Every relationship » comes with some rough patches and good seasons, however, it becomes a source of concern if the bad times becomes extended. If you are always disagreeing with your partner, even on small issues, and constantly fighting, then it's obvious that both of you are in the wrong relationship. Sometimes, it appears as if things are rosy again, and this gets you confused. Are you in love with this person or not? Here are 7 sure signs that you are absolutely NOT in love with your partner: 1. He is not the one you run to: When you are troubled about something, it is only normal that the first person you turn to is the man in your life. However, if you find it easier to confide in some other person who isn't your boyfriend/ husband, then it means you don't trust him enough to share your feelings with him. This is a sure sign that there's trouble in paradise. 2. Little things get you angry: When you pick a fight with him simply because he didn't tighten the toothpaste cap after use, or tell him to keep quiet when he whistles in the shower, it means you don't love him. If you do, you wouldn't make such a fuss over little things to the point of starting a quarrel. If every of his flaws irritate you or you find it quite unbearable to be beside him for more than 10 minutes, please end the relationship or else you're heading for disaster. 3. You dress up with other men in mind: Dressing up for your man should be a pleasure and not a chore. If you catch your self daydreaming about some other guy or dressing to attract the attention of the guy in question, then there's a major problem. It means you're in a relationship with this other guy and not your current partner. Dear sister, you are so not in love with your boyfriend! 4. The thought of marrying him makes you sick: Ladies start dreaming about walking down the aisle with the man they love from the very moment they realise that they have strong feelings for him. However, if you've been in a relationship with this guy for years and you still can't picture yourself standing beside him at the altar, or the thought of spending the rest of your life with him makes you sick in the stomach, then obviously you shouldn't be with him at all. 5. You don't feel at home with his family: You know how it is in Nigeria when your guy's family get to know you're his leading lady and they start treating you like his wife. If you constantly feel nervous being around them or you feel guilty because you know deep down that you will never be their daughter-in- law, then of course, you know what that means. You don't belong there! 6. You always compare your relationship to others: If you love you're man and you're happy to be with him, you wouldn't care what other people are doing in their relationship. Even the little rough patches you experience in the relationship won't feel like problems because you'll always find a way to sort them out. But if that isn't the case in your relationship, then something is terribly wron somewhere. 7. You don't respect each other: If you are always berating your man in public and he constantly returns the favour, you two should consider calling it quits before the situation gets out of hand. You wouldn't disrespect a person you love when you are together, let alone in public. Mind you, respect doesn't particularly have to do with age, it simply shows that you value your partner and the role he plays in your life. |

Last years election came with so much blood-shed in the northern part of our country, due to that many pple (westerners, southerners, and easterners) are running for their lifes, many ran in december 2014, and many ran january this year, and many are still running. Now we have heard a devastating news saying d election have been postponed for 6 weeks.. Now my questions are 1) all those who have travelled expecting to return later in febuary, wat will be dier fate? 2) all those who took food stuffs that will last dem only for febuary, wat do they live on for the rest of the six weeks? 3) all those took a month leave for the whole of febuary, wat will be their fate? 4) all who bought non-refundable tickets, wat do they do? |

Nigerian football was thrown into a sad state with the announcement of the demise of a former national team goalkeeper, Wilfred Agbonavbare who died in Spain after a long battle with cancer. He was aged 48. Five important things about him that may have not been known or told 1. Wilfred Agbonavbare was part of the first Nigerian team to qualify for an international competition; the 1983 FIFA U-20 World Cup. 2. He and wife died from the same cause, Cancer; He was working as a delivery boy and a goalkeeper coach before he succumbed to the illness. 3. Agbonavbare was nicknamed ‘Flying Cat’ for his diving prowess; he, however, started fumbling towards the early kick- off of the last decade and would later recoined Wilfred ‘Agbonabasket’. As a result, Peter Rufai became Nigeria’s first at the 1994 Nations Cup. 4. He is the fourth member of the 1994 Nations Cup winning team to have passed away 5. He was part of the Tunisia 1994 Nations Cup winning team; the country finally lifting the trophy after three successive silver spells in 1984, 1988 and 1990. |

