My brother, my family is not like Nigeria. Nigeria is a Federal Republic...with a President, Vice President, National Security Advisor, Cheif of Staff, SGF, Ministers and Permanent secretaries and very complex departments that make the country work well. He sure can leave whenever he feels like leaving. Unless you are implying that GEJ is involved in the hour to hour running of all the affairs in every single ministry/parastatal in Nigeria, Including the military and police

He is The President of Nigeria for Gods sake...if a part of a country doesnt want his leadership other parts of the country do! and they deserve the best out of their president. He is the President of Nigeria...he can go anywhere he likes, war or no war. The last thing a Commander In Chief of an Army should do is to show weakness or admit defeat. He should go anywhere he wants so that the public will think everything is fine but deep inside of him he knows that almost everything is going wrong.

I think its callous for you guys to be attacking this guy like this. Leave him alone jor. He stated an opinion, you all should either respect it or ignore it. For those who don't know, dedeike (real name Uchenna Ike) is the son of Dishonourable Chinenye Ferdinand Ike, the member representing Isiala Ngwa North/South constituency in the Federal House of Representatives. He was actually quite different during his days as an activist in UNIBEN where he studied Law but has come around to his father's way of thinking. Ask him what his father has done for Isiala Ngwa people in the years he has been a representathief.

Dude...this is just my opinion. Tell me how any of these proposals would set Nigeria back 60 years? The point I'm trying to drive accross is that we need to reduce the cost of governance and salaries of people in government.

1.) Reduce the size of government by limiting the number of ministries to 10 and scrapping that Minister of State nonsense cus theres a permanent secretary for that.
2.) Dissolve some states into one. Like the North should get 4 states and the South should get 4 states.
3.) Make the states as we know it now into local governments.
4.) Reduce the size of government by capping the number of state ministries to 7 and reducing the number of permanent secretaries appointed.
5.) Making the governors less powerful by any means necessary.
6.) Introduce an ACT that makes it possible to recall ANY elected official. Especially governors and LGA chairs.
7.) Introduce an ACT that authorizes states to set up and run their own police department because the states know their terrain more than some bureaucrat in Abuja.
8.) Introduce an ACT abolishing the current salary structure of gov officials and capping recurrent expenditure at 30%
