I saw it coming, a thread cannot be this long without Nigerians breaking into confrontation and baseless arguments even when a good cause is at stake.
RomanceRe: I Want Her But She Calls Me 'Uncle' by SweetT1: 2:29am On Oct 20, 2010
I thought Michael Jackson was dead. Seriously though, why do you want a 20 yr old? Is your ego too small for a 26 yr. old? At 32, you should be talking to women who has been sampled by other other men and have gone though lots of Dikcs. Those are the ones with skills to satisfy your sexual fantasies.
PoliticsRe: The Nigeria Water Project by SweetT1: 3:24am On Oct 18, 2010
I also think the hospital project is a good project. If you have been to some Nigerian hospitals, you will shed tears if your heart is human. Especially the children's ward. You will be amazed at how people are neglected or die over a ridiculously small amount of money. If anybody's in doubt, i implore you to pay a visit to one of the big hospitals in Nigeria (UCH, LUTH, etc.). I know everyone can not give money sometimes but it will be nice if there is something you can do or give be it clothes, toys or groceries. Nigeria will not change from the top-down, it will take human to human interaction and kindness.

@sweet T,
what is wrong is observing and correcting your sister or brother even in such a polite manner? this is my problem with a typical nigerian.
we are more idealistic than realistic. everybody is saying yes, yes and yes. we will do it is the chorus here but when and how?

@poster,
i am sorry if i am going to sound very different from others here. what u have mentioned here is idealistically kool but in action, it is perfectly impossible.
be reminded that whenever there is a gathering of 5 or more ppl, there is always a need for a leader and if what u have mentioned here will get to a point where a leader will be needed, the story will end there. we are doomed in the area of leadership. 99.99% of everybody saying yes here are ready to kill just to be in charge of the finance of the said charity organisation.
i tell u what, look arround u, your family, kindred, relatives or even the nearest person to u, see how u can touch and bless his/her life. the idea of water supply to your ppl is a good one but remember u must not think u have supporters. be alone in it and pray that God will give u the resources and wisdom to go about it.
this is my submission.
We don't need any hyperventilating or overanalyzing, you either put up or shut up. There is a thread where you can bark all day long. If you want to be a part of this pledge something or bounce!  If you have never done such a thing before, it will be strange to you. Some of us make it an habit to give back whenever possible. go to a any hospital when you are at home or send it to someone you know that will deliver. We are not trying to overthrow Nigerian Govt. we are only trying to give back in areas that needs it. GOSH!
There can't be only one location tho.

If you want this project to be successful, I suggest we have atleast 3 sponsors located in ; Nigeria, Europe, America. Even tho the main project will be taking off in Nigeria, these sponsors will keep the donations and stuff in check and inspire participants from abroad to participate and stay interested.
Titi, find a place, hospital or shelter that needs help the most and we can all direct our efforts to that or divide the help towards a number of projects. I pledge $200 for the first project. If it all goes well we can make it a lil'. Larger. Let me know when,where and how.

If all good-doers have the fear of one thing or the other, nothing will get done. If you really intent to help there are many ways to get help directly into the hands of the ones intended.

LadyT:
Thanks Sweet T can you give more info on sending donations to these hospitals etc?
Easy, if you are in Nigeria, go to a local hospital and ask the doctors and nurses on how you can give money to kids or their parents who cannot afford their medical bills. They will take you to the ward with these kids and you can choose the kids to help. And if you are overseas, you can send the money thru loved ones to give to the clinics. I know that you can also call UCH and other hospitals to find out the best ways they for them to accept donations. Homeless shelters are all over lagos, Ibadan and Benin. i'm not sure of other cities.

PoliticsRe: The Nigeria Water Project by SweetT1: 1:54am On Oct 17, 2010
I'm in total support of Lady T's idea. Most Nigerians will be worse than the leaders they blame if they get a chance. We rely too much on the Government to do this, to do that. Citizens of most developed nations do for others and their community by giving to homeless shelters, local hospitals or volunteer to donate blood at a local clinic. Nigerians do nothing but complain, change Nigeria in your own little way by helping others. Help could be in the form of old clothes, shoes or toys for needy kids.

Christianity EtcRe: Nigerian Pastor's N28bn Assets Frozen By Uk Court by SweetT1: 1:46pm On Jul 19, 2010
This is really good and funny at the same time. There is no need for Nigeria to extradite his butt, freeze all of his assets to the point of minimum wage then he can start looking for a minimum wage in the UK. When he gets tired, he will return to Nigeria on his own and on bended knees at that. I despise thieves and buttholes.
CrimeRe: Almost 33 Nigerian Men Involved In Identity Theft Ring by SweetT1: 1:41pm On Jul 19, 2010
@Ileke-idi

Are you really wearing Ileke on your big butt?? I'll like to see that. But i dont know what to make of your post, you guys complain about Nigerians abroad doing this, doing that and yet you guys do nothing about it. If you are in NY or wherever these Nigerian thieves are, write to District Attorney (DA) and ask them if it's possible that they can use you as a Character witness against those idiots. You can testify and plead with the Judge and the DA to give those guys the harshest punishment possible and to use them as an example for other fraudsters. If Nigerians start doing this, rise up against these thieves amongst us, then we can wash the image of Nigeria one 419 case at a time. Many DAs will love to use as many witnesses that can help their cases as possible. I'm waiting for an Opportunity for this in Dallas area and i'll be in court to testify if the DA decides to use me. We are tired of Nigeria being dragged to the mud. Some of us has never stolen another man's dime and yet Nigerians are being given a bad name. The problem with Nigerians is "show off" mentality, he wants to make money at all cost so that he can go back to Nigeria and show everyone "He has arrived".

Some of us make a honest living. This is why i hate to call myself a Nigerian, even Nigerians inside Nigeria are no better. Either they are stealing from the treasury or they kissing the butt of treasury looters.

The people running African soccer are bunch of idiots. They think white men are the solution to every problems we have. They import Foreign coaches to coach our boys, if the coaches are so good why aren't they employed by their native land? Coaching a sport is more than handling the ball. You have to understand the psychy of the players. Can somebody tell me what Lagerbeer understand in our boys, i bet he can even point out what ethnic group Kaita came from. Sampson Siasia can do a far better job reading and coaching these boys. Thes African foreign coaches show no indifference to the game even when our boys are losing, some of them sit on their butt or fold their arms, No passion. If it was their fatherland losing a game won't they be yelling on top of their lungs??

SportsRe: Slovenia Vs Usa [2- 2] : Group-C Wc Match @ Ellis Park by SweetT1: 5:00pm On Jun 18, 2010
This why a background should be checked on every ref. b/4 they officiate any match. FIFA should make sure that the ref does not have anything against either country. If you look at the background of this ref, i would not be surprised if his family members has bee deported from the US or he himself had been denied a visa to the US. Yeye man. He should be banned from officiating another match.

In as much as i'm not capable of putting my hands on a woman, i'll not let her get away with that slap. The moment she slaps me, i'll assure my co-workers that everything was cool. As soon as i notice that she's off guard, i'll subdue her and tie both her hands and legs with my belt or a cable. If any of the male co-workers attempt to free her, that's where the big fight will begin. I'll not free her untill it's time to close for the day or may be even come back and free her after we all have gone home. I'll make sure that she never puts her hand on another man. This is not an assault, this is a restrain from her assaulting me any further and it's allowed under the the law.