HOW MUCH MORE BLOOD FOR THE AMBITION OF ONE? What you are about to read would shake you to the bottom of your being, it would challenge every single rationality you ever had about the Nigerian situation, but its the truth nonetheless. Barely 7 days ago, CNN ran a story about the sorry state of the Nigerian army - describing it as "disorganized" and UNDEREQUIPPED to battle the Boko Haram terrorists in North East Nigeria. Well, this wasn't much of news to Nigerians as it was merely a confirmation of eye witness accounts (by soldiers in the North East) regarding the level of rot and corruption within the military ranks. Soldiers have always complained about obsolete weapons, ammunitions etc - and the army chiefs with the Presidency have constantly denied these claims maintaining that the army is well equipped as a justification for the TRILLIONS allocated so far for Security. The Presidency, and the army chiefs have continuously come under fire because of this. Okay... Again, on the 21st January 2015 - just two days ago, while a huge section of Nigerians were thrown into an elaborately planned machiavellian distraction owing to the almost unending argument over Muhammadu Buhari's qualification as the APC Presidential flag bearer, another event - which usually would have taken the centre stage - occured. ABUBAKAR SHEKAU RELEASED ANOTHER VIDEO. The 36 minutes long video would usually have passed for one of his lengthy rantings but then, a few remarks (listed below) made by Shekau and his men would get any sound analyst thinking: 1. "...your army kept deceiving the world that you can’t fight us because you have no ARMS. LIARS! You have all that it takes..." 2. "....we carried out the Baga massacre, and WE ARE GOING TO DO MORE...." 3. "...we are now showing the world all the ARMS and AMMUNITION that we got from the Nigeria army barracks in Baga, Doron-Baga, Mile-4 and this barrack. What we have in our armoury now, plus all that we had before is enough to execute a victorious war against the whole Nigeria...." 4. "...all these ARMS and AMMUNITION you see in their thousands are gotten from Baga..." - words uttered by one of the Boko Haram members while conducting the camera around a large a cache of ARMS and AMMUNITIONS, as he gave details on each weapon and how they were obtained. *The whole drama seemed to be centred about 2 main issues: - The Ammunitions. *they almost could not stop hammering on it* - Promise of more terror. *really scared for the Northerners o* hmmm... Now, while it is a well known fact that the Boko haram is an internationally sponsored terrorist group with the backing of a few POLITICAL FIGURES. And yeah, Nigeria is at the verge of making a major POLITICAL decision - this video comes barely 22 days to that decision. There is no disputing the fact that the video is not unrelated to the present state of the NIGERIAN POLITY. Whatever the case may be, this video is meant to favour the ambition of one of our POLITICIANS. The question now is: #Which of the Nigerian prominent politicians does Abubakar Shekau's new video stand to favour? *it is common fact in intelligence gathering that - *the individual who stands to benefit from a crime is most likely the perpetrator*. While one could strike out this logic on the basis that "some individuals are framed for crimes they never committed"; the reality of the Nigerian situation proves otherwise - MOST NIGERIANS ARE GULLIBLE AND WOULD WHOLLY ACCEPT ALL THAT'S POTRAYED IN THAT VIDEO AS THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH, especially since there's just very little time to sift out the facts as the election's now so close. So, my dear friends - ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the frontline contenders for the Nigerian Presidency - Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari. From the facts thus far, which of these 2 men stand to gain from Abubakar Shekau's latest video? *Comment your views |

It is generally agreed that we need more business start-ups. Small businesses are engines for economic growth, innovation and employment. We need more entrepreneurial activity and that means more individuals taking the dangerous, difficult and courageous decision to start their own business. How do you go about starting a new business? Well obviously you need a good idea. Once you have one I recommend that you ask yourself these questions: 1. Am I good at this? Do I have the skills; talents and experience that will help me succeed in this venture? Make a list of your strengths and weaknesses. Does this venture play to your strengths? How can you compensate your weaknesses? 2. Do people really need what I will offer? Who will buy it and why will they need it? If there is no customer need then the business will fail. 3. Can I make money doing this? Once it is up and running will it make a good profit? If not, why bother? 4. Do I have a business plan? Things will not go according to your plan but the act of making the plan helps you greatly. You will need a sound written plan if you want a loan or investment. 5. Do I have the financial resources to get this off the ground? New businesses generally take more time and more money than you at first expect. Will you be able to build the business and cover your living costs for the period until cash flow is positive? 6. Does my family support me in this initiative? It is important to discuss your plans with your immediate family and get their buy-in. It will be needed in the difficult months ahead. 7. What is different about my business? Is it similar to other businesses or do I have something unique to offer? Why will customers choose us rather than the competition? It is more important to be different than to be better. 8. What is my sales and marketing strategy? Who is the target market and how will I reach them? Can we test the sales proposition with some target clients before we go live? 9. Do I have a support network of colleagues or friends who can help me and compensate for my weaknesses or lack of experience? Most successful start-ups are partnerships where there is a balance of strengths. If you do not have partners in the business do you have a network of contacts and helpers who can advise and assist? 10. Is there a plan B? If things do not go according to plan is there a fall-back strategy for me personally and for the business? Am I flexible enough to adapt and cope with the vicissitudes of a start-up? You need positive answers to most if not all the question. Even then it will take enormous commitment and hard work to make the new venture a success. Good luck with your new start up |
