N1.5billion: Aregbesola Meets 3 Bank Mangers To Bankroll Bye-Election – Civil Society

A Civil Society Organization (CSO), the Civil Societies Coalition for the Emancipation of Osun State (CSCEOS) has disclosed that the State governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola on Saturday night meet with the three

(3) new generation bank Managers at the Government House, Oke-Fia, Osogbo with the aim of releasing the sum of N1.5billion to the State government as a soft term loan to be repaid from London-Paris Club refunds.

The investigation raveled to the civil group that the meeting was a result of the recent public outcry by the group (CSCEOS) and retirees under the aegis of Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), alleging plan by the State government to divert the part of the N12.7billion second tranches of Paris Club refunds for the forthcoming Osun West bye-election and this was to avoid the ongoing noise surrounding the Paris Club refunds.
Reliable source from government house,Oosgbo has it that they concluded at the meeting with the banks to release N500million each where Sterling Bank agreed to release its own N500million on Monday and they also agreed that the loan would be paid back from Paris Club refunds immediately after the bye-election.
In a statement issued by the CSCEOS’ Directorate of Media and Strategy and signed by its Chairman, Comrade Adeniyi, Alimi Sulaiman and copies were made available to Journalists on Sunday, maintained that the N1.5billion funds in question were meant to be used from Thursday 6th of July, 2017 till Saturday 8th of July, 2017 bye-election day, warned the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of the affected banks against collaborating with the State government to divert the Paris Club on frivolity, saying that this was against public probity, accountability and economic justice of the masses.

It urged the anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) and other security agents to beam searchlight to these banks and other likely banks that might have been contacted by Mr. Aregbesola for this shady deal ahead of July 8th, 2017 bye-election, calling on the well meaning people, especially, elders of the State to call Mr. Aregbesola to order by spending the Second tranches of the London-Paris Club Refunds on the payment of backlog of salary and pension arrears with gratuities, instead of spending the part of the funds on the forthcoming bye-election.

Politics / Democracy Day: Lagos Group Condemns Ambode Over Sacking Of Anglican Priest by sweetsandy4luv(f): 4:06pm On May 29, 2017
…..Says, Ambode is accidental governor

A group under the aegis of Save Lagos Group (SLG) has strongly condemned the State governor, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode for sacking of the Anglican Priest, Venerable Femi Taiwo, for allegedly disrespecting the wife of the governor, Bolanle, saying that the action of number one family in the State has revealed that they lacked decorum and humility and fear of God.

The group while speaking to Newsflashngr.com described Mr. Ambode as accidental governor who lacked maturity to rule the state if not for the imposition of his God father, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the last guber election in the State, urging the Governor to stop political rodomosin because he
lacked political hugu-hargar to withstand the Pandora’s Box of the masses in the state.
Continue reading here>>>http://www.newsflashngr.com/2017/05/29/democracy-day-lagos-group-condemns-ambode-over-sacking-of-anglican-priest-from-residence-calls-him-accidental-governor/

In a signed statement by the group’s Convener, Comrade Adeniyi, Alimi Sulaiman on the marking of democracy day in Nigeria which was made available to Journalists on Monday, urged Senator Bola Tinubu and other leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State to call Ambode to order on this singular action, describing Governor’s action on the Anglican Priest as ungodly, satanic, evil, illegal, unconstitutional, undemocratic, abominable, terrible, unacceptable and crime against humanity and God.

Comrade Sulaiman disclosed that the attitude of the Governor and his wife, shown their hatred for the immediate past Governor of the State and now, Minister of Power, Works and Housing (PWH), Mr. Babatunde Fashola, alleging that the hatred to Fashola and his family by Ambode was bone out of sacking of Ambode over fraud while in the Public service of the State as Accountant-General when Fashola was the State helmsman.

He then advised the State government to apologize to the Chaplain, Anglican Church and the Christian Community in the State, advising the good people of the State to know the kind of person and character they would vote for as a leader in the coming guber race in the State in 2019.

In the meantime, the Civil group has also queried the rationale behind the removal of status of the late Legal Icon and social crusader, Chief Gani Fawehinmi from Ojota area of Lagos State, urging Ambode to erect the status of late Fawehinmi back to the Ojota area within three months, adding that the area and Gani’s status have been served as a symbol of democratic struggle in Nigeria.

SLG noted that failure of Ambode to erect back the status within the appropriate time and it means his government sits on keg of gun powder of human rights activists in Nigeria, urging him to act fast so as to
stop political detonation in the State.

It told Ambode not to be intoxicated with the cosmetic inflated projects being carried out in the state, asking Ambode rhetorically to tell the whole world the cost of each project embarked upon in the
State? and also requested from the governor to let the public knew the total cost being spent on the recent celebration of 50 years anniversary of the Lagos State.

Speaking further on the democracy day celebration, Sulaiman maintained that the current political class had disappointed the masses without any meaningful different from dark days of Military era, insisting that the current administration in Nigeria has failed woefully in all ramifications.

The rights activist told Nigerians not to expect any meaningful dividend of democracy from Muhamadu Buhari’s administration again as the remaining two (2) years of the administration would be engulfed by
politicking, enjoying the masses in the country to use their power in the democratic setting which is their votes to vote out the complaint and excuse administration in 2019.

Politics / TENSION!! CLO Rates Obiano’s 3 Years In Office Weak Pass by sweetsandy4luv(f): 2:57pm On May 28, 2017
CLO Rates Obiano’s 3 Years In Office Weak Pass, Accuses Him Of Substandard Projects And Feeding Ndi-Anambra With Lies {Must Read}

(Conclusion of our 23 pages report on the state of the Nation released after our Zonal Management Committee Meeting in Anambra recently)

Looking at the whole scenario and after a critical appraisal of Anambra State under Obiano in the last three years, the Civil Liberties Organisation , South East Zone in a statement issued to Newsflashngr.com, scores the government in the weak pass category.

Our reason for arriving at this score is not farfetched, going by the position of the state and its great prospects as the time Chief Obiano took over, the pace of development has been slowed down instead of fast tracking it to the next level.

Anambra has no business in borrowing because its financial status is different from others when the incumbent took over.

It is ridiculous to clap that government does not owe salaries in Anambra because catering for the percentage of the civil servants in the state should be considered as the least this government can do.

