lagos does not belong to yoruba people. it was even founded by slaves from brazil. it belongs to the federal government of nigeria. and our fathers (especially igbo fathers) developed it together
Another ole from the cesspit of alaigbo enclave.

Oga Eko-Ile has always been existing before your great great grandfathers that lived in hamlet settlements.

The Portuguese has been trading with my forefathers at Eko port before your forefathers even know how a mirror looks like.
Slave trade is an 18th century trade, lagos has been existing before then. It was developed by slaves, the first set of released slaves was around 1910, lagos existed before then. Your forefathers that you referred to wandered to lagos and met a thriving city. Do you think lord lugard was drunk when he decided to live in lagos.

Do yourself the favour of reading up. I don't have time to lecture lazy brains like u

Wandering ibo manuuuuu. Who invited you to where you wandered to in the name of looking for greener pastures that does not exist in your own pasture.

Who invited you to be the slaves in assisting the indigenes to build their towns whereas yours is an eyesore

Are your states not collecting allocation from revenue generated from oil money too? Or your leaders have been returning the money allocated to your states back to FG because igbo indigenes have contributed and developed their community.

Instead of you to hold your leadership responsible for your near slum like living, you are here ejaculat1ng prematurely and uttering diarrhoeic statements of a place being developed with oil money.

Tell us the state in Nigeria that oil money has not impacted. At least we still have our sizable IGR to point out as our own sweat. Show us yours.

If you are having headache and heart attack because Lagos is Yorubaland, I have got 3 words for you --------

shameless he-goat. If we used oil money to develop Lagos, what happened to your own same share of the oil money. It is in ojukwu azikwe Achebe OUK Obi's pockets. How is that the problem of yorubas. My formation would have been

Any back four

Carrick
Nani /valencia. Kagawa/Ando Januzaj

Rooney. Ozil

RVP

We should be giving teams defensive worries and not the other way round.

If we need to defend, pull out kagawa or Januzaj and bring in Jones or Fellaini to partner with carrick and ozil drops backward a little.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by superstar1(m): 12:11am On Dec 09, 2013
Oghos1: Morale boosting would not have given our midfielders technical ability.
And morales die just as easily as they come.

ozil wouldn't have been a morale booster.
Rather he would have caused more unrest.
Something moyes was trying to quell with d whole rooney, kagawa and rvp plaing 2geda conundrum
Arrival of berbatov, RVP, and Kagawa did not result in any unrest and that of Ozil would not have too.

Who is more technically gifted than Ozil in our midfield?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by superstar1(m): 12:02am On Dec 09, 2013
elampiro: Rooney bottom level is because of the kind of players surrounding him.

He is forced to drop deep to get the ball and when he looks up, no one to pass to sef. You can see how Kagawa who is a magnificient passer is made to look like a fool in Man United.

These are the things Rooney saw that he wanted to run away. SAF refusal to bring in qaulity players. Look at the way Everton midfielders were winning tackles and recovery fast. In Man United, it had to be Rooney who would drop to rescue those situations meant for midfielders.
Fergie still used the same team.that lack quality players to drag the league till the last second 2seasons ago. He won the league with 11points clear and 4games to spare last season. That was his team and he got the best out of them.

Moyes had a whole transfer Window to tinker with the team, but he was still beholding the magnificent old Trafford before the Window closed. If he did not address the issue of the quality we lacked in some departments, it is his problem and not fergie's. So throughout his years of staying in Everton, he never identified United's area of weakness?

If someone is clueless, he is. There is no point arguing it and we are stalked with him till at least end of next season, if things don't improve.

We are not asking for revolution, we want to see evolution.

What we are seeing is dissolution and disillusion.

Oghos1: Those comparing it wit d RVP situation are getting it wrong
There's a difference.

Wit as many strikers on d pitch as possible, fergie literarily bypassed d midfield thru extensive wingplay and of course carrick's exceptional forward passes.

In addition d fire power was there to make d idea a success.

Itz not quite d same with an AM in d mould of ozil.
Ozil in dis team wit that midfield wouldn't have made much difference.
That's just d reality.
I beg to disagree. Ozil in that team would have lifted the team. Even the arrival of such player would have boosted the morale of the dressing room and that is extra 5points.

It would have announced Moyes to the dressing room as a big time coach and by that command more respect.

It would have announced Moyes and Woodhead in the transfer market as a serious minded and astute negotiators instead of comic they turned themselves to.

elampiro: Fellaini was a far more sensible signing for us than Ozil. Forget his flopping display. We needed to stregnten in certain areas.

You guys should not always think you are more sensible than people who run the affairs at the Carriton.
Oga, even the whole of Uk knew Fellaini was not the solution to our problem and neither is he a united quality. He was a panic buying, a complete waste of fund.

So how has the sensible signing fair thus far?

elampiro: Hope you did a scale of preference in school?

You have a limited budget, you are offered a player in an area in which you are okay. Would you waste all your resouces on such a player and neglect the other 3 positions the entire world know you are weak?
Leaving certainty for uncertainty has demonstrated by his end result of no signing, was a case of sheer madness and stupidity combined.

Pls don't call that Afro guy a signing. He is a 27mm white elephant project.

The end justifies the means. His decision of not signing Ozil did not justify anything. Based on that decision, he lacks vision and cannot see beyond his nose.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by superstar1(m): 11:19pm On Dec 08, 2013
The argument over not signing Ozil is baseless.

Is it not better for us to have quality players and don't know where to.fix them but they are handy in case of emergency than we not even having the luxury of a below quality player.

