Good day fruitful Mothers,

Pls my fellow Mamas av been trying to conceive for a while now, there is always one story or another each time i go for test or scan.
Though i conceived in february but lost it at 8weeks.
The latest now is that d doctor said i have a large ovarian Cyst of 7.8cm and endometrioma of 4.8cm. He said i need
laparoscopic surgery. This surgery is
expensive in d private hospital i was diagnosed (350k). Pls which teaching hospital does it well. I dont mind d location as long as its in Nigeria and d price is reduced.
Also can dis so called endometrioma prevent conception
Sorry about your cyst sis. I understand how u feel as I also have a cyst on my left side not as big as yours though. Note that most cyst do not hinder conception if they do not affect your ovulation. Endometrioma is also one of the types of cyst that exist and this particular cyst unfortunately hinders conception. You may want to seek another doctors opinion though. My doctor suggested I manage to conceive with it if it isn't disturbing my day to day activities which is what I have decided to go with. I also mind what I consume now as diary product, red meat etc worsen it. Pls do more research on Google b4 u make a decision. Take care

The tests except for Progesterone are best done and interpreted for CD 3. I don't know about the results at CD 21. The interpretation I gave is for CD 3 but should still fairly be ok.

My apologies, didn't pass on purpose oh. Good say you no vex. As for your result, your FSH shows you have an excellent Ovarian reserve. There's also not an indication of PCOS going by your LH to FSH ratio which is closer to 1:1 . Your Prolactin is high but not very high so Cabbage and Vit B6 should sort you out. Just make Cabbage your best friend on a daily basis and drink lots of water. If you can eat plain steamed ewedu that's also ok. I believe there's no cause for Prolactin drugs for now.
As for your Progesterone, the level shows you
ovulated in that cycle. Where you on any
Ovulation drug? I assume your LH,FSH and Prolactin test was done on CD3?

My hormonal profile(prolactin, lh, progesterone and fsh) is normal. I see my period every month. I have been using this OPK since and it has shown only 2negative since last year.
It started in February this year after I took 'Ovaboost for women' then 'Vitex'.

Since March, the ole buruku cyst has come to stay o although it hasn't grown more than 5x5cm.
Abeg experienced sabi mamas, I will appreciate your input.
Let us help each other anyway we can in this journey.

Just hearing this for the first time. I wouldn't want to discredit the Lab, But Even if it's right / done, it's a very uncommon practise. I'll suggest you go with the popular and common practice that almost every Dr and everyone who knows about Fertility test can relate with.

That's how early ttc years when I never sabi anything, I went for CD21 test and was informed that there are other hormonal tests. The Lab guy convinced me and I did both FSH, LH etc on CD 21. At the end it was a waste of my money. I don't even know how their juju catch me that I didn't even call my Dr then to verify if I should do the tests na him send me go for the CD21 test. Much later Dr explained that he didn't request for the other tests because they're better done on CD3 and I had already passed that before I came to him and that's why he decided to start with just Progesterone.

Please sabi sabi mamas in the house, I dey greet. Make una help me put mouth for this matter. I took Dostinex, vitamin B6 and folic acid because of hormonal imbalance. I am supposed to see AF on the 27th of this month but up till now, I have not seen it o. My question now is does these drugs disrupt AF? Please make una answer me so that I go begin find black goat b4 night falls. Thanks and God bless.

Hello beautiful mums, I discovered this thread few months ago after Ttc for a while. I never tot conceiving will be an issue until tried for several months after marriage without success. I would feel pregnancy symtoms which always turned out neg. my AF reduced to any 1 day instead of 3/4days, ran to a clinic and was placed on injections to treat infections. After treatment the usual symtoms continued. Changed to a general hospital and after series of test, scan I was certified ok. I req for hormone test but I was asked to return after 3mnts. I prayed to God for directions, and read abt the symtoms I was having and everything pointed towards the high prolactin. I went to a pharmacy got bromegon, I started with half morning and half evening for 2days before moving to 1/1. The side effects was terrible and dh asked me me stop using it after abt 1week. I noticed the pregnancy symtoms stopped. It's one mnt nw and I missed my period a test confirmed a BFP .So grateful to God.t king of kings. May every woman Ttc receive her testimony IJN Amen.

@suremum its well. I used 1cap 3x daily and used 3bottles forgot how many in a bottle. the doc that did my scan suggested it he said it could go on its own and I insisted I wanted something to help it go. He said many of His patients said it helped. was afraid it might be a dreadful as fibroids so immediately bought d 3 bottles he said it might require and went back for scan though was sure it cleared cos d pain that came wit AF stopped. He saw 2both sides don't know how many you might need

Sorry Dear. You can try Castor Oil Pack Massage and Clean point Tampon or Guaifebao. They should help dissolve the cyst.

He's been supportive all these years..after almost 8yrs and age factor plus family pressure I just feel like letting him go and enjoy his life. 4realwoman I sent you PM.

I'm beginning to love this group,i thank God for those that have gotten their BFP congratulations,God will perfect all. God that did it for you will do it for us all. Please for the sake of those that just joined can we each share what we are taking at the moment. I've been married for some years and I have lost 2 pregnancies so far. I'm trying to conceive at the moment like I said yesterday or the day before I just started pregnacare conception and DH is taking the wellman conception,im hoping for the best. Is it possible for one to have regular period and not ovulate?I don't see that cervical mucus anymore also. I pray that the Lord will grant our heart desires and fulfil His word that says there is no barren in the Land. God bless us all.