We must also clarify that we have nothing personal against Chief Obiano . To be factual, the CLO and its leadership love him more than those or other platforms who are singing his praise today.

We want the administration to succeed that is why we say the truth without window dressing. It was Norman Vincent Pearle who said that: “the trouble with most of us is that we would rather be ruined by praise than saved by criticism”.

Our concern is for the government to realize its path and get committed in delivering good governance to the people. The government should change its disdain for constructive criticism and rather take corrective measures for its own good.

Government doesn’t need to dish out lies, half-truths and falsehood or to bandy figures at the spur of the moment in order to please the audience or tell them what they would like to hear in order to prove that it is working.

The imposition of traditional rulers and indiscriminate handing over of certificate of recognition to traditional rulers without proper information from the people of the community or obeying court orders is doing more harm than good to the communities and government.

Despite the government claim on the ban of some taxes in the state, the masses are still bleeding from the hands of touts rampaging Onitsha and environs.

The decision to still retain the ban on plying of motorcycles on some routes most especially Onitsha –Owerri Road and Onitsha –Awka expressway without an articulated enforcement plan and penalty regime has simply turned to a money making venture for the police.

Motorcycle riders now render daily account of between N3000 to N4000 to the police and the ‘business’ has turned so lucrative that policemen now ‘employ’ idle youths to apprehend motorcycle riders for a fee.

One bike fetches N500 for the one who apprehends. The government can do well by restructuring this ban or lift it entirely.

As the election 2017 in Anambra gets underway, we urge all stakeholders to play by the rules of the game..

Anambra is not at war and nobody should stoke the fire or beat war drums. Let it be free, fair and credible electoral process all the way.

INEC must maintain its position as the impartial and unbiased empire. It should be one man, one vote while any form of manipulation should be abhorred.

The state will continue to exist while the inhabitants have their lives to live after the election.
We leave you with these few foods for thought

“The whole of government consists in the art of being honest” Thomas Jefferson
“Every country has the government it deserves” Joseph De Maistre, French Writer.
“No man is good enough to govern another man without that other’s consent” Abraham Lincoln
We conclude finally with the words of Frantz Fannon who said: “The future will have no pity for those who possess the exceptional privilege of being able to speak words of truth to their oppressors but instead have taken refuge in an attitude of passivity, mute indifference and sometimes of cold complicity”

Thank you for listening

Politics / How Governor Obiano Allegedly Gave Nnamdi Kanu $50,000 And Two Suvs by sweetsandy4luv(f): 8:06pm On May 27, 2017
Report reaching Newsflashngr.com indicates that the factional leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra [IPOB] has received $50,000 and two sport utility vehicles [SUVs] from the Governor of Anambra State. This as members of IPOB cry foul over the acceptance of the gift by the factional leader.

As gathered, the gift was personally hand delivered by an aide to the Governor. The aide, a former resident of United States of America and a distant relative of the Governor, Primus Odili, handed the cash gift and the two vehicles to Nnamdi Kanu shortly after his release from Kuje prison on bail.
Members of IPOB, reportedly kicked against accepting the gifts from the Anambra State Governor… citing that the Governor had supervised the slaughter of IPOB members in Onitsha and Nkpor.

They citing his silence during the period of Nnamdi Kanu’s incarceration of indicting enough to refuse any gift from the Governor.

One of the top ranking members who spoke to 247ureports.com in Abuja stated that the Governor offered him the money and the vehicle in exchange for support in his gubernatorial race.

On the part of Nnamdi Kanu, he has told his followers and registered members to remain silent on the upcoming gubernatorial elections that they remain apolitical to the Nigerian electoral system.

Crime / Save Lagos Group Raises Alarm Over Fate Of Shot Detainees In Police Custody by sweetsandy4luv(f): 9:19pm On May 25, 2017
A human right organisation, the Save Lagos Group has raised an alarm over the fate of two detained citizens in police custody whom the group said have been shot by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force on trumped up allegations.

In a statement issued to NEWSFLASHNGR.COM by the Convener of the Save Lagos Group, Comrade Adeniyi A. Sulaiman listed the detainees as Isaiah Olagunju and Taofeek Asewere and that the two are currently being detained at the Lagos State Police Command, specifically, the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Ikeja.

Sulaiman in the statement made available to newsmen in Lagos on Thursday said the two detainees are currently in critical condition having been shot in the leg by operatives of the squad who he said have refused to grant them any form of contact with their families.

He added that the conduct of the operatives of the special unit runs contrary to Section 35 Sub-session 2 of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which stipulates that any person accused by law enforcement agents should be given unfettered access to his or her lawyers.

He said, “The Isaiah and Taofeek who are currently in detention are tricycle operators in Agbotikuyo area of Agege. They are innocent citizens of this country who have done nothing to infringe on the laws of the land. They are law abiding young men going about their businesses as responsible members of the society.”

According to him, the detainees were picked up after a minor clash ensued between them as some people in the area after they (police officer) had been tipped by the other party in the dispute who wanted to ‘deal’ with them for confronting them.

Sulaiman said though six of them were initially picked up by operatives of SARS, four had been released leaving both detainees whom he said are being asked to pay the sum of N250,000 each to secure their bail, a condition he said runs contrary to Section 98, 99, 494, 172, 209 of the Criminal Code and 5th Schedule, Part One, Sections 6 and 8 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).

“We have been informed reliably that the two are currently suffering bullet wounds to their legs, a condition that puts their lives in a precarious situation that put their survival in jeopardy as they have not been availed medical attention since their detention for over a week.

“We are in constant touch with their family members who have told us that they have not been giving the opportunity to see them since their incarceration. They have not been charged to court for any offence neither have they been released to reasonable surety as properly spelt out in Section 35 Sub-section 4 and 5 of the same 1999 Constitution (as amended).”

He added that the practice of habitually detaining citizens without trial and unlawfully have become a very common place amongst operatives of the squad, which negates the Police Code of Conducts/Act, Human Rights Correction Act, Citizens’ Fundamental Rights Act/Law Enforcement Agency Act and the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).

“We are demanding for the immediate release of the detainees unconditionally as they have been subjected to untold hardship and illegal torture in custody. We also telling them to desist from any further harassment and treat to lives of citizens of the state in the guise of performing their duties.” He said.

