whatever they call it. |
I can't really agree or disagree because we have to fix some issues first. I believe as humans, regardless of our similarities, we would always look for difference. But I digress... The main reason I do not agree or disagree is I have always wanted this union to be dismembered or at least reorganized in a way that each people are autonomous to an extent. We don't have to stick to democracy, we can always come up with a system that would accommodate this idea, just like your idea (which i wouldn't lie, I do imagine at times) of creating a single official language. This is why we have a brain! It's best we first have a union like the European Union (or UK) where we can all be autonomous but at the same time, need each other as allies. Then after that, we can then create that language... |
They like to feel good about themselves. |
Bendeco02: It's better you say it depends on the individual involved because I'm 100% sure my silence alone would leave any woman on Earth wanting to hear my voice—yeah, stupid digression... Anyways, I'm a typical introvert but IF I was one of those who frequently visit the local brothels, it certainly wouldn't be because of "low self esteem." I literally ended a relationship because I needed space, I found out that I was unintentionally using the laws in the book below and I had to exit. I know a friend that sleeps with different women in a week and pays, just because he didn't want any connection. I'm staying away from sex and my self-discipline is iron stone but that doesn't mean I have low self esteem. My first sex after all of this would be with an "ashawo" or whatever... it has nothing to do with self esteem. I just don't want the noise that comes with keeping women, they get too addicted. Lol. I have to keep a long distance from my female friends too because I'm addictive. I know what I'm saying...
|
Oracle411: Valid! It has nothing to do with self esteem. I know highly confident dudes who hook up with girls and pay — simply because they don't want any connection at all. And yes, they don't pay up to that 50k. I used to find going to brothel weird but not anymore... I can talk to any woman on Earth, it's just that I naturally have the ability to get a woman obsessed and I do so unintentionally. I just got out of one relationship and I had to, I don't wanna destroy anyone's life to prove a stupid point. Right now, I have made up my mind to go visit a brothel in the future (if I'm alive), do what I want, and go. By the way, I have total self control but I have found out that it has made me lose interest in sex. If I can get it back by visiting a brothel, no problem... |
Drella: When you understand that people like us are genuinely interested in becoming that change and that we are born writers, then you will learn to shut up and stop projecting your reality on others. The fact that you can't transform your thoughts into words effortlessly within a short period of time doesn't mean others can't. Even if it's because of any prize, just shut up and mind your business. |
I actually did make that $500. With God by my side, I will grow stronger and get back on my feet. I'm still doing the challenge and I think I have fail about 20 times. |
Following this thread, I saw a comment on 'keke,' I'd definitely love to invest on that in the future if I'm alive. |
iLegendd: This is gonna be a long read. No proofreading... One take. While I wait for my turn to fetch water in this stream, let me approach this like a warrior who just took over power from these present political vampires. 5 Greatest Distractions for Nigerian Youth 1. Tribalism and Religion: The reason I'm grouping these two together is that often times, their strength lies in the beliefs held by the populace. Although, I can argue that in some cases religion doesn't really hold much weight compared to ethnicity but however we still have these biases (embedded in us by our parents) in us. The easiest way to destroy a Nigerian revolution from within, is using tribalism. Yes, we marry ourselves but deep inside, we are still humans — not just humans, but an artificial geographical creation. I said "humans," because as human beings, we are more likely to feel comfortable amongst people we share similarities with. Even in the smallest 'nation' in a society—family—siblings still fight brutally let alone a country with hundreds of ethnicities. Even within the Igbo people, there are "groups" large enough to be a nation. The solution? I believe it's okay to be conservative and still be open enough to work with others. It's okay to compromise to reach a favorable agreement with other ethnicities. So you can be proudly Hausa, want your own nation, and still willing to work with the other ethnicities. We have to accept our identity, and still be willing to work together just like the Europeans have done. 2. Delusions: When I say "delusions," I'm talking about: a. Educational system b. Social media c. Addictions d. Environment The "educational system" comprises of everything that make up the way we think e.g school, church, family belief, etc... they all play a role on how our mind are groomed. Our schools do nothing but stick to an archaic and foreign system, we do not go extra miles to give us the right mindset needed to build a nation. How is the importance of a clean society not being radically promoted