thank you ma i got the progesterone yesterday night since the spotting has stoppe i was advised to keep on with the tablet twice daily...am not taking any chances at all looking for a good hospital around yaba akoka axis if you knw anyone around pls reconmend. thank you

@ the bolded, that's the reason why it's advisable you wait till at least 8weeks before you do a scan because by then the scan will speak for itself. I also think you should change your hospital asap, considering that they are not taking the spotting seriously just like your previous pregnancy. Like others have advice please go to a reputable pharmacy and buy a progesterone injection, it better safe than sorry. In my time I had it once a week till 14 weeks, it was administered on my thigh. It shall end in praise this time.

I did the scan yesterday and I realized say equipment get levels, scaning machine get class. Mama's pls never settle for one scan result, go to CLINIX or MECURE (dunno if I got the spelling) to get a 2nd opinion. All these DR's in hospitals who are not consultants (but they can be very arrogant ehn) will press the living daylight out of my innocent belle for almost 20mins and diagnose akika.

This new scan lasted for just 5mins and the sonographer was enjoying my Bobo's karate moves. At 18weeks+ Bobo no gree this my poor belle rest o. Na soso punch. The machine wrote XY instantly + edd+ when I saw my last period (I fear fear cos it was accurate o)+ it Showed I had big fibroid too and a posterior Implantation placenta ( The 1st scan I did in the first hospital said its low lying placenta). Infact the result came out with printed pics of my baby's kpekus .

The diagnosis of the hospital I'm using were wrong + the Dr that did the scan is proud and saucy, very arrogant thing. I went for tushness and their Dr'S look cool like say den go sabi work wella. Foreigners in the estate use same hospital, so I was thinking they will make brain. I later realized their packaging is what we all are going for. They made me lose my other twin cos we begged for a scan at 9weeks to be sure I don't have fibroid but they refused. I had to go to this 2nd hospital 2weeks after and they did the scan but my baby wasn't breathing well again due to d fibroid. In all I thank God the 2nd is okay. Ope ni mo n da.

The new hospital I'm using now is not glittering like gold but it's very okay. I remember telling dh I can't use d place but they saved my life with God's help these past few weeks. They have well trained and experienced Dr's with good manners. They have a sonographer too and he did a great job cos his diagnosis was close to that of clinix. The new hospital referred me to the diagnostic centre I used yesterday for a 2nd opinion (u see better hospital), the first hospital will never do that, they won't even allow you do scan on a normal day except Tues and Thurs which is their antenatal days.

From the result baby is 100% fine and active and every is fine. Spotting is due to stress. I'm so happy now and I'm seriously resting. Spotting haf stopped now. I'm going g herbal too cos of d big fibroid, I have a good alagbo, an expert in the game since the 80's. In all I thank God.

A big congratulations to all the mama's that have birthed their LO's. May God continue to be with each and everyone of us here. We will not experience any loss in this group.

All this story I wrote is cos of my sister here @Surulady. Please, don't wait for your Dr, run to Clinix or Mecure to check how this precious baby you are carrying is doing. If possible change hospital. Please. You will carry to terms by God's grace.

In the main time, try to drink water, no heavy lifting, bedrest and just take things easy and keep declaring God's word over your precious baby, your vine shall NOT cast its fruit before its time.

thank you so much maam,i went for the scan,and doctor was not around to attend to me at the hospital but i met a mid wife she said am only experiencing implantation that i dont need to worried.
please for the progesterone can i just go into a pharmacy and ask for progesterone or is there any other name it is called?i will be expecting a response from you ma.so i can get it today....

Please stop crying. It's okay to spot as long as you are not cramping especially this early. Go to the hospital for a scan for them to know if the baby Is okay. And please tell them to give you progesterone drug or injection. The injection works faster. You will be okay
in Jesus name.


If they don't give you please go and buy in a reputable pharmacy.
When you get back, be on strict bed rest. Dont do anything in the house Biko.

I know someone who spotted at 5 weeks, 8 weeks with blood clot. and 10 weeks and the baby is okay. She is 14 weeks now . You will be fine

Good morning ma’s pls help me out I woke up to pee at 3am and blood came out after the urine,and stopped immediately,when I pee again by 7:30 small blood still came out and stopped again. I did pt test again last night ti the fact that am not having any symptoms or ms after 6wks jst to confirm It was positive.now am so scared I’ve been crying since morning I don’t want to loose this again.shld I go for scan or go to the hospital pls help me hubby has been warnin me that he doesn’t want to hear story again this time am so scared right now.I've prayed with faith

but what is CM ma?
nobody gave me its part of the drugs i have in first aid box.more i treated infection in july and went for test again after the treatment i was fine,

CM can also mean you're pregnant or infection.
Who gave you the Flagyl?
You can wait till you're 8/10wks gone before going for a scan or go now.
You should also discuss with doctor about low progesterone.

Pls don't use any drug for now, is d discharge with odour? If not, it may be d increased discharge associated with pregnancy. Just watch it for some time. Am so sure it is not infection cos I Ve same in my two pregnancies. You carry to term by God's grace

Good day mama"s congratulations to the new moms,and saafe delivery to the waddling moms, am here again after my last experience while having smptom and dr gave me series of antibiotics not knowing i was preggy i later lost the pregnancy.this time am scared of going to that same hospital after testing positive and no symptoms,according to my LMP i shld be 6wks today without any symptoms,but i noticed a whitish discharge am a little itches dowm there,duo ive not done any scan.
please ma what do i do
shld i go to the DR?
is flagyl safe at this stage?
is the discharge normal ?

You need not worry ma.I did not experience MS to point I was pregnant. I was having cramps which make me to anticipate my period for the month but my sleeping on duty on daily basis and craving for early breakfast which I'm not known for prompted me to consult google and my finding made me to run pt and it turn out positive. So relax ma and count yourself lucky if you don't have ms.


My first scan was at 6weeks 5days.

Yes it is but don't trouble your mind too much, most times ms sets in from 8 weeks or may not even show face if you're so lucky.

Yes its possible, I didn't knw I was pregnant bt noticed I was eating more than usual and was having cramps as if my period will start anytime but lo and behold I was pregnant and wasn't even aware. it was immediately i knew my body changed and i started having pregnancy symptoms but the abdominal cramps still persist for a while b4 it stopped.

You may need cerclage or meds to support the pregnancy next time. Ask your doctor for those so you can have it in place as soon as you conceive again. Take it to God in prayer and you will carry to term by His grace.

Most losses in first trimester are as a result of chromosomal abnormalities, Rhesus factor, stress or hormonal imbalance.
Since this is the second time, I'll advise you rp find out what the underlying cause is so that you can prevent further miscarriages.

TODAY I DID ANOTHER PT ON MONDAY IT WAS STILL POSITIVE.AM SO SCARED RIGHT NOW.