Sulaiman stated that the Save Lagos Group has concluded arrangement to file a suit against the police force based on what he called their “nonsensical constabulary mentality” in the way and manner they perform their duties.

He however urged operatives of the unit to rather enforce and preserve the fundamental rights of the innocent detainees and not to violate them arbitrarily as their constitutional role in the society is to ensure the protection of lives and property of the citizens of the country.

Politics / Position Of Lautech Teaching Hospital, Osogbo On Senator Adeleke’s Autopsy by sweetsandy4luv(f): 8:45pm On May 24, 2017
POSITION OF LAUTECH TEACHING HOSPITAL, OSOGBO ON SENATOR ADELEKE’S AUTOPSY

The attention of Management of LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Osogbo has been drawn to various comments and misinformation credited to the Adeleke family in the electronic, print and social media regarding the role of the hospital in the conduct of autopsy on late Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke.

It is with a high sense of responsibility that the Management of LAUTECH Teaching Hospital wish to make the following statements with a view to putting records straight especially the role played by the hospital in conducting the autopsy on the deceased, Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke.

1. The Management of the hospital Newsflashngr.com can understand held the distinguished Senator Adeleke as a politician of great reputation for unparalleled philanthropy famous for his concerns for the plight of the downtrodden. We express our heartfelt condolence to the family, the State of Osun and Nigeria at large.

2. On Sunday 23 April, 2017, the fateful day when the corpse of Senator Adeleke was brought to the hospital for autopsy, all necessary facilities, both materials and human were promptly mobilized to carry out a thorough and professional job. When this unfortunate incident occurred, it was not lost on anyone that this is a great challenge, not just the loss of such a great man, but the political milieu and the renowned attitude of some Nigerian politicians to play politics with even the most sacred things. We therefore made up our minds right from the beginning to do a thorough and professional job that can stand professional and ethical scrutiny anywhere in the world.

3. The death of the late Senator was first brought to the attention of the Management by the Medical Director of Biket where the senator’s body was first taken to. The body was met in the LAUTECH hospital with some family members and law enforcement agents including homicide detectives from the Nigeria Police.

The Police homicide detectives handed the relevant coroner papers (forms B and C) to the hospital’s pathologist, the only authorized professional in charge of Autopsy in the presence of the family members.

4. It is very important to state categorically that with the completion of forms B and C of the Police ab initio, it is clear that the issue of autopsy is beyond a family wanting to know the cause of death. The import is that the autopsy has become a full criminal investigation into the death of the deceased. It needs to be stressed that the sudden death of any person at home is a coroner case that must be investigated by the Police. In a situation like that, the family no longer has a say in the matter.

5. In line with Global practice and in a case like the above, such reports are NOT given to the family because they could be regarded as potential suspects that should not be allowed to have advance knowledge of findings of the investigations. The full autopsy report was not even made available to the Management of the hospital because the law does not permit the pathologist to do so.

6. The so called authorization by one Mrs. Dupe Adeleke-Sanni as disclosed by the family could not have been the case as the autopsy became coroner’s case as stated above. What Mrs. Dupe Sanni wrote after the completion of the autopsy was what she called ‘Certificate of Honour’ to the hospital with following content: “ on behalf of the Adeleke family, I, Mrs Dupe Sanni hereby certified that the family is satisfied and hereby confirmed our confidence in the pathology examination conducted by the Pathologist in LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Osogbo on Senator Isiaka Adeleke, and we are therefore not interested in requesting for a repeat of the examination in any other hospital.” The statement was signed. The Management challenges the family to produce the authorization letter as they claimed.

7. On payment of fee for autopsy, LAUTECH Hospital, like all other hospitals, works round the clock, tests, drugs and procedures can be done and be paid for at any time of the day. Indeed, LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Osogbo has a fully functional automated payment system that will issue receipts instantly. The truth is that NO PAYMENT WAS MADE by the Adeleke family to the hospital for the autopsy. It is clearly an attempt to smear the hospital to suggest that hospital which runs Children and Adult emergencies could not issue a receipt for payment made on a Sunday.

8. On the allegation of refusal to give tissue (sample) by the hospital, suffice to say that if the family of the deceased are keenly interested in obtaining the samples for autopsy by other agencies/ hospitals, it behoves on them to apply to the coroner for that. The hospital challenges the family to provide a previous letter of application for tissues which was reportedly rejected by the hospital.

9. In conclusions, the hospital discharges its professional duties ethically and we are proud of the conduct of the hospital’s team.

We commiserate with the Adeleke family, the people of the great town of Ede and indeed the entire people of Nigeria on the death of this illustrious son. His death was very painful to many people. We in the hospital who were saddled with the responsibility of not just mourning him, but also investigating the cause of his sudden death did our job under very difficult circumstances. We restate that our conduct was strictly based on professional principles. The hospital is devoid of other interest.

#AtTheInquest: Chilling Testimony of Man Who Injected Late Senator Isiaka Adeleke with Banned Drugs

The Coroner’s Inquest sitting at the Osun State High Court today received the chilling testimony of one Alfred Aderibigbe, a self-professed nurse who injected late Senator Isiaka Adeleke with banned drugs shortly before his demise.

When the court resumed at 9am in the morning to hear is testimony, the court registrar read a letter from his lawyer, Mr. Lekan Alabi stating that he was unavailable as he was appearing before another judge at the state high court three. The coroner subsequently adjourned till 12 noon.

At exactly 12noon, the coroner entered the court room to an anxious crowd. He immediately called on the witness to take the witness stand. Alfred who wore a better composure compared to yesterday, began by describing his relationship with the late senator who he described as very cordial.

Alfred who spoke in Yoruba through the help of an interpreter when asked how he met the late senator, stated that; “late Sen. Adeleke was like a father to me, a helper; we were like father and son.”

“I met Sen. Adeleke, then a former governor, after I treated one of his daughter for convulsion many years back, our relationship blossomed thereafter.”

Recalling how the Senator died, Mr. Aderibigbe who has been treating the former Osun governor for over 20 years, reveals he was summoned in the middle of the night on Sunday 23rd April 2017 around 4.33am to come attend to the senator. On getting to his bedroom, Alfred revealed the Senator complained of severe pains in his legs and requested for some drugs to be administered on him in the presence of his friend, one Dipo Fagborode.

