Hi, make sure you inform the school about your arrival and your isolation period.

If they email you about your Brp collection. Tell them that you won't be able to collect it on that particular day because you're isolating and ask them if you can pick your Brp when you're done isolating. They will give you another date to collect your brp.

But make sure you inform the school of your arrival and isolation.

I don't know about post office collection (if that's what is stated on your Brp letter).

In the UK, you are expected to collect the BRP in 10 days of arrival. You are also expected to isolate for 14 days. How can you go about this since you cant go out?

Please book your accommodation instead of staying in a hotel for 14days it is not funny.

Better to stay your accommodation at least you can cook and do other stuff in your own comfort zone.

And there is no difference right now you can't go out and inspect accommodation. They will send a video to you. Hotel won't send any video to you. You will stay in that room that was assigned to you.

So pick an accommodation now and focus on your lectures there no time again.

Collection mail 2nd November
Passport Collected 4th November!

I came on 3rd but was around 3:07 pm and was told that the office was closed!

Either is fine. A hotel or student accommodation is a better declaration than none, especially with regards to the 14 days isolation. UK wants to know where you will be the first 14 days of your arrival. It's that important that u can be denied entry if you fail to provide this detail.

It's fine, cheaper and more convenient with student accommodation than hotels.

Guys I need your advise.

I received decision mail (priority service) on the 15th October, up till now I haven't received a collection mail.
The tracker shows it hasnt been "Transferred to VAC" which I find odd.

I called on the 20th, the lady says I should wait till next week, that the priority only guarantees a decision will be made within 5 working days, but doenst guarantee delivery within the time frame. Which is rubbish!

I am aware the TLS offices are closed, but something should have happened at least. Does anyone have any idea when the offices will be open?

I intend to go to the UK embassy in lagos to make complaints next week, the moment offices open.

TSL offices are closed Nation wide till 28th of this month. Does it mean those that did Biometrics will have their application paused till after 28th or they can get decision mail within these period since decision is not made my TSL but UKVI
