So... The best exit for them is support igbo man the way igbo supported obasanjo and Jonathan or let the North rule till second coming of jesus or Biafra
That is my hardline stand. Any Igbo that says otherwise must be hunted. Enough said.

There is no need to argue about where the president will be coming to in the south, let's learn from northerners, they have produced two presidents from the north west and we never heard from the other northern region that if the north east don't produced president then the south should keep it, no. They are political United despite that some are maginalized and underdeveloped.
The president is supposed to come Down south, regardless of where the presidency is coming let's accept it like that as a southern president that will foster unity among the three southern regions.some Aggrieved citizens In the south east particularly on nairaland do say if the presidency do not come to the south east then the north should keep it. If the north keep on having the president how are we going to be liberated from northern oligarchy? How are will going to achieve restructuring?
Let's support southern presidency irrespective of where he would be coming from.
Southern presidency will foster political unity among the southern tribes. For instance, during obj tenure he appointed lots of igbos In key ministries same as his Yoruba counterpart. Same also goes to Jonathan
Even in Lagos, we have igbos that are LGA chairman, the current chairman of oshodi isolo LGA is Igbo man an I heard of amuwon odofin, and so many Igbo councillors. Same applies in previous and recent Lagos State government cabinet.
So it will foster unity. I'm neither Igbo nor Yoruba but I'm a southerner and I believe in southern unity
[/s] Trash. There's no such thing as Southern Unity. It didn't exist under Jonathan when sw kowtowed northern way due to Osibanjo.

Sw has done there slot, if you are against north retaining power, then there's absolutely no justification for power to go to SW. If SW feels others are not eligible because of their glutinous greed for power, then we'll gladly support north to retain the power as long as they want.

Politics › Re: Declare IPOB A Terrorist Organisation, American Don Tells Biden by Supremos: 6:34am On Oct 06, 2021
[s]
akelicious:
There seems to be a string of compounding woes for the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

Kanu is currently in the custody of Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS) following his arrest in Kenya in June.
However, his ongoing treason trial does not seem to be the end of his travails as international forces have now joined demands for the proscription of his group.

The Federal Government had declared IPOB a terrorist organisation in 2017.

Ivan Sheehan, an American academic who is the executive director of the school of public and international affairs at the University of Baltimore,
in a piece published in The Washington Times, gave reasons why IPOB should be designated as a terrorist group by the US.

Sheehan said the establishment of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) by IPOB signalled the end of the group’s “pretenses of being a peaceful movement”.

He accused IPOB leader of supporting terrorism and issuing threats via Radio Biafra.

“Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB’s leader, is clearly unconcerned. That he feels no need to even disguise his support of terrorism is worrisome.”

“Though IPOB’s principal aim is to restore a breakaway state of Biafra in the southeastern parts of Nigeria, Mr. Kanu’s rhetoric has become increasingly strident, “I don’t want peaceful actualization (of Biafra).
“Mr. Kanu has said through his Radio Biafra channel, used to project threats, instructions, and propaganda into Nigeria from the safety of London, “If they don’t (give us Biafra), they will die.

“Neither does Mr. Kanu make idle threats. The December revelation of IPOB’s 50,000 strong-armed paramilitary wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), complete with a Swastika-style flag, marked the end to all pretenses of being a peaceful movement.

“What had been largely unspoken was publicly declared. Since then, violent IPOB attacks on both security personnel and civilians have surged by a terrifying 59%; deaths by 344%,” he wrote.

Sheeran further explained that tagging the secessionist group with a terror label would “hit IPOB’s wallet hard”, adding that if done, no organisation that uses the US currency would be able to conduct legal transactions with IPOB.

“As soon as the designation is applied, no organization that utilizes U.S. currency would be able to legally conduct transactions with the organization. By cutting off IPOB’s funding, the U.S. would weaken the 50,000 strong paramilitary outfit, and provide Nigeria’s security forces room to train their sights squarely on ISIS-affiliated Boko Haram in the Northeast of the country.”

“Counterterrorism operations against Boko Haram have long been assisted by U.S. agencies working in close coordination with the West African government,” he added.

Minorities of SS are just lucky to have Igbos as neighbors. We have enough evidence to claim most of Rivers State, half of Delta and parts of Bayelsa and Edo states as our territories. However, we are business minded in nature which now makes small ethnic groups like ijaws to be encroaching on our lands.
Even up until now, Israel is still taking lands from Palestine. We wouldn't mind taking such steps.

Politics › Southern Unity; Igbo Will Gladly Vote Another Northerner In 2023, If.... by Supremos(op): 10:26am On Sep 26, 2021
An average Igbo man abhors injustice, and that's the reason we wouldn't mind taking side with a stranger against our own brother.

We only find brotherhood in Justice, Honesty and fair play, not in treachery. We do not partake in sophistry and pretence, and that's why our political leanings can easily be predicted.

Archive this post for posterity sake, come 2023, if all these "Southern Unity" ish being mouthed by the political class especially from Southwest, is a way of blackmailing North out of 2023 presidential race, and then turn around to use the agitations in the southeast to flip "Igbo cannot be trusted with power", to blackmail southeast out of the race, then they will be roundly shocked and defeated.

On many occasions, Ondo state governor who is a core Tinubu loyalist, has been on top of his saying "South won't support any political party that doesn't zone her presidential candidate to the south".

Well that's conditionally true. True because Southeast is in the south. Conditionally because, if they are doing for one okpolo eyed drug Lord Tinubu or the short demented house boy Osibanjo or any other person(s) outside the southeast, then that Truth will turn to fallacy. Because we will see to it that it's dead on arrival.

Two likely scenerios in the southeast come 2023;

1. PDP haven zoned their ticket to the north by default, should APC zone it to Southwest by their political cheese, Southeast will gladly support the North.

2. Absolute/total boycott. There will not be any election in the southeast come 2023 especially presidential election. Any idiot both within and outside southeast that campaigns in southeast, will be neutralized .

Ever carried out a real life opinion survey, on some of the topics being discussed here?.

Well out of curiosity, I did last night.

Not really that I'd wanted to, just by happenstance, I did.

I pulled over, to make a quick withdrawal from a POS machine, lo and behold, a very beautiful dark skinned lady, with a large ifedi behind, immediately, I got attracted to her, her name is Belema, and it turned out she's Okrika lady from Rivers State, and everything transpired in between the short period we discussed, and we found ourselves having dinner at "Choppee" a popular sit-out in the city of Eket.

Okrika 'Ijaw' lady, a POS attendant in Eket?.

Well, discussions ensued, nothing was off the table.
But u took a particular interest on her tribe. Why? Because I've not dated any ijaw girl before, and infact I never met any ijaw girl outside Rivers State and Bayelsa. I do see Ijaw guys though.

Note I was referring to her as Ijaw, but I didn't outrightly call her Ijaw in the cause of all our discussions, until I said, WOW, I've never dated Ijaw girl before. And responded, who's Ijaw girl?.
I said but you said you're Okrika, and she said of course, and I said from all I've been reading from Ijaw folks on Nairaland, Okrika is Ijaw.
Belema thundered what sort of rubbish is that, Okrika is Okrika, we're not anybody. I asked her. I'd loved to invite her to Nairaland but she's currently using small phone.