Aderibigbe recalled that he left his home with four (4) ampoules of Diazepam (valium) 20ml each, two (2) ampoules of Analgin 50ml each, two (2) ampoules of Hydrocortisone 100ml eachs , one ampoule of Pentazocine, and two vials of Gentamicin 80ml each, but did not administer all the drugs on the late senator.

The nurse informed the coroner that it was his practice to administer prescribed drugs to the senator, even though he prefers overdose. He said, “I only administered only 20ml of diazapram, 50ml of analgin and 200ml hydrocortisone, even though he wanted more. I also administered the Gentamicin on his friend, Dipo Fagborode without a prescription.”

“I opened all the ampoules of drugs in his (Sen. Adeleke) presence, but I did not administer it on him. The essence is so that when he wakes up, he would think I used everything. I only used one ampoule of diazepram. It is my practice to kick the remaining away with my leg.”

When asked if he knew that Analgin was banned by the National Agency for Food, Drugs Administration and Control, NAFDAC, over ten years ago, Mr. Aderibigbe said he was aware, but it is his usual practice to make use of the drug on insistence of the senator who he described as ‘powerful’.

“I don’t buy the drugs myself; the senator buys them and keeps with me. Anytime he needs them, he beckons on me. The drugs I used on the 23rd April 2017, was handed to me by Senator Adeleke on 17th of April, 2017.

“Whenever he was given prescription and he probably didn’t complete his treatment in Abuja, I would administer the remaining.

“He had other nurses in Abuja, and some in Lagos.

“I’m his nurse in Ede. I don’t know any of them (other nurses), but I know that whenever he was given injection by those nurses, he would show me in order to know the new area to inject him.”

Aderibigbe though stated that he knew alcohol exacerbate Gout, a condition he knew senator Adeleke was battling with, he stated that the senator rebuffed his advice to stop drinking and opted for treatment with the sedatives, steroids and analgesic.

He revealed the Senator’s choice of drink was Remy Martins, a position which corroborated the testimony of a party chieftain who had received the late senator at his daughter’s wedding the previous day.

Engr. Olasunkanmi Olaniyi whilst testifying earlier in the day had said the late senator did not eat at his party, but he noticed one of Adeleke’s aide served his boss with a bottle of Remy Martins and glass cup.

Continuing his testimony, Aderibigbe said he couldn’t perceive if the late Senator was smelling of Alcohol, but agreed that it was improper to take sedatives, steroids and analgesic after the consumption of Alcohol.

Recall the Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital pathologist who carried out an autopsy on Senator Adeleke revealed his corpse was oozing of alcohol during his testimony yesterday.

Aderibigbe however stated that he left the Senator around 8am to go take a leave of absence from his church where he teaches a Sunday School every Sunday morning.

“On getting back around 9am, Dipo Fagborode told me the senator beckoned on him, with a weak hand, so he asked me to quickly attend to him.

“On getting into his room, he had little life left in him. His pulse was weak and his breathing was almost shutting down. I had to perform a cardiac massage on him. I beckoned on Dipo to assist me and we both continued the cardiac massage, and when he wasn’t responding, I shouted for help, and that was when he was taken to Biket Hospital in Osogbo.

“I didn’t follow in the Senator’s Cardillac vehicle, but I know before getting to Biket Hospital in Osogbo, he would have died.

“At Biket Hospital, Senator Adeleke was pronounced brought in dead.” Aderibigbe revealed.

The coroner has since issued a summon for Dipo Fagborode to appear before him and thereafter adjourned sitting till Friday, 18th May, 2017.

Politics / Dr Obidigbo Blasts Obiano – Calls His USA Trip Waste Of Limited Resources by sweetsandy4luv(f): 9:31am On May 19, 2017
Anambra Governorship Hopeful Dr Obidigbo Blasts Obiano – Calls His USA Trip Waste Of Limited Resources {Must Read}

The social media has been awash with the news of His Excellency, Governor Obiano’s trip to the United States of America for the graduation ceremony of his daughter, who graduated from the University of Texas with an outrageous number of delegations.

Newsflashngr.com can report that the news ought not to have been given any attention. But, the large retinue of cheer leaders to the event in this era that every responsible government is cutting cost to assuage the daunting economic downturns, leaves discerning minds worried about the plausibility of such an action unwittingly perpetrated by a seemingly responsible State government.

It is not out of place for the Governor to witness and celebrate the graduation ceremony of his daughter, but there is everything wrong for His Excellency to embark on such a jamboree overseas with an unnecessarily humongous number of State functionaries as reported.

Such a flamboyant life style is an anathema to the quality of prudence expected of a holder of public trust, as it breeds corruption and drains the resources which ought to be used for the good of Ndi Anambra.

Anambra State is in dire need of purposeful leadership that will give direction to the polity and encourage the repatriation of wealth of our people which will give credence to the “think home” initiative. However, the sad reality seems to suggest that this can never be the case as those who wish to return home to invest already hold a negatively skewed perception of the State’s leadership.

All over the world, investors entrust their investments in political environments where accountability, prudence and financial frugality can be attested to.

Recently, ex elected officials at the local government level took to the media to demand for the payment of their arrears, gratuity and allowances owed them by this administration. Many of them have threatened to sue the state government as correspondences and efforts made to get their payment were spitefully neglected.

The Obiano led Anambra State government alleged that the state has no money to offset the legitimate entitlements of the aggrieved Local government officials. In the case of the ex councilors, His Excellency pleaded that they shall be paid in instalments.

It is therefore, ill advised for the chief executive of a state battling with such financial difficulty to embark on such frivolous spending for a mere graduation ceremony that threatens the fiscal stability of the State, when few family members and friends could have sufficed to grace the largely private event.

In order to develop our state and place it on the path of sustainable development and financially stability, Ndi Anambra should consider November 18, governorship election as another opportunity to make the right choice.

We can’t continue to make avoidable mistakes in leadership, as it has cost us so much and kept our youths and children unemployed and financially emasculated.

Sulaiman added: “We are not in banana republic and Animal Farms where the rule of society engagement could not be respected which any member of the society could just be doing as they like.

