There's been an effort by a section of the country whose favourably disposed to the candidacy of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of APC, due to ethnic and religious affiliation, and to an extent the APC led federal government, to paint Mr Peter Obi's presidential candidacy and the Obidient youth movement as an ethnic movement and struggle of Igbos.

Let's state categorically that Obidient movement is a pan Nigerian and African youths good governance and economic emancipatory movement.

The movement though seen as a Nigerian political thing, has supports from sane minds across the global and from African youths especially.
Little wonder a TikToker Awah who hails from Cameroon is among those spearheading the movement, giving moral support albeit from her home country Cameroon with the hope that the positive effect would trickle down to her home country.
A video of Awah has emerged, as she enumerated her reasons and benefits of joining the movement.

It would be wrong for the usual enemies of the masses, and those whom the consider as their new frontiers to deepen the chains of the masses using ethnicity and religion as the vehicle, to continue in this evil and wicked part of blackmailing Obidients.
The Soyinka's of this world, the double mouthed Femi Fani Kayode's, the Bayo Onanuga's, the criminal drug cliques and their Lord, should be resisted at all cost.

I don't know how someone will be running a business like nairaland in such a diverse Country like Nigeria and systematically being discriminative towards a tribe as big as the Igbos? One tribal bigot made the following offensive comment:
" I'm disappointed in Igbos that trade banters online especially on Nairaland, Twitter, Linda Ikeji's blog. They are so shameless they don't know their history stinks. "

With the bolded statement above, this guy is indirectly insulting not just the entire Igbo people, but also their ancestors. As part Igbo myself I found this very offensive and I responded with a similar post insulting this guy and his tribe too, note that I wouldn't have insulted him if he didn't insult my tribe first.

All of a sudden one tribal discriminating infested mod came to block me and deleted my post, stating that I broke rule 2, the same rule 2 that this Yoruba guy broke by saying: " They are so shameless they don't know their history stinks. "

This mod didn't delete the Yoruba guy's post or block the Yoruba guy.
You don't mix sentiment with business otherwise you will crash, nairaland use to be a free and fair website for all Nigerians, but now it seems seun has employed some ethnic discriminating bigots who feel the need to favour Yoruba bullies.

A Federal Capital Territory High Court has issued an order restraining the National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure; National Secretary, Farouk Ibrahim and two others from parading themselves as national officers of the party.

Others stopped from parading themselves as national officers are the National Organising Secretary, Clement Ojukwu and the Treasurer, Oluchi Opara.

Justice Hamza Muazu issued the restraining order while ruling in ex-parte application argued by a James Onoja.

In an application, Onoja told the court how the restrained National officers allegedly forged several documents of the FCT High Court to carry out unlawful substitutions in the last general elections.

Among the documents were the receipts, seal and affidavits of the Court to carry out criminal activities.

The Senior Counsel also tendered several documents, confirming to the Judge that the Chief Registrar of the Court, wrote the Labour Party to disown several documents used for the alleged criminal activities by Abure and three others.

Onoja adds that following their indictment by police investigation, the four people are to be arraigned in court adding that warrants for their arrest have already been obtained.

In a brief ruling, Justice Muazu held that the application and the supporting affidavits are a good case for the request to be granted.

The Judge subsequently ordered that the four people should immediately stop parading themselves as National Officers of Labour Party.