Ozil would have added value, whether as a CAM or LAM. Moyes was too myopic to see it. Would Martinez have allowed that to pass. Capital N-O.

The Beginning of his problems was sacking of the backroom staff.

elampiro: If Moyes were to be in Everton now, even without Lukaku and Barry, he would be around 5th to 7th. Not 9th.

So there is problem in our team beyond the manager. Also, being a new manager at Man United was always going to generate more pressure than being a new manager at Everton. Two successive draws will not put Everton manager under undue pressure from media, bosses, fans and analyst.

Moyes is even courageuos to still be giving post match interview. If I were the one, I would just go straight home to go and weep.
How are we damn sure that your theory of "if it has been another coach, It would have been the same story" is true.

Elampiro you are getting it wrong. We know there will be a v steep curve during the course of the season and we were mentally prepared.

Watching a clueless team being called united without any pattern of play, any feasible playing towards the goal, grandpas kind of football, no philosophy , no expression of ideology are what we did not bargained for. Let us play the normal united way or even the way the current everton is playing, we will take even not qualifying for UCL because we can see a work in progress.

Kindly tell this honourable house, the work in progress you can see in Moyes team.

Politics › Re: Importers Urge FG To Make Onitsha Port Cargo Destination by superstar1(m): 8:42pm On Dec 08, 2013
KenGali: Guys,
Lets talk a bit more about how to go about Achieving this.
The Federal Government has done all it should apart from the international Status Gazette. Which I think we can easily convince GEJ to grant to us.
Beyond this I think am very Happy that the Association of shippers has woken up. They need to take over the concession for us to be able to make this work.

I suggest that the Anambra State Government, should work with this Association to float a Shipping or Port Operations company company that will be aggressive in taking over the concession from the Federal Government. Of course at very minimal cost since it has to develope the commercial activity at the port.

Secondly, we do not really need to dredge the River Niger to ocean depths of like 12ft drafts to have a viable port. A lot of commercial shipping has been developed on the Mississippi and is quite successful and we can learn from them. The cost of Dredging up to 12ft from the current 5ft could as well establish a shipping line for us.

Effectively what we need is a Ship to Ship(STS) transfer centre. This is where cargo from the mother ship will be quickly transferred to barges then brought inland. I have spoken about this and given it some thought severally in the past. There are two options really. Having the STS on shore or in the Middle of the Ocean.

Shore STS will have a lot of issues
with custom,
the shore line state to host it,
the Navy,
possible smuggling.
Delays in the ship turn around time due to the legal clearance requires before a foreign vessel can berth on land
It will be like moving goods from another port, and partly defeats the aim of the quest to Onitsha port.

On the Contrary an STS centre in the middle of the ocean
Will benefit ships in quick turn around time, as the water depth in ocean will allow easy movement
this will require having an adequate number of deck barges and ocean going tuggers to empty the Ship in good time
It can be in international waters, where vessels will not require any clearance from Nigerian Govt. but will be wary of piracy
It is best located within Nigerian Waters, we can lobby for a permanent Naval Presence, for vessel clearance
Mother Vessels will have no need to talk to Nigerian customs, Immigration, etc whatsoever, except the Naval Clearance.

Further
A Ship to Ship transfer can be done in the middle of the ocean without any infrastructure. The Challenge is keeping the vessels steady, which will depend on having calm waters. This will not be reliable for serious commercial operation. However this approach can be used for start off. For the long term, I think the best solution is to buy a decommission oil platform or a very large Vessel and find shallower points in the ocean or stubble islands to mount it. Shipping vessels can be gently anchor to such a structure using a pull in mechanism. That is a lot of Engineering though. But companies like Saipem in Nigeria can accomplish it. This does not rule out further dredging the Niger to 12 ft and above, but leaves it for the future when it will be justified by commercial expediency.

Overall, the Company to be formed by Anambra State Govt, and the the Shiping Association should issue IPO to raise funds. They will need to acquire Deck Barges, I checked online and see some used ones that go for about $500,000.00. Secondly they need to seed the route with about two or three Medium Sized Cargo Ships. I think they can do a time charter of some international vessel and place them on the route to say China, Germany and Singapore for about six months. But we already know the business is not already existing but we must build it up hence I prefer an outright buy of two or three vessels. I think they can get fairly used vessels for about $10,000,000.00 that is roughly N1.6 billion each (Consider that Peter Obi is leaving some N20Billion in coffers). Each vessel doing a round trip a month will be quite adequate for a start. An the STS can be done in open seas. Lets not forget gun boats for security. I think I omitted the price of tuggers, they should cost almost same as the barges or more. It will not be a good idea to use articulated barges.

This will create some good jobs for Anambrarian youths. the ships and barges will be requiring crews. So the state government won't do badly thinking of a maritime shipping school now.

How may times have barca Madrid and Bayern changed and they were in transition.

The quality of our manager and players says it all. We are gradually turning into a mediocre team, a Liverpool of the 90s and 20s.

Moyes does not have the acumen and technical depth to see us through this curve. We are just a thin line between maintain our status as an elite team and falling from grace to grass.

If Moyes will continue as the team manager, he needs good assistants and he needs unlearn his football tactics and re-learn modern football at top level.

Let's face the reality, we are asking too much of the guy. Can you drive a Volkswagen like a Ferrari, is Versace the same thing as tailor loran. If the guy wants to act like atop manager he is being expected by all to be, he will just run mad because he is not anywhere a top manager. Infact he is not even T talk less of top.
