Nigeria is a political construct. It's a name that represents a diverse geographical space.

If you then that when the name Nigeria is mentioned, whatever is said about Nigeria applies to every single part of it, then you have little knowledge of reality.

The fact is that Lagos State alone has a higher GDP than the entirety of Ghana. Any foreign entity that therefore sets up it's hq in Lagos benefits from the advantages of Lagos, and no e of the disadvantages of Nigeria as awhile in terms of things like poverty and insecurity.

Besides, Nigeria's political practice recognises 6 geopolitical regions whicb are identified by their geographical location so there quite clearly is a southern Nigeria which is divided into South-South west, South south, and South east. So I don't know what your basis is for such a statement.

Let me tell you the reality. Southern Nigeria collectively is the most prosperous black nation in the world. When you see those poverty statistics, know that 80-90% of that is concentrated in northern Nigeria, which for me is simply an annex of Niger republic.

Plus Ghana is not ethnically Hydra headed like Nigeria is. Ghana has just about 6 to 7 ethnic groups while Nigeria has close to 80 ethnic groups if not more.

Plus the Islamic population in Ghana is extremely low and their northern parts are not more than 3 unlike ours that are about 5 times that.

The average Nigerian knows more about Ghana than Cameroon that is next door( from the 'backyard') even when Cameroon shares more cultural ties with Nigeria eg the Efik/Ibibio + Taraba people. Besides Cameroonians are friendlier than Ghanaians. It is when you are not in Cameroon, you get the impression that they might not be friendly probably due to their 'force' there.
The average Cameroonian supports a Nigerian and sees no competition between them.
So far you arrive and get their id card you will be fine in Cameroon so you are not charged like an outsider for certain things. Remember the French follow 'assimilation' method and provided it is not negative, it is welcome.
Anyway, I don't blame Nigerians as the head of both countries don't collaborate enough unlike eg Nigeria and Ghana.