in schools? Why do we feel comfortable throwing away trash in public? This is just a simple example. I have no doubt that the internet is a blessing, without it, I'd be broken and more helpless than I am. However, it has also become a rabbit hole that our youths would rather bury their head in, than use it to dig up gold. Social media has become our battlefield while our enemies work tirelessly on and off the internet. I don't do social media (except WhatsApp for biz, which I already made inactive for almost a month)I can't remember when I actively did with full attention like a typical Nigerian youth. I feel like it has become a safe haven to drown in rivers of dopamine. No doubt, social media is revolutionary but we must learn to use them wisely. Addictions might seem irrelevant but the power they hold cannot be underestimated. There are millions of youths who are now complete zombies due to some of these addictions. We need to reassess our lives and start asking ourselves the right questions. People would rather drown in alcohol, drugs, porn, etc, than do anything about the reality around them. They have become a perfect place to escape our reality and forget about the fact that our future is slowly being sucked away. Our environment is also another factor under the "educational system." We are heavily influenced by the media, our parents, friends, obstacles, and so on. If these "environmental elements" surrounding us constantly draw our attention away from things we should actually be focusing on, we might never focus on them. 3. Get Rich Quick Schemes: We are constantly distracted by all of these stupid ways to get Rich Quick. We can not focus on the legal ways, so we end up creating more problems for ourselves — especially if they end up backfiring. This is the same thing that is happening to Nigeria. We keep chasing irrelevant BS while the real problems keeps on compiling. 4. Unnecessary Entertainment: I think I will categorize bloodsucking relationships and friendships under this one. Many of us are stuck in some BS that aren't benefitting us or building our mindset, it could be social media arguments, stupid debates and fights... We are also spending time with people who do nothing but suck up our positive energy. I had to end a relationship because of this, yes, I was in control but I have learned to obey my instincts. Ever since then, the little peace I was managing has returned. We are also trying to entertain ourselves 24/7, we compare ourselves with other youths from other "races" whose ancestors have fought to make their future bright. Rather than do the same for our descendants, we spend time on nonsense, it gets more saddening when you see stupid youths drowning in worthless violence like cultism. 5. Consuming gimme gimme mindset It's quite similar to the educational system but I think it needs to be addressed. We rather take and take than give. We rather import and import than export. You must be thinking: so, how's that a distraction? The thing is, with this kind of mindset, we would rather focus on irrelevant stuffs because we know we can easily take from others. With this mindset, we think it's okay to steal from others just to take, it's okay to produce nothing as long as you can buy it anyway with money. I can go on and on... I do believe that these distractions are the same obstacles that hinder Nigeria. It's time to get back to work. If we can fix the brain of the youth, we can fix this geographical location. |
This is what we have been doing for years but it's amazing seeing how it's going mainstream. Books on that topic even sells a lot. |
SuperOnyi: Excerpts from the book: Have you ever wondered what life would be like without death? Of course, I’m sure you have. You’d get to become immortal—live forever without ever having to say goodbye to the people you love, and have all the time in the world to achieve your goals, right? But wait a second. Do you know that the knowledge of death actually makes our life more meaningful? Let’s say we never get to die, or somehow science conquers death. Life would have no end, we’d have all the time to wallow in procrastination, and there would be no reason to value the moments we have. Has it ever occurred to you that it’s mostly because our time is limited that we’re motivated to make the most of it? Read that again. If we were immortal, we’d be tempted to neglect the things we would have prioritized as mortals. We’d have no reason to make choices, because we’d live forever anyway. So why bother showing determination, taking risks, growing, or loving deeply when we could do all of that a hundred years from now? With mortality, we get to experience life richly and intensely. This gift drives us to live authentically, to undervalue nothing, and to embrace both sorrow and joy. Even in the face of loss, when you understand that death is just a reminder to live with intention, you will begin to feel more at peace. |
Another interesting and powerful book you should reach out for, too... It's simple, provocative, and filled with brutal facts.

tensazangetsu20: Thank you for this. I needed this laughter . |
There's a lot I don't like on that vanities list — so pathetic. That bolded is so annoying. On the second list, there's a lot: although it's best we choose 1 to 5 of them to avoid overstretching ourselves in the beginning. Im |