The Police should train his men to see themselves as part of civilized democratic society where genuine democracy is order of the day. The action of the Police on the subject matter is condemnable, unacceptable, satanic, evil, ungodly, aberration, abomination, illegal, uncivilized and crime against humanity and God. We would not allow this act of injustice to stand”.

Monarchs, Akure Base Lawyers Turn Touts In Anambra, Take Over All Motor Parks - Nurtw

*cries out for Obiano to remove them, restore the Union

*may shift guber support, if....

More ten thousand-member strong Anambra chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers(NURTW) Newsflashngr.com can report, have threatened to pitch their political support elsewhere should the state governor, Willie Obiano continues to flout the court order restoring them to their duties posts in Anambra motor parks.

They also raised alarm, accusing some lawyers, traditional rulers and established business executives who have manipulated the situation and taken over their functions in the motor parks, unfortunately as part of political patronage from the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance and the governor.

In an interview with journalists in their Onitsha headquarters yesterday, the NURTW state Chairman, Chief Austine Udozor, flanked by his executive disclosed that the issues they had with the state government in the past had been resolved in their favour by the state High Court last October 2016.

He said it was sad that their job has been handed over to all manner of persons ranging from some Akure-based lawyers, Traditional rulers and business men, thereby turning the state's transport sector especially the parks into an all-comers affair, despite two subsisting court judgments to the contrary.

Chief Udozor said, "...despite these, we are still appealing to the governor to restore us back to our duty posts in the parks.

"It is very unfair and unnatural to take away the job of a medical doctor and hand it over to carpenter.

"Let all the Lawyers who have taken over our jobs go back to the courts to argue cases; let the traditional rulers who have invaded our motor parks go back to their thrones and palaces to run their communities, while those traders/business men who took over the parks withdraw and move back to the markets and mind their shops and wares.

"We, NURTW should be allowed to take back the motor parks. That is our area of specialization and calling. We frown at the way our job was take away from us and given out to even lawyers who operates and reside in far away places as Akure, Ondo State; Jos, Plateau State; Eleme, Rivers State and traders in Onithsa Main Market, Agbor, Wuse Market(FCT), Tejuosho Yaba, Mile 12 Ketu, and some in Balogun Lagos Island and Gwagwalada (FCT)....", he emphasized.

The union, according to Udozor has made several representations to the governor for amicable settlement and audience but had been repeatedly rebuffed.

He noted having written several letters and applications for a 5-minutes audience with Gov Obiano, through some of his top aides, but none had yielded any fruit. So they have concluded to make one final attempt after which they would mobilize their large membership and dependents to another political camp in the forthcoming Nov 18,2017.

Culture / Imo-awka Festival Makes Nonsense Of The Two Days Public Holiday Declared By Govt by sweetsandy4luv(f): 10:26am On May 09, 2017
AWKA THE VILLAGE CAPITAL OF ANAMBRA STATE:

How Imo-Awka Festival Will Make Nonsense Of The Two Days Public Holiday Declared By The State Government - Obitube Nnaemeka

May I kindly bring to the notice of all visitors to Anambra state that today will be a risky and bad gamble coming into Awka the village capital of Anambra State.

Today makes the first official commencement of the deadly and violent IMO AWKA TRADITIONAL FESTIVAL OF MASQUERADES where youths walk the streets, nook and cranny of the Village capital with sticks, canes, guns, machete and various dangerous weapon's of all sorts and public dastardly drinking to stupor by the kids, the young, the elders and even the old of the Awka dynasty in the name of the above mentioned traditional festival's.

Many books and symposiums has been written and organized on how better to preserve our good old cultural heritage, yet the situation gets worse and messier.

I make bold to say with fear or favour based on logistics and based on facts on ground that Awka the village capital will not be safe for anybody, any visitor or any non indigene of Awka from today till Sunday pending the end of the deadly IMO AWKA MASQUERADE FESTIVAL.

The level of havoc these kids unleash on innocent people in the name of this festival leaves less to be desired about any hope for the survival of our rich igbo cultural heritage.

On a second thought: #justASK your self- "Of what use is the two days public holidays declared by the state government"

To enable civil servants obtain their PVC by participating in the CVR. Now, let's do the analogy together.
Awka the village capital has more than75% of its population as non indigenes true/false? Now civil servants residence in Awka constitutes a large chunk of the number.

Now the IMO AWKA MASQUERADE FESTIVAL for those very conversant with it knows how brutal those boys on the street's can be, now today may be milled and suffice me to say some can manage and find their way to the accredited centre's for the CVR and may be or may not succeed or otherwise, today been Tuesday the last day for the public holiday is the D-Day of the festival, I bet you no Centre in Awka will register anybody today.

It would have been understandable if the public holidays were declared in solidarity to the IMO AWKA MASQUERADE FESTIVAL because based on logistics that is what it seems to after some reports from some friend's about their encounter with the IMO Awka boys in their Streets.

#QuoteMe: "Whoever that must have advised the government on this choice of date for the CVR holidays MUST be an Awka man or their representative.

I will urge the state government to reconsider another two days public holidays and that must be after we must have seen a dare seriousness on the part of INEC to really embark on this exercise because from reports from all LGA in the state is just business as usual.

Please I humbly pray all good and law abiding citizens in the state to remain law abiding and stay away from any act consequence of bridging peace in Anambra state.

The state government and the Commissioner of police should please double up efforts to secure our Village capital while this festival last.

If I have any business with you in Awka, I will be embarking on a health sabbatical till next week Monday been 15/4/2017.

Thank you and God bless Anambra State.

Politics / Apc To Obiano – Don’t Set Anambra Ablaze, Demolish Those Death Traps Now Or… by sweetsandy4luv(f): 1:26pm On May 08, 2017
APC WARNS OBIANO – DON’T SET ANAMBRA ABLAZE, DEMOLISH THOSE DEATH TRAPS YOU CALL FLYOVERS IN AWKA NOW OR ELSE…

Anambra chapter of APC have warn Gov Willie Obiano to stay away from the posters of APC aspirants and those of other political parties, irrespective of the guise and guile applied..

First fool no be fool na second fool be proper foolish.

