I understand you perfectly ma, cos my baby has d same issue. His paedetrician prescribed stuffs for him and they never work. When mil was coming to canada where i live, she brought agbo and blacksoap. forwhere,d thing did not work. I had sleepless night, browsed d internet, cried self cos i felt i couldnt help my baby. I used all aveeno products including the new night balm nothing worked until i mix a little funbact A inside plenty shea butter reluctanly cos of what i have heard and read about it. I use d mixture of his face for just 5days n stopped then his body for 2weeks. And then did a mixture of sheabutter, coconut oil and a little bit of olive oil as his normal cream. Now, my babys face is sooo fresh.(Though he stil has some mark on his stomach which is fading out with each passing day)
What i am trying to say in essence is that once other methods fail and u cant just watch the so called ela spoil ur babys skin, you wont know when u will mix skineal abi funbact a with ori. My advice is to do it for a very short time and stop. I never regret ever doing it.

Pls, what can I do to get my baby to eat her food. She doesn't take her pap or cereals anymore. Even if I try to force her she'll just keep it inside her mouth without swallowing it. It's becoming draining for me.

Please experienced mums, is nospamin safe to treat colic? I already inquired at the hospital and they said a big fat NO saying there's no cure for colic and it will eventually pass, while nospamin causes babies to accumulate gas in their belly and make it swell. but my Mum and MIL claims its safe during their time and I'm really tempted to ask my mum to get it as she has been on my neck to ignore the hospitals opinion.

This incessant cry from my baby is making me lose my mind. She is unusually inconsolable, draws up her leg like she's in pain and squeezes her face in pain when crying. And it always in the midnight when we all need good sleep. I don't know what to do!

Please i need some clarification. I'm a new dad and my girl is 6 month plus two week. My wife did EBF for 5 month, She stopped at 5 month because she will resume work by 6 month so we decided to introduce baby food by end of 5 month, this was done because we have a plan to start dropping her somewhere from morning till evening; we do not wants her to cry too much for breastmilk. Since then, it's serious struggle, we bought cerelac, friso, heinz, aptamil, nan 1& 2, sma,nutriben, all this august secret stuff etc. She will take very few the first day and the next day she will reject it outrightly and i will be advice to get another brand. That was how we end up with all those brand. Meal time is always crying/struggling time.
I told my mum and she said we should bring her to her house, so my wife relocated to my mum's place; three days after, i went to visit to know how shes doing and i saw my baby taking amala and ewedu/pepper, smiling and even shaking her head to the background music. She was just happy. Later mumsy made moin moin for the house and DD took her own part, eating with joy, i also observed mumsy gives her rice (jollof,white, friedrice) and she did not reject any of it. She eat whatever the whole family is eating; except eba/garri. Her favourite is ewedu soup with fish, rice, moinmoin, beans and pap. Wifey also breastfeed maybe once or twice a day. She hardly cry during meal time. She was 6.7kg when we took her there, she's now 8.4 now (just within a month with mumsy). 4.0 at birth.
The truth is, am happy but worried somehow. Please with all this adult food shes taking, any cause for concern?

y not bottle feed him first, semi solid food like paper, cereals etc instead of Spoon feed

Yes. I don't believe a child can have too much milk so whether or not cereal has milk I still add.

This rice and even the oats are quite tasteless compared to cerelac but we used them between four and six months. At six months we switched to friso.

Yes EBF, he's feeding well, I had to increase my water intake yesterday sha, it's d diaper he wore around 9 pm after his bath, he sweats though not really much, I noticed some were totally dry and some with just little smell of urine.
Like yesterday after church I removed his diaper from 1:30pm till some mins to 5 and he didn't pee throughout that period.

Pls mamas, what is the norm behind covering babies head and keeping them in a hot environment? These grand mothers won't stop. The weather is frigging hot, my baby sweats a lot and starts crying until I turn on fan before he sleeps well. He pulls the head warmer every time we put it on him. Mamas pls help. I need to know why that is necessary.

Good morning mamas. I have come again. Biko help me again. My son is now 6 weeks we are still doing only breast milk. He seems satisfied. But the problem now is he has reduced his frequency of pooing. He used to poo like 3 times a day but now to poo once in 24 hours is hard labour. My mom had to use warm water in his anus before he could pass poo. He had cried and cried before she decided to do it and immediately he pooed he slept off soundily. Pls help me

when I first noticed eela on my baby's body, I took him to his paed, what I was given didn't work, I bath him with the wine leave for a month, it worked at first and stopped working. I didn't use skineal directly on baby's skin like some mothers do, I believed the ori has suppressed the ugly work it could do. baby will outgrow it very soon and I'll stop

About the rhesus factor issue, pls how does this test work? I am rhesus negative but I always straight up take my rhogam after each delivery, for the first I took twice,one at 28wks and the other after delivery. I have never had to do any further testing during pregnancy since I am certified rhesus negative. My doctor thinksi should just the injection straight up since there it's a tiny chance of the baby being rhesus negative.
Pls is there a way this test can give a chance of not take anti-D? As the price is not smiling, I don't know the current price but someone said its 30-40k, I have no idea as I got my last one 2yrs ago for N16,500.
Pls does any one know the current market price?
