A friend was on the way to the bank, when quizzed, it was to invest money in Fixed Deposit, which the bank promised 3.8%. I was furious and strongly condemned and criticized such a move. Then I introduced Tbills, excited about it, we went together to FBN and got 18.1% for 192 days. I was almost worshiped. grin grin grin grin grin

The truthfulness of that Quote "if you are not informed, you are deformed" hold sway

Nigerian Banks cant show you anything good!
That means one can secure Tbill anytime. Not waiting fprban auction date.?

You are soooo WRONG!

There are "quacks" in every profession, orthodox medicine inclusive so, you might have been exposed to a quack chiropractor.

I use to have a pain for so many years that X-rays, battery of tests, e.t.c by Doctors and Physios have refused to solve.
They just keep saying "nothing is wrong with you", yet l feel pain in my lower spine!
I wont go into much details but just two visits to a Chiropractor (based on recommendation), solved the problem.
He said it was just a mis-alignment of the spine.

Lie down on that bed, raise the hips, put some triangular-shaped wedge at the appropriate points, apply small but sharp pressure and that was all he did........ to solve a problem that Doctors have been exposing me to unnecessary X-rays for years!
After it, l play and exercise like l could not do for a long time. (its some years now)

I think it is the height of ignorance, to condemn something you have no-clue about.
Maybe you are confusing a professional Chiropractor, with one of them "Ijaw Bone Setters", some of who do trial-and-error?
shocked shocked grin grin grin

I've never been to one before but my husband has for a back problem which was well handled by the doctor. It is a Chinese owned and managed place and they are really good with it, so they have quite a lot of clients and it's also moderately priced at 15k per session.

I haven't heard of any Nigerian owned centres but if you are good at what you do and put yourself out there via adverts, you should be patronized.

The practice isn't popular around here because people don't know of it's importance. Early and thorough treatment of lingering body pains and problems can prevent some life threatening illnesses when one gets older.
please ma'am, I would appreciate if you help me with some informations on how the whole procedure went, from the point he was administered, the requirements, was it just one chiropractor or are there other workers. I have a brother who wants to establish one. But, wants to have a little insight on how it works here in Nigeria. Please I really need your help on that. Thanks

I am so in need of a session right now! A chiropractor would do wonders but only in sane climes - ours is not always one I sadly admit. So many nefarious activities can be added to it.

Most chiropractors don't even know what they're doing. They work on you and the placebo effect kicks in, only to vanish and and leave you with serious complications like herniated discs. The profession isn't scientific enough IMO.

HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT; WHY HON. ADAELU HAS TOLLED THIS LINE

In a third world countries such as ours, there has been less attention paid to human capital development. This in no small means accounts for the level of underwhelming level of development attained so far, bearing in mind that educational sophistication of a people determines their developmental strides.

Besides, the numerous progress made by the Yorubas in the education and many other fields of endeavor today, is an upshot of Chief Obafemi Awololo understanding of its importance and duly ventured into the education of the western Nigerians.

The Yorubas have effortlessly traversed in the academia more than any other tribe in this country and as such contributed immensely to Yoruba nation building in one hand, and the country at large.

In the same vein, Hon. Solomon Ezinwa Adaelu representing the people of Obingwa, Osisioma Ngwa and Ugwunagbo federal constituency of Abia State, having just deployed brand new earth moving machines procured by him for the Yearly All Round Grading of roads in his constituency, seemed to have used a fine tooth comb to ascertain some other challenges facing his constituency.

It is a known fact that the people of the area have a comparative advantage in education than business which is commonplace in the Igbo region, hence the lawmaker constituted a scholarship scheme committee made up of the best brains in educational field in order to serve the academic needs of the people.

The committee inaugurated on the 1st day of April, 2017, swung into action with an action plan to procure and process 300 pieces of 2017 JAMB forms for the indigent constituents. This is meant to be equitably distributed and benefited by 100 hopefuls from each of the three local government areas.

While the forms are now at the designated areas, the headquarters of the three LGAs and the constituency office lawmaker at N0 295 Aba Owerri road, many of the hopefuls are encouraged to get the forms free off charge as this periodical programme will rub off in the scheme footing the academic bills of 30 best beneficiaries, who secured admissions into various higher institutions from inception of their academics to their graduations.

The lawmaker also, through the scheme, invited all students of the constituency on the Easter Monday for NEEDS assessment in relation to their academics and on how to benefit from the EDUCATION ENDOWMENT AND SCHOLARSHIP FUND which the Honorable Member has set up.

The scheme has also earmarked some resources to sponsor healthy competitions such as quiz amongst schools with introduction of mathematics and sciences, aimed at encouraging reading culture among the students.

Hopefully, you ll learn to appreciate good things.
It's obvious that we have a system that isn't working, but do not forsake the much efforts being made by few of the good hearted ones. Prove to them that their efforts are being acknowledged as well as spore them to do more. In as much as it's our civil right.

Please help me push to front page. I really need much opinions . Thank you.

What is Chiropractic?

Spinal Health and Well-Being
No part of your body escapes the dominance of your nervous system. Improper function of the spine due to slight misalignments-called subluxations-can cause poor health or function, even in areas far removed from the spine and spinal cord itself. Misalignments can also reduce the ability of your body to adapt to its ever-changing environment. Even the slightest malfunction of your spine may alter the regular transmission of nerve impulses, preventing that portion of your body from responding optimally.

Natural health care without drugs or surgery
Chiropractic is a natural form of health care that uses spinal adjustments to correct these misalignments and restore proper function to the nervous system, helping your body to heal naturally. Chiropractic doesn't use drugs or surgery. Rather, a chiropractic spinal adjustment-the application of a precise force to a specific part of the spinal segment-corrects the misalignment, permitting normal nerve transmission and assisting your body to recuperate on its own.

Thanks for the matured responses.. I really need as much response as possible, information wise

Also, any form of knowledge or idea about the profession would be appreciated.