We recall with deep pain that Obiano’s first step to rigging the 2013 governorship elections under the guidance of those who led him was to lay siege on the posters, banners and campaign materials of opponents.

In that sense we were the first fool. There will not be a second time fool.

Anambra APC in statement signed and issued to NEWSFLASHNGR.Com claim it has become necessary in the light of a despotic set of announcements, put out and running in the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) to the effect that ‘some indiscriminate posters are lying on the streets and Anambra State, thereby defacing the environment’ and signaling that government will ‘take action’.

Our party, the alternative government in Anambra State and the ruling party from March 17, 2018 with the resolve and massive support of Ndi Anambra is not by any stretch of imagination willing to be reduced to the small pockets of those who wake up to their environmental duties, after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the timetable for an election they are likely to lose.

We would therefore take all lawful steps to protect the right of APC aspirants to market their candidature to the Anambra voting public, without undue interference from interested parties acting in disguise.

If the issue of poster-pesting is of genuine interest to government as it may be to an incoming APC government in the state, there should be a long-term plan and provision of base infrastructure to enable posters be placed, to avoid what the state ministry of Environment now wakes up from its slumber to describe as ‘indiscriminate ‘on behalf of Obiano’s Campaign.

Anything to the contrary is discernible and must not be used as a cheap avenue to destabilize the state.

The most immediate issue to resolve in Awka, the state capital for instance are to stop the traffic commotion going on and attendant risks to lives of residents posed by the structurally failing bridges which are unable to separate interstate traffic from city traffic, hence failing to justify the wasteful expenditure of N15bn.

The second critical challenge which is even a bigger environmental challenge is the zero-line drainage efficiency in Awka which leaves all manner of debris on the few motorble roads at the slightest rain.

Ijaw Youths Talks Tough Again – Issues Serious Warning To National Assembly Concerning Relocation Of Oil Firms To N’Delta

Ijaw youths on Friday warned the National Assembly that they would resist the rejection of the executive order to oil companies to relocate their administrative head offices to the Niger Delta region.

The youths, under the aegis of the Ijaw Youth Council, expressed dissatisfaction that the House of Representatives could reject a motion calling on such oil firms to relocate their head offices to the Niger Delta.

It will be recalled that a member of the House of Representatives from Imo State, Mr. Goodluck Opiah, had moved a motion suggesting that there was need for all oil companies operating in Nigeria to open offices in the communities where they were engaged in exploration.
The motion was supported by a member from Rivers State, Mr. Kingsley Chinda, who dismissed the argument that the Niger Delta region was insecure, hence the relocation of oil companies to other states outside the region as untenable.

But Aminu Shehu Shagari of Sokoto opposed the motion, describing it as ill-conceived, inconsiderate, even as the motion was later thrown out through voice vote.
However, a statement by the Eric Omare-led IYC, indicated that the action of the lower house was unacceptable to the youths of Niger Delta.

According to the statement signed by the group’s spokesman, Mr. Henry Iyalla, the action of the House of Representatives was unacceptable.

The IYC recalled that there had been an executive order to oil companies to relocate their head offices to the Niger Delta region and added that the matter was not under the purview of the House of Representatives

It pointed out that the action of the lower House was capable of undermining the demands of the people of the region.

According to the IYC, “The Federal House of Representatives in its sitting held on Tuesday rejected a motion brought by Goodluck Opiah (PDP, Imo) requesting the House to impress on the IOCs to relocate their administrative head offices to the Niger Delta Region.
“We state that the call for the relocation of IOC’s is not within the purview of the Federal House of Representatives since an executive order had already been issued and we expect administrative action to be in full swing to that effect.

“Any action capable of undermining that order will not see the light of day as the Ijaw Youth Council will rise to ensure actions with the aim of marginalising or undermining the demands of the region will be resisted vehemently.“The Ijaw Youth Council wishes to state unequivocally that this rejection is unacceptable coming at a time when the Federal Government has given a directive to all IOCs to relocate to the region as part of its fulfilment of the Pan-Niger Delta Elders Forum demands and when we are expecting the IOCs to make moves for such relocation.”

Describing the action of the House as condemnable, the IYC noted that the rejection of the motion showed the “real mindset” of leaders, who had continued to pay lip service to the agitations and demand of the oil rich region.

The IYC pointed out that the action of the House was capable of causing unrest in the Niger Delta region, adding that the relocation of the IOCs would make them to be committed to environmental issues affecting the area.

“This is capable of causing unrest in the region which has thus far been peaceful.

Education / See How Four Secondary School Students Were Recorded Raping Schoolgirls by sweetsandy4luv(f): 4:13am On May 06, 2017
After an eyewitness shared on social media how final year secondary school students s*xually assaulted their female counterparts on their last day in school at Falomo, Ikoyi, Lagos, in what has been described as a “tradition”, the Lagos State Government is said to be hunting for the students responsible.

Four of the students of Ireti Grammar School, Falomo, Lagos, have been arrested after the Lagos State Government tasked the police with tracking the perpetrators down.

According to the story shared by Michale Matthew, female students of Falomo Senior High School, who had just finished their final exam were targeted by male students of Ireti Grammar School, South West Ikoyi, who had also taken their last paper on Wednesday.

Matthew gave a graphic account of how some of the students pinned down their struggling victims, as their colleagues herded around, cheering the assailants.

The eyewitness, who apparently works in the neighbourhood, was closing for work that day when she chanced on the scene.

She said, “Their shouting overpowers any other sound and looking closely, I see the most unreal thing. It is actually a boy trying to force himself on a girl with his trousers partly down and the boys are cheering him on.

“People are looking and some persons, the security guards in the office near us are recording it. I open my car in disbelief and shout at the boys to break it up while shouting at my security and the second driver to assist me.

“I walk towards them and as I make my way towards them, I see another group and this time they have cornered one of the girls who fell while running from them.

“I see her kicked down, she bravely pushes herself up and another guy tries to clear her legs and she lunges at him and then a guy takes a pair of scissors in his hands and with one swoop tears her skirt from the bottom and also a part of the black spandex shorts she has on underneath.

“All this happens really in a few minutes and he proceeds to push himself into her through her back. His trousers is open too and another one tries to do same from the front. As this is going on, the crowd of boys are wild with frenzy, cheering the two boys on, while grabbing at her hair, bre@sts and she is fighting for dear life.

