This post reeks of corruption embedded mentality, with words like Juicy contracts, rewards. Not surprised Sha, it's their way. |
I believe people who think and act with emotions should not be blamed. They simply lack the power to see beyond their nose. Ethnic, religious, family, etc sentiments are due to their inability to think wider than what they see. You might say greed play a long role too, but, I believe greed itself is a big sign of low thinking faculty. There are multiplier effects to every of our actions, both short and long term. If people could only see negative effects of their actions today, maybe they won't have acted the way they did. Abi what do you think?. |
Not everyone can be an entrepreneur. You do well sir. Only the strong survives. Let's hope SanwoOlu see this. |
I don't care where the president comes from as long as He/she will restructure this country. Formulate favourable policies. May God help us in choosing right. |
Nigeria is unsafe. Period. Educated people are detribalized. It says something about the tribal animals on this forum. |

Hello everyone, how long did it take you to save up for your first car and what kind of car was it. I am also going to create three sceneries here, One, for someone who earns about 100k-150k naira a month. How long do you think they should save for their First car. Two, for someone with a income of 200k to 300k and three, for someone below 500k. What kind of advice will you give those in that income range that want to save up for a car. # royalroy |
The northerners are lucky. They just don't know it. Imagine rewarding ex-thugs! |
livinbygrace:I'm quietly and intently following a 19 year old (or thereabouts). Who is a Cryto Lord. I have a friend who's a PhD holder at 26. And several young people who are entrepreneurs, I mean, successful ones. So, I have people like that in my world too, and I know what I'm talking about. |
livinbygrace:Ha, where we enter Lai dis! ![]() I was talking about the fraudsters and intending ones. |
Loewe:Oga Loewe, I just stated what I've observed. Btw, I read for a living sir. |
Bigchristo:The government is a product of the society. The government carries most of the blame, yes, but how do you explain a 16year old who hasn't even gained admission talkless of a job, already thinking and actively trying to secure the bag. I've seen 13, 14 year olds who are scammers. Do you say that's as a result of unemployment? I've seen sons and daughters of middle class or even rich Nigerians that are into fraud. What do you call that? Our society is lacking morals. Simple. The government is made up of Nigerians, our brothers and sisters, moms and dads. They can't give what they don't have. Morals. Our value is system is eroded. Gone. |
These guys see "yahoo" fraud, as a legit hustle. They think they are working hard too. This generation is psychologically bleeped up. We've failed as a society. |
If Dem like make Dem break each other's head with plank. Nigeria Sha must move forward. 2023 must be different. Positively. Any right thinking Nigerian knows these guys do not have Nigeria's interest at heart. They just want power. |
Hmmn like they were never there before.E jus dey pain me how gullible and myopic some Nigerians are. |
I hope it's for the good of the country but I doubt it. |
You stepped on a snake! some People get mind oh |
He's now a sinner cos he didn't defect with them. This country ehn! If he's corrupt, it only means the governor is corrupt too. They should investigate them both. Lousy hypocrites. |

Ulunne777:Thank you ma. |
Thank you all. I think changing that school is the only thing that can keep my mind at rest now. The thought of her being beaten or scolded in a very harsh manner scares me. With the way that teacher was sounding, she was really frustrated. |
ozonechrome:Thank you. Do you think enrolling her in a Montessori school would be better? |
Kobojunkie:It's not about me, I'm only concerned about her welfare ( you know how things can be in school when you are not considered smart enough) I dont want her to go through that. I couldn't read until I was eight. I graduated best of my class in primary n junior sec school. So I know that that she isn't coping now doesn't mean she's daft. No. I just want a means to make her at least average in class, to avoid being bullied. Frustrated teachers are the worst bullies. |
Hello here, I am really sad right now, I'm confused. My daughter's teacher called me to tell me she's not coping in class, she even said she organized extra lesson for her. She can't tell the difference between figures and number, she can write figure one and letter A. Nothing else. She doesn't come home to recite poems or anything but she sings those songs she hears from other kids or anywhere. Just not the school ones. I love my daughter, I adopted her at age 1 and since then I have been trying to make life easier for her, I got a tab for her at 2 and half, She has toys, bikes, everything a kid should have for mental and academic growth. I make sure she doesn't get mentally stressed. I love to make her comfortable. She's very active, smart ( in my own view). She operates my phone and her tab just fine, She understands complex conversations. I make learning fun for her, I've tried everything. Please, parents, teachers, experienced adults. I need your help here. I don't know what being tagged "a slow learner" would do to her mental health. I need her to catch up. |
