no worry,when e don buy shocks 100k twice and work on the front legs twice at almost 200k,air issues,heating(which instantly kills the m271),flood,air conditioning which is very notorious in the w203,he will know he should have chosed another car over that machine.
Do not buy a C230k if you no get better Money,simple!
It does not tolerate abuse even for 1sec
I like how the gear fails almost instantly if you don't buy Mercedes star oil,original filters and steady going to the computer guy to reset gear so as to have proper movement.
Then you begin to wonder if you should expend that much on a car that isn't admired anymore?

My 2006 C230(W203) compressor has been said to be not working(4spearate guys here in uyo) and they all recommending i install a Peugeot 507/8 compressor, that it workx almost better than benz own based on different gas specx

Use Castrol magnatec 10w40, it's a better synthetic oil.
It sells for about 8k for 4l.
Most Mobil 1 in the market are fake, it's possible u bought one.
It's all up to you to follow wisdom or not.

lolz...it takes an experienced person to work with results from a scanner. Most times the scan doesn't give straight forward results.
Especially if multiple components are not reporting accurate readings to the ECM.
This is a topic for another day sha.

Get a fairly used maf and test....you don't need to pay for it.

Don't you have an electrician already? Any electrician worth his salt must have a multimeter or a semblance of it (screw driver with a bulb attached to a wire ), what exactly do you want to test? Is it battery voltage, or fuse/relay current and resistance?

If it's battery voltage, your Merc can measure it and give you live readings without the need for a multimeter

Hehehe you got a great sense of humour. One of the most important tools for modern cars especially the Mercedes Benz is the multimeter tester.... Simple but very critical.

Truth is if you give me a basic lexus or Toyota I'll be very confused....

I feel supremely confident and comfortable with my m111 m102 m112 m113 m104 m103 m272 engines...

Inspect and if okay buy....but I hate converted w203's even when unconverted they look somehow in the engine bay. Meanwhile the model is plagued by defective electricals...

Driver side signal repeater should be 12k max.
There is no disadvantage using the " manual" compressor...it's more solid than the automatic.
Misfires can be a lot of things...plugs, coils, nozzles, airmass.