“This is not before I get the names of the boys as George and Abiodun as the main perpetrators, they are final year students of Ireti Grammar School SW Ikoyi.”

She said after intervening and forcing some of the boys to flee, she personally escorted some of the girls who clung to her for safety to the motor parks to board vehicles to their various homes.

On Thursday, policemen from the Adeniji Adele Police Division, the Social Welfare Department of the Lagos State Ministry of Youths, Sports and Social Development and officials from the deputy governor’s office stormed the schools to trace some of the boys who could be identified as the perpetrators.

Some of the boys were later apprehended. The police are said to still be on the trail of other schoolboys who took part in the attacks.

On Friday, the state Deputy Governor, Dr.Idiat Adebule, who oversees the state’s education ministry, confirmed the arrest in a statement.

“Four of the boys involved are already helping the law enforcement agents in apprehending others who participated in the reckless act,” she said.

The statement signed by the Assistant Director, Public Affairs,
Ministry of Education, Adesegun Ogundeji, indicated that the deputy governor had assured the public that extensive investigation will be conducted and all those found culpable would face the consequences of their indiscipline and lawlessness.

Adebule said, “Students are expected to be of best behaviour and shun all acts of violence and immorality that can undermine the policy of Government on discipline being entrenched in schools.

“The state government won’t take kindly to the reckless attitudes of a few that intends to drag the image built over the years in the mud.

“She stressed that discipline must prevail for the smooth running of the schools and acts of recklessness such as reported in the case under investigation is totally unacceptable and would not be tolerated.”
The deputy governor called on parents and guardians to monitor their children’s actions in and out of their school premises.

The state government said principals and heads of schools would not be held responsible for instituting measures to curb indiscipline in their various schools, warning that “anyone caught looking the other way will equally face appropriate disciplinary actions as stipulated in the Public Service Rule.”

The Coordinator of the Lagos State Domestic and S3xual Violence Response Team, Mrs. Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, said her agency had visited the schools as part of its investigation.
She said, the public should expect prosecution in the case.

“We are working to ensure that we provide a holistic response to the case. Aside from investigation, there is also the legal aspect; possible prosecution to ensure deterrence.

“The Attorney-General has also given directives that the matter should be investigated. We are working to ensure that this kind of activity does not repeat itself again.”

She said in the coming weeks, DSVRT would embark on sensitisation and awareness in Lagos schools to enlighten schoolchildren, teachers and parents on s*xual and gender-based violence.

But the Lagos State Police Command said there were no indications that the schoolboy’s actions could be termed as s*xual violence.

Spokesperson for the command, Mr. Olarinde Famous-Cole, told our correspondent that reports from the police division in the area so far show that the case may not be r@pe.

Politics / Anambra: Dr. Obidigbo Hails FG For Releasing IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu by sweetsandy4luv(f): 2:25pm On May 01, 2017
May 1, 2017.
Press Release.

...calls for the release of other agitators.

Dr Chike Obidigbo, the November 18, APC governorship hopeful in a statement signed and issued to Newsflashngr.com , praised the Federal government for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

In a statement issued in Awka on Monday by his Media aide, Eneh Victor Chigozie, Dr Obidigbo expressed optimism that Kanu's release will bring relative peace to the southeast region.

"His detention increased palpable tension in igboland with protests that have led to confrontations with security agencies. I am certain that his release will calm fraying nerves in the southeast and restore relative peace."

The APC governorship aspirant therefore thanked president Mohammadu Buhari who despite fears in some quarters allowed the release of Kanu as ordered by Federal High Court Abuja.

"There were fears, that the FG may not obey the bail granted to Nnamdi Kanu, but Mr President being a father to the nation, disappointed the nay sayers, I thank him for this gesture. Mr President has shown that he is not numb to the plight of Ndigbo, and will address same under his administration.

"I therefore call on the trial court to reconsider the bail applications of other IPOB members who have been in detention with Kanu and grant them bail, as that will complete the celebration of optimism towards APC government in southeast."

Dr Chike Obidigbo, equally appreciated the roles played by some individuals to ensure that Kanu regains his freedom.

"I thank those that played various roles in seeing that Kanu regained his freedom. Many of us have at different quarters given advice and pleaded for his release. I understand the threat his incarceration posed to southeast, and have quietly offered advice to those in govt for his release."

Finally, the frontline industrialist, urged the the Federal govt to look into various issues fueling ethnic agitations with a view to addressing them fully.

Politics / Rivers APC – Police Refusal To Compromise Reason For Gov. Wike’s Blackmail by sweetsandy4luv(f): 9:49pm On Apr 30, 2017
Rivers APC – Police Refusal To Compromise Reason For Gov. Wike’s Blackmail Against IGP

The Rivers State Chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, said the party is utterly dismayed at the serial show of shame and disgrace Gov. Nyesom Wike is bringing upon the good people of Rivers State especially in recent times.

The APC in a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Chris Finebone and made available to Newsflashngr.com said, “As soon as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, announced the discovery of $43m and other currencies at Osborne Road, Ikoyi, Lagos Gov. Wike immediately addressed the media laying claim to the money.

In doing so, he issued a 7-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to return the money to him or he would go to court. Two weeks after his bogus claim it has turned out that the governor made an empty threat as he is not in any position to carry it out for the reason that what appears like credible ownership of the said money is unraveling and it has nothing to with the Rivers State Government.

More so, despite the opportunity given by a federal high court sitting Lagos for the owner of the money to come forward and claim it, Gov. Wike has made no move whatsoever in that direction. It is clear that the governor was merely amusing himself in one of his cheap circus shows.”

It reads: “Even before the Osborne Road saga, Gov. Wike had raised accusations that the Inspector-General of Police Mr. Idris Ibrahim planned to assassinate him, an allegation he has just repeated yesterday (Saturday).

“For us in APC, Gov. Wike’s behaviour has not come to us as a surprise and the reasons are many.

“Gov. Wike has a well-established philosophy that directs his politics. He believes that the most secure means of dominating the political environment in Nigeria is to effectively compromise the electoral umpire, the judiciary and security agencies. His position is anchored on his belief that every Nigerian, irrespective of tribe and religion, has a price.

