Does rotation cause a standing fan to consume more power?
of course the motor necessary for that is going to be needing some sort of power.

Government investing in power projects is not a smart move. That was the genesis of all the wasted monies by Obasanjo and others. Same happens every time government spends money on refineries in the past. It's better for government to create a conducive environment for private investors and allow them to invest in power projects rather than using government money. An example was the old govt telephone company, NITEL, compared to when private investors like MTN, ECONET,GLO entered the field. That revolutionalized the telecoms sector. Government should do same with power.
people that can afford 24/7 electricity already have it if you ask me

Thank you for your patient feedback Sir. I deeply appreciate. Can you please give a specific brand in Lagos Nigeria for the solar gen based on your desceibed specifications? I am considering getting the solar gen first to manage and then get a solid 5kw inverter with 10kwh LiFePO4 battery and 20 Jinko panels later this year before Dec. My Monday to Friday, I am away from the house because of work from 7am to 8pm. So I basically need a solar gen I can manage when I am home and over the weekend. Something to carry 2 laptops, 1 standing fan and one 55 inch LG smart TV. Thanks.
declare your budget.

You may not blame Chinese for this as what we usually pay for is what we equally receive.
The market train in China is very flexible and we are always given an opportunity to choose from various varieties of products with price difference.
Some Chinese Companies I bought some of my goods from used to ask if I need relabeling... This is what most of our people are doing and it's very unfortunate that our porous system has landed us in this mess.
Again, our markets is dominated by the poor citizens who are also demanding for cheap products, forgetting that they may change the same cheap fake products for about 3x and the person who bought the original product at a higher price is still using it.
no lies told...on reddit , solar installers based in switzerland say they don't even touch 48V batteries....that if its not a higher voltage battery just leave am, and also if its not fronius inverter you are on your own....as expensive asenphase systems cost, they still make up for a higher market share in US unlike cheaper solutions like Sol-ark and EG4.

I agree. If there isn’t a vandalism act by National Assembly, then they should pass the law. It should be made to punish vandals across Nigeria with prison sentence.

Even the west world have not achieved green housing let's not deceive ourselves.

This government is out to wipe out the middle class and make everyone poor. I said it from when subsidy was removed on petrol but Nigerians are too blind they are defending nonsense.

I actually like what is happening. Tinubu should remove every subsidy imaginable then he should introduce new tax including solar and borehole tax. We go get sense by force
but also in the west, the wide adoption of solar systems is because of expensive electricity rates and because they want to pay little bills, not because electricity supply is poor. The only way to reduce electricity bill in Nigeria is to adopt solar, like the west did... Some people, if they sell one of the wristwatches they own they can afford to have enough solar system to take them off grid for up to 36 hours minimum. Priorities.

Inverter ACs work well if the installation is done well, service regularly and use the original gas. It's so cold in my room right now, I had to even increase the temperature to 22 degrees.

That's my current usage 506W and it includes
- 1.5HP LG inverter AC (L1 Power mode @ 22C)
- 565L Hisense fridge (double door)
- 90L Hisense fridge (small room fridge)
- Starlink (Dish + Router)
- 3 Deco X55 mesh routers
- 4 Security cameras & DVR

My brother, inverter ACs work well, just need to get the right technician to install and service it. I gave out my 1HP & 1.5HP inverter ACs a few years ago because "they weren't working well", till today the people I gave them to are enjoying it lol. The technician I had then wanted to kee me. I later had to spend money to buy the same ACs i gave out again. LMAO!

I will continue to advocate for inverter ACs infact LG inverter ACs to be specific because me I don't want to have an AC i won't want to turn on because I'm worried about my light bill. That and, I run this particular AC in my room 24/7 on my solar panels / batteries. Ire oh!
which inverter and battery you de use boss
