Unfortunately someone here has already transacted with him. And till date she still doesn't have her ticket and she's planning to travel by 22nd August. Well, I don't know how to help when those who had bad experience transacting with him won't even speak up or say what they did to ensure he didn't go scot free with their money.

I wonder by which other cover he needs to be judged when the facts are glaring.

All I can say is, people should stop encouraging fraud by keeping quiet. Stop encouraging any form of bad behaviour by trying to make excuses for them. Nothing to be ashamed of that someone defrauded you. The more you keep the stories to yourself , the more they'll defraud others.

So this news has been flying around in a WhatsApp group and people involved seem not to want to speak up or take proper actions. This is me doing the little I can to alert y'all.

There is a fraudulent travel agent by name MR AFUNKU YUSUF ADENIYI going about duping people in the name of getting a cheap flight ticket for them. He appears to be registered with NANTA (National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies) and his ID shows he is a valid member on their website. A recent victim got his number from the group and asked for confirmation from those who booked with him. From series of comments, he is in the habit of giving fictitious booking ref numbers even though he managed to conclude bookings for some people but they went through alot of stress to get him to do that which took like couple of weeks to months. One of the members in the group went to confirm from Lufthansa and was told he was blacklisted a while back. And the Lufthansa staff said a number of people have come to make same confirmations of non existent bookings.

Back to the recent victim. Apparently he sent a booking ref no to this person who confirmed it on the airlines site or so. After a couple of days, going back to check again, the booking has be voided. All efforts to reach this agent became futile as he went incommunicado. We were alerted in the group today about this happening and we were trying to find out who recommended him to the group. Now the part paining me is that someone else in this whatsapp group was sending the screenshot of the conversation going on to him. He has an accomplice in the group!. They managed to get across to mr fraud and he had the guts to say that he is aware he's been called out in the group and gave more long stories and epistles.

More stories are coming up of people he duped and still haven't refunded till date. He is still acting innocent and full of stories according to those that managed to get across to him on phone. I don't even know what to make out of this anymore.

Anyway... if you happen to come across this name, Afunku Yusuf Adeniyi, face or number +234 803 497 0977 anywhere, please shout it and perhaps warn whoever it is to flee from Mr Afunku cos he is a confirmed fraud.

P.s I don't know what the people he duped have done or are doing. They aren't saying anything else in the group. It seems they want to pardon the fraud and the accomplice still in the group.

The passport photo needed is there any size or just any size of passport photo will suffice?

They take your picture right there with a camera connected to the system. So they dont even request for the one you came with.

You'll be given another changing gown to UnCloth down to to your undies If it's a male doc and you're female, he'll ask if you want a female nurse to be present. After all the tickling acrobatics, you're left to dress up. You'll then proceed back to the waiting area while the doc examines your x-ray. The doc comes back to call you in again and tell you to go as everything is all clear and your results will be uploaded in 2-3 working days.

This has got to be the craziest part of the whole process!!!... how could they ask you to stripe to undies in front of a male Doctor? Nurse available or not this is unfair!. IoM should have make provisions for male Doctors to take care of men and Female Doc for females.

Abuja Clinic definately wasn't like that. Someone that visited IoM Abuja last year requested for a Female and she was granted.

You got the story wrong o. I was given a gown to change into. the exam table is secluded. you are on your on doing the changing. They ask if you need a femal present when the exam starts. Cos they gas press your organs to be sure no pain (probably pain is evidence you gat problems there Internal organs o! ehe.

That's all I had and that's all they asked for.

Also if you have a print out of where your UCI or IME is stated, you can come along with it.

So I had my medicals yesterday at IOM Ikeja, Lagos. The whole process from entering the premises to exit took about 2hours 30minutes.

This is not a long post.

I was around Isaac John on Thursday so I decided to walk in and find out why I haven't gotten a response to my mail requesting for an appointment. All my efforts at calling was futile.

So I got to the gate and the security asked if I had an appointment. Told them I only came to make enquiries. They asked which country (Canada, Australia or UK). I was given a tag and signed in on the register. Got to the reception and asked to be given an appointment at the earliest possible date. The lady said I can actually do the medicals it right away! Well, she said I had to go down the road to make payment at standard chartered bank first before I start and the whole medical process is going to take couple of hours from start to finish. She gave me a piece of paper containing all info needed. ( Amount to pay, bank details, docs required, the processes etc etc). Anyway, I didn't have enough time to spare so I got booked for the next day being Friday. I went down the road to the bank, made the payment - 41,400.00 (1 adult applicant) and got my copy as proof of payment required. ( Note, you can make a transfer to their bank account, but the receptionist says it takes 2 to 3 days before they can confirm the payment. So if your appointment is not close by, you can make a transfer and print out the receipt before your date . IOM opens by 7:30am

On the appointed day, i got there about 7:30am. At the gate house, the security asked some questions to ensure i have all the documents required. They'll tick your name on the list, then you sign in and you'll be given a tag with a number. They attend to people according to this number. It is serial.

First, i got to the building just after the gate house. Here physicals are done and vitals are taken.( Height, weight, Bp, Eye test reading chart). I was given a form to fill and a container for urine sample. When you're done, you'll be directed to the main building.

We sat at the waiting room. A mix of UK, Canada, Australia. The nurses will come to call the tag numbers serially and according to the country. Also the registration officers will come to collect passport, proof of payment and the form you were given to fill at the first building. They collect it serially as well. You get called by the nurses first or registration officers.

At the nurse station, they asked series of questions and ticked the form they have as i answered. I was then directed to the collection room where blood sample was taken. I also gave them the urine sample at this point.( There is a toilet for you to peepee).

At the registration area, you sign the consent form and receipt that will be given to you for the payment you made. They filled my details on the system, took a picture of me and printed the form for me to cross check that my details were captured correctly. This is the information sheet you'll take home for upload. From here I was directed to the x-ray waiting area.

At the x-ray area. You are called one after the other. When inside, you are asked to pick a changing gown and remove everything you have waist up. Yea, including bra . There's a changing room for this. When you come out, you then proceed to the proper room where the x-ray is done after some breathing in and out exercise. When you're done and changed back to your clothes, you're directed upstairs to see a doctor.

Upstairs, you sit at the waiting area till the doc calls You in. Here the doc still asks same questions the nurses already asked just to confirm what they already ticked on the form. You'll then proceed to the physical exam table. You'll be given another changing gown to UnCloth down to to your undies If it's a male doc and you're female, he'll ask if you want a female nurse to be present. You can request for your test result to be sent to you of you're from outside of Lagos. Lagos residents are asked to come back and collect theirs

Kindly clarify, they are requesting for verification of your waec or they are asking for a copy sent to them by you?

If it's the later, there must be discrepancies in your data thus would require the Waec certificate to validate. My 2cent.

I am applying for my mum to attend my graduation ceremony in Edinburgh.
She is retired, on pension of about 28k she has the acct statement showing this. Current Bal about 28k she made a recent withdrawal of 50k from it, then another savings acct with allowance of 40k from my sis. Current Bal about 450k.
She stays in my family house. No title document just a will and letter of administration naming her and my bro. Can I add this document?
My bro names above will be the sponsor for the trip with 300k, source of income from rents on the above property. what can I state as reasons why he is sponsoring.
