CultureRe: Awareness On Ebola Virus Made In Igbo Language by swizzle(op): 11:50am On Aug 21, 2014
Jaideyone: good move but how many people have access to YouTube? is it being aired on TV and radio? I've been in Ibadan for about 3weeks now and I know Ebola is being seriously discussed on radio and TV stations. Even stark illiterates know much about the disease already. I hope other States are doing the same
Somebody that has access can show it to somebody that does not. I think it is good enof to just have it out there.

Pavore9: Yes o my brother, as all these cheap here if u compare am to Nigeria, make l take the opportunity 2 chop am wella. For lunch l dey take 2 litres of mixed fruit juices l make.
Yeah. It is better you make your juice yourself cos that way you can account for what is going into your system. I wish I could do that but for now I just stick to to pure juice and nothing from concentrate.

Orlando Owoh: So women also do it in Alaigbo? I'm not surprised. Because:
1. Both their male and female grow beard on the chest and in the chin.
2. Their male carry female hand bag in addition to Israeli flag when protesting.
3. Their hero, Ojukwu escaped dressed like a woman.
4. Governor Peter AdaObi behave more like a woman.
Hmm...What an A*SStastic statement...imp

grosebiz: It all depends on d products. U can't compare d superior quality of Nigeria cables to chinese.likewise some drugs are way ahead of deirs. But all in all, d importer determines d quality of products from China as dey give u wat u want at ur price
Yeah...I was about to say the same. Made in Nigeria electrical cables are actually very good and in some cases more expensive than their foreign counterparts. smiley

THE AMAKA: And does it look like i give a damn about the "impression" i'm giving faceless goons on this forum? I only provided evidence that Beverly's mom has not disowned her, despite popular belief. So how does that reflect on me and what I'd do? Beverly is her own person, not Miss Nigeria. BBA is rated 18+, so i don't see what people are expecting to find there when for a measly $8 you can view all the housemates nude and other obscenities.
If i were you, I'd mind my own business.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Unemployment Hits Nigerian Pilots, 170 Jobless by swizzle(m): 1:16pm On Aug 08, 2013
dolphinife: Some of us are talking out of ignorance. For a pilot to cough out about 10million naira just to be a pilot, do you think its easy? Moreover, pilot is very different from degree, we are talking of practical aspect.

You hardly find an unemployed pilot in any country. If not that our airlines are opting for expratriates, all those 170 wou have got a job.

For your information, the more a pilot stays at home, the more he becomes a sky-risk to flight. Since the job is about practical, a pilot must always fly every now and then or else, be expecting an air crash soon.

Infact, no pilot suppose to stay a day at home.....they are different from your yeye certificate una dey carry all about
What an A*SStastic statement...clap for yourself. As if you went to a university to study piloting. Which useless certificate did you obtain before going on to train as a pilot?

PoliticsRe: Lagos Is Safe For Igbos - Joe Igbokwe (ACN Publicity Secretary) by swizzle(m): 3:33pm On Aug 01, 2013
I wonder how dumping some people in the middle of nowhere translates to reuniting them with their families. People should stop allowing emotions cloud their judgement. If some yoruba or hausa people are rounded up and dumped at a certain location in Kano or Lagos it is equally as bad. If you really want to reunite them with their families the least you can do is to liase with their state governments. PEOPLE SHOULD STOP JUSTIFYING NONSENSE. And all these yoruba people here...you people should realise that igbos contribute more to lagos than you give them credit for. I do not know if you guys ignore that fact just to be spiteful. The igbos should also not come into someone's backyard and want to claim landlord. You contribute a lot to lagos yes but you do not need to blow trumpet about that...the unbiased know this already.
PropertiesRe: Lagos Family Houses (Pictures) by swizzle(m): 4:27pm On Jul 25, 2013
This is why the whole part of a country wants to kill itself over our lands! Yes, we worked hard, we evolved a sophisticated culture for over 10,000 years! Our fathers, our leaders like Chief Obafemi Awolowo bequeathed more than education to us, something some people cannot "get" even if they spend all their lives in class!
Wow!!! This has to be one of the most A*SStastic comment I have ever read on nairaland smh