“Credible pieces of evidence at the disposal of Nigerians today confirm that Gov. Nyesom Wike had a stranglehold on the electoral umpire (INEC), the judiciary and security agencies until recently under the present Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Idris Ibrahim. Several INEC personnel are presently facing trial in court over alleged bribery by the governor involving N360m.

Whereas his hold on INEC and the judiciary is as firm as ever, Gov. Wike has failed to compromise the IGP, the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State or the SARS Commander.

“We make bold to ask: why is it only under the present IGP that the Police is attempting to assassinate the governor as he claims? Why did the previous IGP not plan to assassinate Gov. Wike? Why was the State Police Commissioners under the previous IGP so helpless and often overruled by their boss in favour of Gov.Wike's interest?

“The APC believes that the bitter war being unleashed on the present IGP by Gov. Wike is a desperate attempt to blackmail, coerce and subdue the IGP, the Commissioner of Police and other key officers to do the bidding of the governor in exchange for the tempting bait he always dangles which they have so far shunned.

The APC commends the IGP, the State Commissioner of Police and other officers of the Force in Rivers State who have refused to go near Gov. Wike’s poisoned chalice.

“APC calls on the National Security Adviser, Minister of Interior and the IGP to view the actions and utterances of Gov. Nyesom Wike beyond mere politics but as grave threat to national security and do the needful to safeguard the security of our dear fatherland from the whimsical and capricious manipulation of a governor steadily displaying unstable utterances and behaviour. Gov. Nyesom Wike's immunity only covers prosecution and not investigation.”

Politics / Governor Wike Insists IG Of Police; Ibrahim Idris Is Planning To Kill Him by sweetsandy4luv(f): 8:06pm On Apr 29, 2017
*Declares that IGP has ordered a raid of his Abuja residence

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has reiterated his declaration that the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris plans to kill or silence him politically because of the political directives that the police chief has received.

According to Newsflashngr.com report, Governor Ezenwo Wike further declared that the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris has concluded plans to plant guns and other incriminating items at his Asokoro Extension Residence in Abuja.

Addressing journalists at the Government House, Port Harcourt on Saturday, Governor Wike said that the Inspector-General of Police on Friday approved the raid of his Abuja residence.

According to the governor, the Police will be in court to get a search warrant on Tuesday. He said information available to him indicated that but for the May Day Public Holiday, the Police would have obtained the search warrant on Monday .

He said: "All attempt is being made so that they will go and plant either AK47 or one million dollars in the governor’s house. They can even plant costly wrist watches as a propaganda tool.

"I said I have to let Nigerians know that this is not the way to go about in democracy. Rather, this is an attempt to truncate democracy. That someone differs on issues does not mean you have to go after the person's life".

Governor Wike said this is the latest in the series of planned propaganda by the police to sow devilish information against him.

He said because of the unconstitutional nature of the raid, the police refused to indicate that the house to be raided belongs to the Rivers State Governor.

"Nigerians should be aware that should they raid my house in Abuja and claim they found anything, it is incorrect. I have not been going to Abuja, but I will be in Abuja to wait for them to see how they plan to plant guns in my house", Governor Wike said.

While maintaining his position that the Inspector-General of Police is after his life, Governor Wike stated that this recenta plot is aimed at silencing him because the Rivers State Government claimed the Ikoyi Billions, which was reportedly left there by the former Rivers State Governor.

He decried the pattern that has been adopted in the nation’s democracy, saying that it will negatively affect the growth of democracy.

"Our democracy cannot survive if we continue with this line of action. If the Inspector-General of Police wants to play partisan politics, let him remove his uniform and join us in the arena. He should not continue to wear uniform and do the bidding of politicians like a stooge", he said.

The governor added: "I want to reiterate, the Inspector-General of Police is after my life".

He regretted that security agencies have adopted the unwholesome method of planting guns and cash when the owners of the houses are not at home, simply for political reasons. He cited the case of Former Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswam and Senator Danjuma Goje.

Politics / JUST IN: Abia APC In Serious Crisis by sweetsandy4luv(f): 10:08am On Apr 25, 2017
Despite last Sunday’s declaration by the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Abia State, that is set to win the 2019 general elections in the state, crisis has torn apart the Isiala Ngwa South local government area chapter of the party following the sack of the chairman of the APC in the area, Mr. Ezekiel Nwogwugwu, over alleged misconducts.

It was gathered that stakeholders of the party in the council, had through a communiqué on 10th March, 2017, passed a vote of no confidence on Nwogwugwu, accusing him of running the APC as a personal business and trying to sell the party to a moneybag in the area.

The stakeholders allegedly backed a former Senator for Abia Central, Chief Bob Nwannunnu, further sacked Nwogwugwu and replaced him with a 16 member exco led by Onyenma Nwamara.

A planned inauguration of the party secretariat at the council headquarters, Omoba, by the stakeholders of the party led by the zonal secretary of the APC, Abia Central, Chief Onyenmuru Sample Aja; zonal Organizing secretary, Abia Central, Oba Darlington and a former chairman of the council, Engr. Uzoma Uwa, was aborted by the state chapter of the party who allegedly petitioned security agents.

In a communiqué which was signed by zonal and local government officers and ward chairmen of the APC, some of the allegation against Nwogwugwu include suspending ward chairmen without due process, misappropriating money meant for the party during the 2015 general elections, failure to rent an office for the party despite receiving money, as well as congratulating the PDP candidate who emerged winner at the December 21Abia council polls.

Addressing members of the party at its new office at the local government headquarters at Omoba, Onyenmuru Sample Aja, Darlington Oba and Engr. Uzoma Uwa, flanked by LGA and ward executives of the party, maintained that the sack of the party chairman was in line with the APC Constitution, Article 21, Section D, subsection VI, as amended.

They explained that the stakeholders of the party are united in their rejection of Nwogwugwu as the party chairman and has contributed over a million Naira to rent a befitting secretariat, claiming that the APC in the area has never had a secretariat as Nwogwugwu and his cohorts allegedly embezzled the funds meant for the purpose.

They also accused the state chapter of the party led by Mr. Donatus Nwankpa of bias and called for the replacement of the secretary of the six man peace committee, Menyechi Onuoha, describing him as an interested party in the matter.
